We got to see all the “BIG 5” animals during our trip. Mudy knows where to find them.
It was amazing from the beginning to the end, and I’ve been on two safari trips with the same guide, Mudy.
It’s a fear price and a good car. Great food and fantastic company. Mudy makes the trip just like you want it. He knows where to find different animals during different times of the day. We even got to see all the big 5 animals, thanks to Mudy. He also explains details about the animals you see along the way.
This is absolutely a good choice if you want to go on a safari and have a great time watching animals, eat good food and just enjoy your safari trip to the fullest.

Highly recommend to travel with Planet Reserve . This is a dedicated, good customer care and timely operator.
I had a one day group trip to Ngorongoro Crater with this operator on 26th December 2018. That was holiday season, and I booked quite late, only 1 day before the departure. But The Planet Reserve tried their best to find a place for me while other operators offered trip on a much later day or with high price for single tourist only. Thanks to this operator, I had an amazing safari in the famous heaven Ngorongoro Crater.

Incredible adventure!
It was my first safari! I very like animals and always wanted to visit famous Tanzanian parks. Although the trip was definetely not hakuna matata-style, it was GREAT! Mudy was a good organiser. He wasn't too intrusive and didn't make me to take decision and pay as soon as possible. Instead he answered ALL my numerous questions. When I arrived, he took me from the airport and explained a lot of things regarding Tanzania and safari.
For the first day in Tarangire we had 7 people in the car + guide, but it was OK since the car is very big. After Tarangire 2 people left, and for the rest of the trip we were 5 + guide and cook. The first night was in the campsite near the lake Manyara and it was a great place! We had small houses instead of tents and a majestic view of the lake. The rest 2 nights were in tents. Hot water was only in Ngorongoro, where the weather was cold like in my native country:D The food was great, everyday we felt like in restaurant! Tents were quite good, only sleeping bags were a bit cold. But Mudy awared me that I should take a warm jacket. I did so and was happy. The hardest night was the second one, which we spent in Serengeti, because we got into rain and I got some cold. Plus there was a hyena, wandering around our camp and it was quite scary to sleep, but now I understand that it was so adventurous! True joining with nature!:D
And of course, all the animals were just amazing!!! Huge thanks to our guide Rashid, who found all of them and told so much to us about them! In Tarangire we have seen 3 herds of elephants, numerous cute youngs and one very old clever female. In Serengeri we have seen my favorite cheetahs - a huge family of 1 female with 5 children. And of course lions were just our stars! We have seen them every day. In Serengeti we've seen 4 young lions, which were eating zebra. Next morning we woke up before the sunrise and managed to see a huge pride of 10+ females and one male, tearing apart poor wildebeest. We were just 10 meters away from them It was unspeakably scary and awesome! I did amazing photos!!! Thanks everyone for organizing my safari!

Tarangire + Lake Manyara
We made a two day Safari. We loved both National Parks. They are full of life and our driver Mudy knew very well where to go. He is an animal lover, he was always looking for the best spot for us to see the animals but always being respectful with them, what we loved it. He was very friendly and kind, he made our experience unforgettable. 100% recommendable.

Once-In-A-Lifetime Safari Experience
My friend and I chose this particular safari package because it was a perfect length - five days/four nights - and included time in Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, but spent the most time – one full day, most of two other days, and two nights in the Serengeti. Don’t miss Ngorongoro Crater. It is a mystical lost world richly populated with diverse animal species. Think the Great Valley in the movie Land Before Time. Also, if you are trying to decide between Tarangire or Manyara, take note: if you want to see elephants, go to Tarangire. You won't really see them in the Serengeti. But visiting the Serengeti is mandatory. The fact that it is essentially an ancient mountain range filled in with sediment when the volcano that became Ngorongoro Crater erupted - the rocky outcrops jutting out of the savannah are all that is left of the mountains - created one of the most unique ecosystems on earth. This safari was also a great deal – only $850 per person. Mudy was flexible and helpful in arranging the details; when their credit card machine was not working, he drove us around town for about an hour to find a working ATM. Benson was a thoughtful and generous safari guide. He had a great sense of humor but didn’t speak much: his mind was constantly working as he tirelessly drove us around the savannah for almost twelve hours a day, relying both on the announcements from the other guides on the walkie-talkie as well as his own impressive knowledge about the animals’ favorite spots and daily habits. On our early morning game drive, we saw two leopards, a cheetah resting on a rock with her two cubs, and a lioness nursing her cubs on the ground about one meter from the front wheel of our vehicle. Our guide said we were "very lucky" to see that, but we wouldn't have seen it if he hadn't known how to bring us to the right place at the right time. We saw two additional leopard sightings - one playing with her cub - and two sightings of the rarer male lions. We even saw a pack of about 12 lions eating a wildebeest they had just caught. It was like a live episode of the Discovery channel. We even saw the mythical black rhino – the oldest species in the Serengeti disappearing at an alarming rate from the face of the earth - about 20 meters away. Sleeping in the tent in the camps in the Serengeti and on the rim of the crater was an adventure. The mats are thick and I was always comfortable and warm, but it was terrifying waking up in the middle of the night and crossing the campground to go to the restroom. We were told to bring our lights whenever we left the tent at night because you can use them to spook any animals you see. The campgrounds are not fenced in, and our guide told us that the animals "just know" to stay away from what they understand to be "human territory." But the first night I heard a growl right outside my tent about ten seconds after I climbed back in. The next morning we learned that both hyenas and lions had been lurking right on the edge of the campground. They were most likely just growling at each other, but I found that to be cold comfort. I did not shower the entire five days, even after the constant sweat and dust of the safari, because it was too cold in the evenings and mornings, so be prepared for a grimy time. Best to schedule your beach time at the end of our vacation because you'll need multiple days of soaking in the ocean to get yourself back to new. In case you're worried from the above that there is a complete lack of creature comforts on a camping safari, let me correct that misimpression. Our personal safari chef made us three hot delicious meals every day, so mealtimes were a pleasure. They even brought wine (which was a little extra I think)! Overall the rustic nature of the experience only added to the magic. There is absolutely NOTHING like a safari in the Serengeti. It’s an untouched ancient wonderland unlike no other place on earth. It is fascinating to see how the animals are neither afraid nor curious of the safari trucks. It is a profound feeling to realize that here is a spot on earth where humans are truly irrelevant. If you want the once-in-a-lifetime safari experience, you can’t go wrong with Planet Reserve!

Unforgettable safari
Prior traveling to Tanzania, all communication with Planet Reserve was excellent. Mudy is very comprehensive and forthcoming in our wishes of joining a budget camping safari. We were very well informed on the formalities, itinerary and accommodation in advance in order to well prepare for the trip.
The safari trip of 6d/5n was an adventure and experience that will remain with us for always! We love our guide Peter, who is extremely experienced and who loves his work. Peter's knowledge of his country, the parks, the flora and fauna and the tribal people is more than complete and he loves sharing it with us. He is very considerate and patient with us and respect our ideas and answers all our questions thoroughly. Being an excellent driver also, he knows how to position the jeep so we could take perfect photographs. We seem to be front row at each event!
The cook with us for the trip is Gideon who is a happy face very day and who is a magicien of the kitchen! He prepares delicious dishes every time - we definately have gained weight on this trip. Gideon takes care of us, apart from from cooking he makes sure the tents were OK and that we were woken up in time for his breakfast.
We feel so priviledge to have experienced this trip with such wonderful people, it is just beyond our expectations. Except from being in the marvelous parks and viewing the incredible animals so closely which is a dream come true - to share it with such beautiful persons is a bonus!
An unforgettable safari adventure of nature and human level!
