The Soul of Tanzania in a unique and unforgettable experience!
I am part of a group of friends who travel regularly and as a leading tour, I started my research a few months ago, in order to plan a Safari in the best parks and reserves in Tanzania and dedicate the last days to some neglect on idyllic beaches from Zanzibar. Since our group was somewhat extensive (21 people) and required greater complexity, I realized that the support of an agency in the field was essential for the success of the trip. I consulted several operators to whom I requested proposals, both in terms of itinerary and budget, and from the first moment that Soul of Tanzania stood out and even though they were not the most economical, they proved their advantage over other operators from the first moment. Throughout the planning phase, from the definition of the route, the choice of accommodation, the proposal for parallel activities, internal flights and even the stay in Zanzibar, I had the support of Luis G., whose role is Journey designer, and I can only give you top marks.
His performance was tireless at all levels and his pro activity is second to none. We exchanged hundreds of e.mails, and I've never been more than 12 hours without an answer from you. But I also want to highlight the professionalism of the team on the ground, whether in welcoming on arrival in Arusha, whose role of Mr Beatus is essential, giving us a detailed briefing of what we could expect in the next days of Safari, to the team of Guides who accompanied us ( in our case there were four because we traveled in 4 cars) whose commitment and competence was outstanding. In general, they revealed high professionalism, knowledge, friendliness, flexibility, and an enormous sense of duty, revealing creativity in the presentation of solutions that aimed to improve the pre-established plan or manage unforeseen circumstances avoiding the success of the trip. All lodges and campsites were exceptional, both in safety, quality and exoticism. The meals served during the safaris are an authentic must, complete meals, hot and accompanied by wine. The cars are very well equipped, with a cooler for drinks, (and how well you can drink a very cold beer in the middle of Safari), as well as being safe and very comfortable, which is worth mentioning since we spent hours inside them on the walks daily. The guides are incredible, they are authentic strategists, always knowing where to find the animals and what is the best position for the cars to be able to photograph. In addition to the "big five", we saw thousands of other animals, as part of a National Geographic program. Our car's guide was Daniel, who besides being helpful and friendly, his knowledge of animal life coupled with his safari experience, also deserve top marks.
I can say that without exception, the 21 people who made up the group rated this experience as one of the best, if not the best trip of their lives and did not spare praise from the beginning to the end. Over and over again they highlighted the excellent organization at all levels, the quality of the guides who accompanied us on Safari, whether for their competence, organization and resolution of issues and all this with a touch of challenge, making our adrenaline grow. The bush dinner was outstanding, we knew that not far from where we were having dinner there were lions and in the middle of dinner a herd of high-speed wildebeests, visible from our tables, probably escaped from the lions ... but beware! the camp team never neglected our security, patrolling the entire area around our tables. Finally, the choices in Zanzibar, either in Stone Town, on the beach and activities carried out, were considered top.
Anyway ... a perfect trip in which everything was accomplished, with no deviation from what was expected and that in the feelings of all participants far exceeded their expectations. To repeat a Safari, it will always be with Soul of Tanzania. They are to be congratulated!!!!

8 Day Safari: Arusha, Lake Manyara, Tarangire NP, Serengeti (Central and South), Ngorongoro NP
I went on this extraordinary Safari accompanied by my two younger children aged 21 and 23.
I would be remiss in not communicating all of our absolute and unforgettable awe and pleasure in visiting Tanzania.
It’s incredible, warm and kind people, its breathtaking and varied landscapes and its astonishing, unrivalled and
magnificent wildlife have left us all grateful,
humbled and forever changed by this experience.
I would especially like to thank Jojo and Aziz for their warmth and helpful guidance prior to and after our safari. Aziz joined us on our One-day trek to Kilimanjaro prior to
the start of our Safari and provided translation, guidance up the challenging path and the initiative to assist me with my photo taking. He was unfailingly good natured and patient. My two children consider Jojo and Aziz a part of the family.
They are both remarkable young people: devoted, kind, patient, intelligent and spirited.
No words can describe our grateful appreciation for Hassan, our Safari Guide: our Moilimou. His incredible knowledge and patience; his extraordinary
skill at driving difficult terrain; his absolute empathy and conservation interest in the Tanzanian wildlife; his exceptional eagle-eyed observational ability at pointing out inconspicuous plant or wildlife created life-long magical memories.
It is as a result of his kindness and interest that my daughter especially became quite skilled in Zwahili.
It is also solely because of Hassan that my daughter’s birthday whilst on Safari was celebrated by the chef and the staff and all those present in the Camp that
evening.
All accommodations were wonderful and the food was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented !!
Thank you again Helena of Soul of Tanzania for your thoughtful organization of this memorable extraordinary trip.
As they say in Tanzania: Asanté Sana.

