Kenya: on the road among the majesty of nature and the hospitallity of people
The tour have been well organized: It included main attractions like the Masai Mara Reserve, and also visits in local areas away from tourist routes more known. We appreciate a lot the accomodations when we have been, always pretty tends or "banda", located in the middle of the wild nature, where awazing landescapes were always within eyeshot. We felt free to stop the trip wherever something or someone got our attention, this allowed us to stay in contact with local people, to talk with them and to understand a lot about Kenya. Our guide was very prepared, He explained us a lot about the places we visited, He is an expert on animal wildlife (expecially in birds species). He loves his job, and We felt it in the manner how He described us any details always with a smile. He became our friends, and we have to thank him for how much we learn about Kenya and for the good time we spent togheter. Our journey went beyond all expectations.

Excellent!
Exceeded our expectations.
Our first morning we had an unexpected meeting with Robert and Ester. It was really nice to meet them in person and to know who to contact if we had questions. A good start of our week in Kenia. We travelled with David and had a great time with him. An excellent guide and a true host.

Well experienced for the disabled traveller.
I actually went to both Tanzania and Kenya. Drivers in both countries are very friendly and well-trained for the person in a wheelchair. Though I am traveling alone in a wheelchair, I was able to enjoy safari tours in both country in relatively short time period. Mr. Robert is the owner of this company. Even before taking off, he communicated with me very well with quick response. He listened what I really wanted and made it feasible!
I am very happy with his tour and arrangement. If I ever come back to Tanzania or Kenya, I will choose this company again for my tour provider!

Fantastic, well organized trip
We truly enjoyed our trip to the Masai Mara, organised by Fika Safaris. The communication was always promptly and detailed. Our wishes were carefully listened to and catered for. The car was extremely comfortable, knowledgeable and pleasant driver and a thoughtful welcome post card. The camp selected was fabulous. Great location and fantastic food. We managed to see a river crossing and lots of other wild life. Overall an unforgettable trip, thank you Fika Safaris!

Exactly what we were looking for. Better than hoped for.
Because of this pandemic we had to change the dates of this safari several times. This was never a problem for the organisation. All communication about tour, changes, payments, lodges happened via email and WhatsApps. Very easy and fast communication. Excellent guide: helpfull in any way, punctual, discrete, hygienic about his car and himself. We went to Tsavo East and West, past trough Lumo conservancy and visited Amboseli. Saw many, many animals and very few other tourists. Lodges were very well placed with spacious tents and bathrooms. This was not our first safari, but definitively one not to forget about. The sundowner offered by the company with mount Kilimanjaro in the back was a highly appreciated surprise. Another plus is the way Fika safaris organised the PCR testing at the end: mini bus with nurse came to the restaurant where we were invited to a lunch! We enjoyed this trip very very much.

Perfect trip to remember
We had a trip from Friday (flight day) and a week later on Saturday evening return flight. So more than 7 days (private) safari through different parks. Started in Tsavo West and ended in Massai Mara. It was a great trip with a pleasant guide/driver (David) of a 4WD. We spotted a lot of animals and the shelters were very good. All in all an unforgettable trip tailored by Fiki Safaris. The whole trip was well taken care of and we lacked for nothing. We can recommend Fika Safaris.

Authentic and flawless
Fika Safaris had given us an amazingly flawless Kenya experience. It was perfect end-to-end arrangement and we didn't need to bother about anything at all. It was a vacation where you didn't need to worry about anything, and everything is taken care of.

Robert and Ester were so responsive and helpful. Which put us at ease planning such a big trip.
We visited Kenya 2005 and it was a trip of a lifetime. We wanted to share the experience with our kids and planned a safari for March 2020. We, like many families needed to cancel our trip. Robert and Ester provided regular communication as they worked with the different camps to reschedule/cancel our trip. It was a very challenging time and they were able negotiate fair refunds and credits. Based on our initial experience building our safari and working with Fika through our Covid cancelation we knew we would be planning another trip with them as soon as we felt comfortable, we would be able travel.
We reconnected with Fika in April 2021 and started planning a trip for April 2022. We planned stops in Nairobi, Loisaba, Lake Naivasha, and Masia Mara.
Pre- trip
Fika was incredibly helpful helping us understand the current covid travel and Visa requirements to enter Kenya. The pre-arrival support made us feel extremely comfortable that we would not experience any delays while clearing customs.
Arrival –
Our guide David was waiting for us at baggage claim and was extremely attentive to our needs throughout the trip. His knowledge of Nairobi, Loisaba, Naivasha and all points between was impressive. No question went unanswered or request unfulfilled.
In Nairobi, they were able to secure the Karen Blixen suite at Giraffe Manor. The suite was fantastic. The staff were unbelievable. The food was delicious. But the Giraffe experience was unbelievable. Happy hour feeding, sunrise feeding off our balcony, and they even joined us for breakfast.
Loisaba Tent Camp – After a short flight from Nairobi our kids were greeted to their first bush drive where they spotted leopards, elephants, giraffes to name a few of the animals we saw on our drive from the air strip to the tent camp.
The tent camp was beautiful. The views we gorgeous. The staff was super. And again, the food was unbelievable.
Our guide John Scorpio was a pleasure to spend time with and gifted spotter of wildlife. On our last evening game drive, he was able spot a black leopard which is an extremely rare animal to see in the wild. What a way to finish our stay.
Lake Naivash/Loldia House –
After a 6-hour drive from Loisba to Naivasha we could not be more surprised by the idyllic setting that is the Loldia House. It felt like we stepped back to the 1930’s. The property was wonderful. The food was great. The staff unbelievable. One of the most unique experiences was having breakfast while hippos and buffalo were “rough housing” mere yards from our table.
Masai Mara/ Elewana Sand River.
After a short flight we arrived in Masai Mara and were met by our guide Dickson. We knew we saved the best for last when within 30 minutes we found ourselves in the middle of a pride of about 20 lions. The abundance of wildlife in the Masai Mara makes it that you do not want your morning and evening game drives to end. Additionally, it felt like Dickson knew every inch of the park and knew where to find any animal the kids challenge him with locating.
The Elewana Sand River was classic tent camp. The setting, tent, staff, and food were a 10 out of 10.
We are already discussing and return trip and look forward to working with Ester, Robert, and the rest of the Fika team again!
