Five Star experience all the way
Our family of 5 just completed a 14 day custom family trip to Tanzania through Easy travel and tours. We chose Easy Travels primarily from online reviews and we are glad that we did. Our tour manager was Voice Gerson and our driver/guide was Gilbert Mariki. This turned out to be an amazing once in a lifetime experience for us.
From the first email communication Voice was prompt, responsive, flexible and was very easy to work with. She was very informative and guided us through an excellent itinerary that met all our needs. She patiently worked with us as we made multiple changes. Our trip included an internal flight to Kogatende air strip, two days each in northern & central Serengeti, Tarangeri NP, Lake Maynara NP, Ngorongoro crater, Empakaai crater hike in Ngorongoro and Kilimanjaro day hike from Marango gate to Mandara Hut. We stayed in a mix of tented camps and lodges. Everything was well organized. Our Safari vehicle was in excellent condition. It was nice that water and soft drinks were included during the safari. We came every morning to a clean vehicle with 1 liter water bottle in every seat and soft drinks and more water in the cooler. The only added expense we paid for was alcoholic drinks, laundry and tips. There are other tour operators (700 in Arusha Alone). Easy travels/Voice offered me the best combination of size, scale, personal attention and flexibility. I would highly recommend easy travel for safari in Tanzania.
Gilbert Mariki was our guide/driver. We spent 14 days with him and he became a part of our family. Gilbert is extremely knowledgeable in wildlife behavior and skilled in spotting them. He is pleasant, patient and managed to satisfy/meet the needs of my family with 2 young adult kids and a teen. He worked tirelessly to show our family the most wild life viewing and best experience in Tanzania. His driving skill is outstanding and he always placed us in the best possible location/ angle. He is doing this for over 20 years and seemed to know many guides from different agencies and was able to work with them. He was in constant radio contact with others in the area. The itinerary had him pick us up from Kogatende airstrip and take us to the camp for check in and lunch. Just outside the airstrip, he made a u turn after hearing something on the radio and showed us a massive wildebeest Mara River crossing within an hour of our landing! This was a bucket list item for me. We saw 4 crossings in 2 days including 6 crocodile attacks! Overall we saw the big 5 including over 106 lions with 5 of them on a tree, 7 leopards, 6 cheetahs, 4 black rhinos, large herds of elephants, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, gazelles and countless other wildlife. Once we saw a pride of lions and Gilbert goes “they are looking for lunch” and moved past other vehicles and parked perfectly near a herd of gazelles. We saw a lion hunt evolve spontaneously right in front of us!!. We saw a total of 5 lion hunts. I would highly recommend Gilbert Mariki for anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.
We plan to visit TZ again and can’t wait to go with Easy Travels, Voice Gerson and our beloved guide Gilbert Mariki.

Cannot go wrong with Easy Travel. Highly recommend!
Where to start, it was all incredible! Communication with the main office was great through booking and on tour, very responsive and informative. We did 5 days between tarangire, serengenti and ngorogoro and I cannot recommend it more. Our guide Adrian was brilliant! 20 years experience, friendly, helpful, good company and so knowledgeable. Knew exactly how to fit the day plan for us. He chatted openly and honestly on everything from local culture, his training and family etc. - my girlfriend and I are honoured to have got this time with him. He often took us on separate routes to the big crowds and we saw the big 5, cheetahs, Hippos and so many more up close. My previous safari was in Botswana and Zambia and this one definitely won both on the animal sighting and experience by Easy Travel. Everything from packed lunches, bathroom stops, general request and comfort were all looked after with no hassle. My only tip is to stop reading any more reviews and book this one.