Dream experience with reliable agency !!!
We are a Spanish couple who decided to look for a local agency to carry out the safari since we thought they would know the stays and the experiences better! From Spain they only offered packages that did not adapt to what we were looking for and shared the trip with a group. We are not wrong!
From the first moment Soul of Tanzania passed us all the information and proposals necessary to propose our trip to our liking via email with an unbeatable treatment. They matched all our requests and requirements and proposed a dream trip, which we would also carry out on private tours throughout the trip.
Once there everything was very organized. Our two guides (one for Kenya and one for Tanzania) were very friendly, careful and professional, and they tried to see and learn as much as possible at each outing. The proposed hotels very successful, despite choosing the Standard class (the most basic of the ones that happened to us), the stays were comfortable and clean, and even some luxury.
In short, the treatment, information, organization and experiences with them of outstanding!
When we return to Africa we will repeat with them without hesitation.

An unforgettable trip
I took a trip to see the gorillas in Rwanda and to get to know Serengeti, Ngorongoro and part of Kilimanjaro from February 1st to 10th, 2020. From the first contact, I felt welcomed and all my doubts were promptly resolved. I highlight here the excellent service provided by the entire team involved. Always welcoming, kind and ready to assist me. I traveled alone and I confess, with a great deficiency in the English language, which was no obstacle at any time. Everyone tried hard to "understand" me and everything went smoothly and safely. The guides Edmond (Rwanda), Joel (Kilimanjaro) and Elinas (Safaris - Tanzania), were exceptional. All the lodges and campsites booked were fantastic. One of the highlights was the unique meals, served during safaris. Flawless complete meals. I lived unforgettable moments. On a perfect trip, safe and surrounded by attention. I especially thank Helena from Soul of Tanzania who made my dream a reality. I already want to go back because there is still a lot to see.

6 day Safari- a memorable trip
Our experience with Soul of Tanzania was seamless from the very first email interaction. Having been recommended Soul of Tanzania from friends, we emailed to enquire about a safari for my husband, our 16 year old son and myself for mid-January 2020. All our questions were promptly answered and we felt very confident to book the trip with the company.
From arrival at Kilimanjaro airport we were well looked after. All our accomodation during the safari was very comfortable and safe.
The highlight was undoubtedly seeing the magnificent animals in their natural habitats. Our driver, Emanuel, was exceptional and enhanced our trip with his knowledge, friendly and professional manner. Photography advice he gave helped us get fantastic photos we will always treasure. Emanuel also created fabulous lunch experiences as we feasted on delicious hot lunches and a glass or two of wine whilst soaking in the ambience of the Tanzanian bushland. At all times we felt completely safe and looked after whilst in Emanuel's care.
We took the additional option to visit a Masai village. The experience was unique and we were glad we did! It was a fabulous memory as well as an opportunity to gain a firsthand insight into a different and interesting way of life.
Two of our accomodation sites were campsites. We slept in luxurious tents and fell asleep to the sound of lions and animals whilst feeling completely at ease and safe- this was a magical experience, especially as the warm, friendly and hospitable staff at each site made us feel so welcomed.
I highly recommend Soul of Tanzania to organise a truly special way to interact with these magnificent African animals and enjoy the wonders of Tanzania

