Ambitious, skilled and motivated
We went for game drive in akagera and it was among the best safaris I ever had! The tour was well organized and everything went smoothly and easily;
We even spontaneously rescheduled our tour within the NP after request

Wonderful operator thats always on time.
Had a great experience with Baraka as our driver and he always had enough water and snacks. He was always 15 minutes early and would highly reccomend him and Expedition Rwindi Voyage. We were only there for a short amount of time and was very impressed with the tour company, Rwanda as a very clean and productive country and the once in a life time trek to see the endangered mountain gorillas. Amazing coffee too.

Three out of big 5 + 2 great tour guides = 5 stars!
I did the Akegera National Park 1 day tour and loved it! Two tour guides took me for a private tour to Akegera from Kigali in a pop up roof 4x4. They were both lovely, interesting to chat to and were really committed to finding the best sightings of animals. We saw lots of 3 of the big 5 plus loads of other animals which I was happy with but apparently that counts as a less exciting than usual day. The highlight was definitely the boat trip where I saw some beautiful elephants bathing and eating in the water close up. Thanks for the tour!

The best experience possible
Everything went smoothly since the moment I asked for a quote on the website. Barack responded almost immediately and his emails were always very sincere. I asked a lot of question about the tour and payment and everything was explained to my satisfaction... sometimes even before I managed to ask.
My trip to Akagera National Park started exactly on time, as we agreed. I was picked up at my hotel in Kigali and I enjoyed the drive to the park with a stop for breakfast at the nice lodge. My guides Lydia and Gerard (I am very sorry if I messed up your name) even taught me a few words in kinyarwanda, and I do remember them until today, so they have really done a wonderful job. The morning was rainy, but the weather was gradually improving and we managed to see a lot... lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, a lot of antilpes and monkeys. We crossed the whole park from the south to the north and back. I am really glad I also joined the boat trip where we have seen hippos, crocodiles and... Read more hundreds of bird species. We had a great conversation during the day and I have learned a lot about animals and Rwanda. On the way back to Kigali they were so nice, that we stop at couple of stores for me to buy coffee.
This was definitely one of the best experiences I ever had. Rwanda is really worth a visit and the people there are soooo nice. I strongly recommend Expedition Rwindi Voyage, the whole team is very professional and lovely.
Murakoze Lydia, Gerard, Barack and the whole team
Jacqueline who organized our trekking and Barrack were both super efficient and friendly.
The gorilla trekking was an unusual an unforgettable experience. The walk has some rough patches so come prepared with good boots and protective clothing. But the likelhood of finding gorillas with a good ranger is high and if you are lucky with the weather it is definitely worth the cost

Unforgettable experience
After two weeks spent in Africa we honestly have to say that it was the best experience in our whole lives. With Barak everything was possible, he is so helpful and kind, our trip was problem free and at last but not least we had so much fun together! 😊 Thank you for everything, hope to see you again one day 😊

Enthusiastic and really helpful!
I first met Barack when he picked me up from the bus station in Kigali. From the very beginning, he showed genuine care and asked if I had any plans or needed assistance in Rwanda. When I shared my travel itinerary, Barack immediately proved invaluable, arranging our permits and helping my friend and me find budget-friendly accommodations near Volcanoes National Park. He even secured a driver for the rest of our trip.
When we returned to Kigali, Barack went above and beyond once again, helping me obtain a permit to see gorillas in Uganda. He connected me with his local contacts, ensuring everything was well-organized. Throughout the trip, Barack consistently offered helpful advice, valuable information, and ensured we got the best deals wherever we went.
I wholeheartedly recommend Barack to anyone in need of a trustworthy and resourceful guide. His dedication made our journey truly seamless!

Fantastic Primate Tours!
I participated in two amazing primate tours with Expedition Rwindi Voyage, both guided by Barack. First, I did a 1-day gorilla trek at Volcanoes national park. We had a great time; Barack facilitated our drive from Kigali, our hotel stay near Volcanoes, and everything to do with the trek on the day. We were in awe with how close we were to the gorilla family.
Next, I did a 1-day chimpanzee trek in Nyungwe forest. Again, Barack facilitated the drive to and from Kigali, the hotel stay near Nyungwe, and everything to do with the trek on the day. We were very lucky and saw multiple chimpanzees including a baby - I heard it is not as "guaranteed" to see chimpanzees as it is to see the gorillas.
I felt very safe and welcome with Barack. If I'm lucky, I'll come back to Rwanda to do a longer trip!