Amazing Safari with Easy Travel!
We had an amazing time on our recent Tanzanian safari led by Abisai of Easy Travel.
Friends who had used Easy Travel recommended the company to us. Employees Lizbeth and Masuma were very efficient and helpful setting up our safari, arranging the lodging, and answering our many questions. The hotels and tent camps they recommended turned out to be excellent.
But the best part of using Easy Travel was the chance to have Abisai as our guide. Abi (as we called him) was randomly assigned to us, but I feel that we won the safari guide lottery. He was simply fantastic. He is a warm and gentle person with a winning personality and a great sense of humor, who shared stories and pictures of his lovely family, and joined the tent camp employees in their after dinner dance. He kept an eye out for all of our needs, from making sure that my daughter received gluten-free meals to finding us modern bathrooms with flush toilets.
His most impressive strength, however, is his depth of knowledge about the Serengeti and its many animals. Abi has been a safari guide for 10 years, and his experience shows. His ability to locate animals and get us very close to them was astonishing. He has very keen eyesight, and was able to scan the horizon, identify a group of lions far off in the distance, and then find a way to take us right to them. Abi would often engage with drivers in other vehicles, sharing information about where to get the best views. While I don’t speak Swahili, I feel confident that the other drivers were getting much more information from Abi than he was getting from them. Thanks to Abi, we saw the Big 5 (all but the black rhino a few yards or even feet away) as well as a cheetah, a couple of serval cats, every kind of antelope/gazelle, warthogs, hyenas, hundreds of giraffes and zebras, hippos, crocodiles, ostriches, other beautiful birds and, of course, thousands of wildebeests (including two river crossings). At the end of one particularly full day, Abi asked if we were ready to go back to our camp. We jokingly said “Sure, unless you can find us something we haven’t seen yet.” Abi immediately responded “How about a hippo not in the water? Look to your left.” And there it was!
If you are considering a Tanzanian safari, I suggest that you use Easy Travel, and, especially, that you request Abisai as your guide.

Convenient and professional
We had a great time on our 6-day easytravel safari. Our guide, Abisai, has lots of experience guiding safaris and spotted many elephants, lions, and even several rarer species. He also was very accommodating to our needs when we had special requests. Highly recommended!!

Unforgettable safari with the best in the business!
Easy Travel, and particularly our guide Abisai, made our safari incredible from beginning to end. Prior to the safari, the people at Easy Travel were extremely communicative, providing us with detailed information about what to expect, what to bring, and recommendations for lodgings and itineraries. We felt well taken care of from the moment we stepped off the plane in Arusha to the moment we stepped on our flight in Northern Serengeti. But what made our trip truly extraordinary was our guide, Abisai. He is clearly the best in the business. With his 10+ years leading safaris, he knows the geography of the area like the back of his hand and handles the rough terrain with ease. He has an eagle eye and spots animals far off in the distance before anyone else and then easily navigates us to the perfect vantage points. We saw the Big 5 by day 3, and when I mentioned at dinner one night that I’d love to see a lion cub, he made it his mission the next day to deliver, and we saw 3!! In the northern Serengeti he ensured we had front row seats for 2 river crossings. He joked with us, danced with us, shared stories, and by the end of the trip he truly felt like part of the family. I highly recommend Easy Travel and Abisai!!

Awesome, well arranged experience
As a family of 6, we visited Tanzania. Our guide Ernest took us via Tarangire, Lake Manyara to Serengeti and last Ngorongoro Crater. He made all our wishes come true! With his huge amount of experience we've seen amazing wildlife and learned a lot about all these different national parcs and the people living in and close to these parcs.
We loved Tanzania, and would recommend our tour and guide Ernest to all!!

Voice Gerson was amazing, helping us plan out the smoothest of trips, with some great tips!
Easy Travel gave us an amazing experience that was astonishing and truly the best experience we could have asked for. Voice Gerson, the manager, helped us plan the trip out perfectly, giving us detailed explanations that made the trip stress-free. Our guide, Adrian Agustino, was the best guide we could have asked for. He made sure that we were able to see every animal we wanted, completely surpassing our expectations. Additionally, he helped make our accommodations feel like home. The overall experience was flawless, and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Easy Travel truly was the easiest way to travel, and gave us a safari we will never forget.
Great teamwork between sales group and safari guides
We were a group of 9 doing the 7-day Mara River Migration Safari in July'23. Our ages range from 23 to 59 and we all loved the safari.
Amina and Hellen helped us organize the trip. It was a two-year process with many emails exchanged and they were always professional and pleasant in their responses. Importantly, everything they committed to happened as they said it would. From picking us up at the airport at 1:50 am to allowing us to leave large bags in their office and getting them to the airport so we would find them there the day of our departure. They gave us a lovely welcome at their office the first day we were there.
Our guides, Abi and Louis, were wonderful: knowledgeable, fun, flexible, great drivers, and they made every effort to get us to see the animals we wanted to see. We appreciated their openness to speak about their culture, their country and themselves. Their English is extremely good. We were very lucky to have them as our guides.
The lodges we stayed at were a big part of the experience. We picked the comfort level for the lodges, they had tents with hot water, flushable toilets, wash basins, mosquito nets, but also the sound of lions at night and waking up to beautiful views of the Serengeti, lion paw prints on the floor and amazing views of a buffalo herd. The men that work at the lodges are very welcoming. They do dances and sing; some are Massai, and they are very willing to share their culture and the way they live. The food was good, tasty and plentiful.
We went to the Ngorongoro, and North and Central Serengeti. The experience in the 3 areas was different. Ngorongoro had many animals in a smaller area. It was very cold at night. The expanse of the Serengeti was breathtaking, we saw many individual animals in Central Serengeti and larger groups in the north, mainly of hippos, giraffes, lions and elephants. We did the balloon ride in the North over the Mara River, it is more expensive than most balloon rides, but absolutely worth it. Incredible views.
The one minor issue we had was bugs inside the tents at one of the camps, but nothing to spoil the experience.