A Lion King experience
For our honeymoon we really enjoyed the safari, in the different national parks. Our guide explained us a lot about animals and local tribes lives.
Very great experience

Incredible experience
We just came back from a dream vacation in Tanzania. Our 5 day safari followed by 3 nights in Zanzibar was fully organized by Soul of Tanzania. It has been an incredible experience made only possible by the unique professionalism and competence of this agency. From the moment I first wrote Soul of Tanzania until the day we came back home, I was in contact with Luis who supported us at all times. During the safari, our guide Kennedy was amazing, knowledgeable, and super fun. Overall the organization was spotless and everything went smoothly. The accommodation both during the safari as well as in Zanzibar was way above what we expected. I really can’t recommend soul of Tanzania highly enough.

Amazing experience! - "Mom! When will we go again?"
Me and my two kids (10 and 6 years old) traveled with Soul of Tanzania and the experience was unique for the 3 of us. The kids still ask about the driver, Ali, and it was one month ago.
The trip was planned only with 2 month in advance and the prompt reply of my emails was the key for everything being possible.
Everything was very organized, since day one, picking at airport, till returning back to it.
Ali, the driver was very experienced and full of patience to handle with high drive kids and their stubborn "things".. He really knew how to adequate the logistic of 5 days full time safari with young kids!
About the Safari itself, it was an amazing experience, with Ali's knowledge, it seems we were inside national geographic episode. We had very lucky and saw everything what was expected.
We could think 5 days of Safari it's hard specially with kids of this age, but even with the youngster, 5 days passed without noticing For that, besides the guide/driver, it has contributed all the wonderful organization of Soul of Tanzania, and their unique, hot, fresh, daily meals, which are of the most importance, when we have kids - and even my kids noticed the difference between their meals and the other groups prepackaged lunches.
At the end I may say: 5 STARS for you, ALI!
and share my son's last day comment: "it seems we began only yesterday and it was already finishing? I want to return on the dry season!"

An amazing 7 days safari in Tanzania made true by Soul of Tanzania
Planning the safari was very easy with our journey designer Luis from SoT since his activity and good suggestions. All pretasks was done with Luis’s help and there were no problems at all with them.
The safari itself was amazing, thanks to our guide Deo who make it happen as planned - just perfect!
Starting from Ngorongoro, then central Serengeti, Ndutu and finally Tarangire. A huge variation of animals including the big 5 in Ngorongoro and Serengeti, lions and cheetas in Ndutu and elephants and Oryx antilopes in Tarangire. Added with amazing views, sunrising ... just excellent memories !

Unique experience!
From the first moment I had approached Soul of Tanzania, I got the feeling I was dealing with professional people here, who would have made my trip unforgettable.
I was contacted by a journey designer (Luis in my case, who I can't thank enough!) who illustrated me the different options for a safari in Tanzania. It didn't matter how big or small my questions were, he has always replied within 24h to my emails, which is not given everywhere. We first paid 50% of the total, and then the rest 50% a month before our trip. The payment is a money transfer, which went smooth like butter.
We've landed in Kilimanjaro airport, and a representative of the company was waiting for us there to take us to our accommodation.
The next 5 days were priceless; our driver and tour guide was very kind, perfect english and very helpful in explaining the culture of Tanzania, the landscape, the country etc.
He was very knowledgable and spotted animals way before we did :)
The lunch is provided by the company, and I've noticed the lunch from Soul of Tanzania is way better than most of the other tour operators. To begin with, it's a hot lunch. We've always had a different main every time, rice, a side, plus fruit and coffee (and wine or water of course). Most of the tour operators only give you a lunch box, which is a sandwich.
The accommodations picked by Soul of Tanzania were really good. We went for the basic ones, and they all had AC in the room, WiFi, etc. Not much more you can ask for, plus you can check them out before you book, so you know which place you are getting.
If you are planning on going to a Safari in Tanzania, look no further and go with them, I highly recommend them!
