Once in a lifetime!
A special trip for a special occasion. The Fika team was able to translate our family’s wishes into a schedule that fitted us all. Game drives, sampling the diverse countryside, action and relaxation, all in one program. Seeing the big 5 is easy. Seeing Kenya made the trip exceed our expectations!
Safari trip with excellent travel planning
Fika really provides tailor made packages. We've been communicating a lot and they never got tired of our questions or changed budgets and dates. They remained professional at all times. We were timely informed on pick up time, even got a reminder just before pick up and also during the trip Fika stayed in contact with us if all was well. They provided a great vehicle, experienced and knowledgeable driver and had arranged all till every detail.

Couldn't be happier to have chosen Fika Safaris to be our overall trip organizer in wonderful Kenya!
Dear Fika Safaris,
As we get closer to the end of our adventure in Kenya, I find appropriate to leave a feedback for Fika Safaris. Before I go place by place, the overall itinerary set up by Robert was excellent and everything progressed smoothly.
1. Masai Mara and Ashnil Camp - superb!!! Firstly Joseph was amazing, than the game drives, tent accommodation and food were top of the line. It’s a very special place. Seeing the wild life in this national park was spectacular, plus the scenery is impressive.
2. Camp Carnelley’s and Lake Navaisha - another awesome spot, accommodation was good and food stunning! Their pizza is just insanely delicious, with thin crust. For the more athletic people like us, I recommend Mount Logonot volcano for the free day, otherwise, Hell’s Gate will do.
3. Soames Hotel and Ol Pejeta - the hotel is just gorgeous, like one from tales. Another place with stunning food! Ol Pejeta in my opinion isn’t really impressive, nice to see the black and white rhinos close to our car, maybe we were expecting the Masai Mara experience.
4. Mount Kenya with Lenana Peak - incredible experience. The drives towards and out of the mountain are very nice. Good choice with GoToMountKenya, Evans and his guides are doing a good job. We had no problems with accommodation, perhaps suggesting to future customers the tents option to, lodges when full harder to sleep well.
5. Acacia Tree Lodge Hotel - a gem in Nairobi! Very close to Wilson and Jomo Kenyata airports, within minutes from The Hub Mall and The Junction Mall - perfect place for transitions and shopping.
6. Afrika Pearl and Diani Beach - such an amazing beach, wow! The resort isn’t that great, you have the basics, disappointed by food options during the day - prepaid breakfast and dinner were ok, had everything. Own by a French guy, so maybe if non French speaking customers, you could look for other options at similar prices, otherwise this will do. The room was nicely located with ocean view.
7. Transport by land and air - everything was organized and really smooth, not a single problem or delays.
8. The People - unreal humble and nice staff at every single place we stayed, and very respectful. Every place we visited is/was special, but the people looking after us made it so much more special.
Well done with making such a great introduction to Kenya and Africa to us. The itinerary is/was a massive success! Happy we choose Fika Safaris!
Thank you Robert and Fika Safaris!
Warmest regards,
Dan

Nice 3.5 day trip to Lake Navasha/Masai Mara (booked on very short notice)
A friend referred several safari operators for us.
We, a couple around 30 years old, wrote all of them via email.
Fika Safari responded rather quickly and offered a reasonable price.
Circa 10 friendly e-mails and a few days later everything was set.
The following week, we had a awesome Safari experience in Kenya.
We would clearly recommend this operator

Fika went the extra mile to ensure our honeymoon trip was the trip of a life time
The communication was transparent and we co-design the trip. However, they manage to excede our expectations by taking care of every detail and ensuring quality service from all hotels and other providers. The cherry on the top was our guide, he was really knowledgeable and aprovechable and help us have a blast in the trip

Dream come true: beautiful and well-organised safari!
We did a one week safari in Kenya, where we visited Masai Mara and Naivasha. Everything was perfectly organised! Ester and Robert were super helpul in their communication, and making sure that we got our dream safari for the budget we had!
We were picked up by our super friendly guide David who accompanied us the first 3,5 day. He showed us everything of the Mara that we wanted to see and was very much open for discussion so we could really plan the safari in the way that we wanted to. He made sure we saw all the animals we wanted to see (all of the big 5!!), stopped wherever and whenever we wanted to to spot animals, and made sure that we really got the most of our time at the Mara. After a beautiful safari he drove us to Naivasha where we had some time for ourselves. With the help and tips of Ester and Robert we were able to figure everything out there on our own, and plan visits to mt Longonot, Hells gate and Crescent island. Transport backto Nairobi was then also provided, sowe got back easily!
The accomodations we had were also perfectly organized. The locations were great, right at the edge of the Mara and at lake Naivasha. They were beautiful camps, with all amentities one could need and a perfect place to enjoy a beer after a long safari. Water and good meals were provided for the safari, and Ester and Robert were super helpful in planning the trip and making sure we were also happy during the safari!
This trip has been a dream trip of mine, and the perfect organisation of Fika safari's even exceeded all my expectations of the trip!

Kenya: on the road among the majesty of nature and the hospitallity of people
The tour have been well organized: It included main attractions like the Masai Mara Reserve, and also visits in local areas away from tourist routes more known. We appreciate a lot the accomodations when we have been, always pretty tends or "banda", located in the middle of the wild nature, where awazing landescapes were always within eyeshot. We felt free to stop the trip wherever something or someone got our attention, this allowed us to stay in contact with local people, to talk with them and to understand a lot about Kenya. Our guide was very prepared, He explained us a lot about the places we visited, He is an expert on animal wildlife (expecially in birds species). He loves his job, and We felt it in the manner how He described us any details always with a smile. He became our friends, and we have to thank him for how much we learn about Kenya and for the good time we spent togheter. Our journey went beyond all expectations.

Wonderful safari in Kenya for wheelchair person
The communication with Fika Safaris was easy and fast, both by mail and by phone.
Robert was always available to solve our doubts and suggest solutions to our special needs.
The services provided were the expected. We were received in the airport by our safari guide. A fast meeting with Ester and Robert to review with us all the details of the safari, and as they commented, this was our safari and any problem, complain or requirement, they are available to solve it. We didn't need it, because all was as was planed.
We visited Tsavo West, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. The accommodations were perfect. Completely adapted for people with high disability. All of them wonderful, with a very friendly and profesional staff.
It depends on each case, but we would suggest always the 4x4 to enjoy it at 100%. It is only for people who don't need travel in their wheelchairs and can be transferred to the car seat, because the adaptation is just 2 ramps to mount the wheelchair in the car, but the door is too small to mount the person in the wheelchair.
Macharia, our safari guide managed all perfectly. He explained us all the details of each place that we visited, the animals and plants that we found, and solved the few troubles that we found, as for example, the lunch in Naivasah's hotel where we arrived with a big delay by a traffic issue crossing Nairobi.
By his long experience, he knows the best places to find the animals, and the places to take the most beautiful photos.
In summary, a fantastic vacations that met all our expectations. We recommend Fika Safaris to all the people who want visit Kenya. We hope repeat soon and visit also Tanzania with them.