Easy Travel took the stress out of planning our trip and made it "Easy"!
Just finished our 8 day migration safari with our guide Abisai Mbaaha from Easy Tavel and words cannot come close to describe the amazing experience we had on our Safari. Tanzania is a beautiful country full of wonderful people, a variety of animals and great scenery.
It started with the ease of planning our Safari. Voice at Easy Travel made the process of booking our complex vacation simple. She answered all my questions and took care of all the details. It was very Easy.
We arrived to the north Serengeti by plane and meet our guide at the airport. Abisai greeted us with a smile and instantly made us feel comfortable. His knowledge of the animals behaviour was displayed on the very first day, as he was able to track the movement's of the Wildebeest and we were able to witness the first crossing of the season, with a great view of the Wildebeest and the crocodiles. Abisai had set the bar high on the very first day! We witnessed 2 more crossings the next day
As our Safari continued, each day was better and better. We traveled from the north Serengeti the the central Serengeti and were able to see many animals that we did not think were possible to see. Abisai was able to spot animals from great distance, many that were missed by the vehicle's traveling in front of us. Abisai had great knowledge of the central Serengeti and took us to less busy areas in order to have a better chance to spot the animals. When he did spot the animals he was able to position our vehicle to take the best photos. His knowledge of the animals, plants and different areas of the Serengeti often provided us with the best view of the animals, and explained how they behave and interact with the other plants and animals in the park.
We left the central Serengeti and traveled to Ngorongo crater, and Abisai again was able to provide us with great views of both the scenery and animals. We were able to see the elusive Black Rhino, as well as the rest of the"Big Five". We had a very nice picnic lunch in the crater, with proper table and chairs, overlooking a small lake with hippos floating in the water.
We then traveled to Tangire, stopping at some places to shop for souvenirs and a visit to a Maasai Village far from the main roads. The village was genuine, not commercial looking like the villages on the side of the highway. The visit to the village was another incredible highlight as we learned about the Maasai people and how the live their lives. Again, Abisai ensured we had an authentic experience. Our game drive in Tangire again produced amazing opportunities to see the animals in their environment. We finished off the day with a great view of a leopard, in a great location that again the vehicle in front of us missed. What a way to close out the day. We returned to Arusha the next day and our minds and cameras were filled with the memories our time in Tanzania and Abisai.
Each and every day we felt safe, we learned much about the animals, their surroundings and the culture of the great people of Tanzania. Our accomodations each night were beyond expectations, camp was very welcoming and made us feel we were part of their family. The food was delicious, the tents were comfortable and we slept great knowing we were well looked after.
The service was outstanding, the tour price was very competitive but the value received is way above compare. The Toyota Land Cruiser was comfortable, clean and never let us down.
A thousand more words could not describe our experience well enough, our expectations were very much exceeded and we are already thinking about our next trip back.
Excellent Experience! I would highly recommend them!
My husband and I did an 8 day Migration safari with Easytravel for our 20th wedding anniversary. They were able to customize our trip to meet our needs. The planning of the trip went smoothly and they answered our many questions and offered great suggestions. They were very quick to respond to anything that we asked and made our planning much easier.
When we arrived everything was beyond our expectations. The level of service offered by the main office and our guide, Abisai Mbasha was beyond what I could have imagined. They really make sure to take care of the people they have on tour. They make sure that you are comfortable and are having a great time.
Our Migration tour was just the right length for us. We stayed mostly in camps and were surprised at how great the experience was. They were comfortable, the food was great and the experience of being close to nature but with all the comforts of a lodge.
Our guide Abisai Mbasha was so knowledgeable that we were able to see so many animals and learn so much about the areas we visited during our trip. He made the most our of every day. Definitely good value for your money.
We looked at a few places that friends had recommended and I'm so glad we chose Easytravel.
