Another Excellent Trip
My wife and I went with Hermosa in 2024 when we did the Gorilla Trek and had a fantastic experience with them so when we decided to go again in 2025 there was never any doubt that we would be using Hermosa yet again. Once more they were an absolute delight, a company I have full confidence in which counts for so much when booking a holiday. I was assisted all the way by Yvonne and Oreste, both of them responded instantly to any questions I had and they made sure everything was absolutely perfect. Our driver/guide was Augustin, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous time. Hermosa are the sort of company who take great pride in their work and who's first thought is to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied. Whether it be communication, service, reliability or the whole holiday, Hermosa make certain that the customer is looked after and has a marvellous time.
Richard was absolutely amazing; very knowledgeable and also very polite and accommodating.

The safari was fantastic!
The safari was 10/10. The car, the driver and the guide (same person) was fantastic. The accomodation was also very good. The guide was very engaged and had a very good knowledge about the animals and spesific all the birds.

Smooth, clear communication, simplified process to work with them.
Service and communication was very good before the trips which made you feel at ease that your with a good guiding company. Although your paying a bit more, it’s worth the private ride provided and professional tour guides that ensure you get taken good care off in any activity (we did Gorilla trek and the Akegera Safari) as our guide Richard gave us a lot of info about the country and the animals there.

Never miss Akagera National Park
We recently had the privilege of visiting Akagera National Park, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Richard, was absolutely amazing and played a huge role in making this trip so special.
Richard's knowledge of the park’s fauna and flora was exceptional. He seemed to know everything about the animals, birds, and plants, and he was always eager to share fascinating insights and answer all of our questions. His passion for wildlife and conservation was contagious, and it gave us a deeper appreciation for the beauty and importance of Akagera.
The safari itself was breathtaking — from spotting majestic lions and elephants to watching herds of antelope and buffalo in their natural habitat. Richard had a sharp eye for finding animals we would have otherwise missed, and his ability to anticipate their behavior gave us unique moments to observe them up close.
On top of that, Richard’s warm personality and professionalism made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the trip. It was clear he genuinely cared about creating the best possible experience for us.
We highly recommend Akagera National Park to anyone who loves nature and adventure, and if you can, ask for Richard as your guide — you won’t regret it!

Best tour company in Rwanda
We have booked this company for our chimpanzees trekking and canopy adventure tour in Nyungwe plus water expeditions in Kivu lake, akagera safari for Wildlife and unique Cultural. we were amazed by Rwanda country in Africa. Experience of a lifetime
Our 2-weeks tour with Hermosa was an experience of a lifetime for many reasons. Starting from the welcoming, caring and safe tour guide Abou who taught us many (less known) things about Rwanda, its people, culture and nature, the amazing activities and sights of many animals to the nice accommodation and delicious food. It would not have been the same without Abou, the local guides, the porters and so many other people we were able to meet along the way. We can only recommend exploring the country with a local tour operator like Hermosa who fulfilled all our wishes and a knowledgeable guide like Abou who can make a difference. Rwanda will remain in our hearts forever.
