Amazing views of some of the best places
Our tour was just amazing. From the meet and greet to the final farewell.
I saw the big 5 and more! Our tour guides and drivers were just great! They are all very accommodating and knowledgeable in all aspects.
Just wished we had better roads ( but that comes with the country) I would definitely come back and do it all over again.
The accommodations were beyond my expectation! Truly amazing experience

Fantastic safari in Masai Mara
From start to finish this safari ecxceeded all our expectations. Our driver Jackson was brilliant, and Ashnil Mara Camp was a great place to stay.
We ended up seeing 33 lions, 2 leopards and 5 cheetahs. Don't hesitate - just book.

We liked adventure, it was good enough, although the travelling between the camps was exausted.
We bought the 6 day Classic Best of Kenya.
-Generally, the people were amazing in terms of customer sat and attention to our needs and details. Our passionate and private guide James is really knowledgeable and make us lived the adventure in the jungle and the wild. As a former British colony, the communications were simple and strait forward although we learned some Swahili words in order to communicate with the Masai. The ultimate safari experience for us would have been a shorter travelling time (we spent almost 2 1/2 full days travelling by road from point to point); Here is our suggestion: from the airport, if you arrive at night, Longview suite in Nairobi, then Amboseli (2 days), Mara 2 days and last day in Nairobi. Nakuru does not worth the visiting. Food was ok. For bio brakes, stops were in tourists spots. We would have preferred non tourist traps. Lastly, ask for a jeep or equivalent instead of a caravan if you are travelling between January through the rain season, each $ of the extra $500 worth it (I haven't took it and according to folks who did, the confort was definitely better because of the road conditions). Overall good but definitely could have been better. Thanks to the whole Classic Journey team who made our safari unforgettable!

A fantastic experience
This is the 3rd time I travel with Classic Journeys. And have all 3 times had the same guides. We were met at the airport by Mathew and Geoffrey. Mathew is always helpful, nice and service minded. And made sure everything was as it should before we where ready for a new adventure. Geoffrey always has a smile in stock and is a wonderful driver and guide. We always feel safe. He never takes any chances. On game drive he is an open book with information about animal and plant life and reads the animals' reactions. Out of that he always finds the most exciting animals. We always returned full of experiences. I can recommend him as a guide and we will use him every time we go on safari. Classic Journeys is a company that has clients in focus and does what they can to make the safari perfect

A fantastic safari with a kind and knowledgable guide. January 2018
Leading up to the tour Charles at classic journeys was very accommodating and patient with us as we decided what trip to do. Always quick to respond and to offer suggestions.
Our tour guide Chamillus was fantastic, super knowledgable and could spot a pride of sleeping lions a mile off! We were in Tanzania and went to Ngorogoro national park and the southern Serengeti - we saw 4 of the big 5 and had we stayed an extra day I'm sure that sneaky leopard would have made an appearance! Our stay at Kati Kati camp was magical, the food was delicious. We wish we could have stayed an extra day! We did a 2 day safari but I would say a 3 day would be best to ensure 5 out of the big 5!
It was raining heavily on day one when we went but that just added to the excitement - Chamillus was an off-roaring pro and it was quite the ride through Ndutu!!
Thank you for a fabulous time Classic Journeys Africa!

Excellent safari - definitely worth the experience.
Charles was very prompt in communications, very clear with all of the arrangements. We had changes that were easily accommodated and our guides were excellent. We were set up at very nice locations inside the parks and the transfers and safaris were very easy. Excellent trip overall!

Amazing Tanzania!
We traveled with Classic Journeys on our honeymoon through Hisbiscus travel in Norway. We had an amazing trip with game drives in Lake Manyara, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater.
Our guide Madgi (sorry if that's not spelled correct) took such good care of us, and made this an experience we will cherish forever. He has so much knowledge and passion for the animals, and told us everything we wanted to know along the way. It was a pleasure getting to know him, and we hope to see him again sometime. We can't thank him enough.
In addition to spending the night in nice lodges, we spent two nights in a tented camp in Serengeti. This is one of the things that really surprised us, and we loved it! "A must do" when going on safari!
