5 Amazing Days in the Serengeti
5/5

We just returned Friday Jan 27th from the most amazing 5 days in Serengeti. I dealt with Lightness at Easy Travel, and she is patient, knowledgeable and just so very nice to deal with. We probably went through at least 10 itineraries before we found the perfect one for us. I can’t praise Lightness enough. We arrived in Kilimanjaro on Saturday pm, we were met by Hussein, who took great care and got us safely to the coffee plantation(free upgrade due to overbooking!) we were delayed at the airport due to lost luggage. The team at Easy, Actually Lightness, took over after all the paperwork was filled out and worked hard to get the two pieces of luggage out to us while on Safari. We flew from Arusha to Serena airstrip early Sunday am. Our incredible Guide, Emilian met us at the airport and the adventure began. We had a morning drive, which was amazing, lion with an elephant kill and silver back jackels trying to sneak a snack. We then headed to Tortilis camp, our home for the next three nights. This was also fantastic, right in the middle of it all. The staff there was amazing and the food superb. The evening soups alone would have sustained me. Went out for an afternoon drive on Sunday as well. Monday and Tuesday were full days, with a delicious lunch packed by our attentive hosts at Tortilis. Emilian is the best guide in all of the Serengeti. He showed us everything you could possibly want to see and then some. He knows the animals and birds so well, a guide with a google like brain. In one day, we saw a leopard, tons of cheetahs, including a cheetah chase and get a reed buck, giraffes, elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeests, a cheetah with her three cubs, a lion lounging in a tree and ultimately lions mating! We watched the pair for over an hour, we were the only truck there and they were about ten yards away, surreal. We got back to the camp as the last light was in the sky. Tuesday, we made our way towards the great migration as well as tons of giraffes, also the lions who had walked through our camp the night before! On Wed we headed to Ngorongoro, stopping just outside the park entrance to get the most unbelievable view of the great migration. Ngorongoro has so many animals, however we did manage to spot and watch a black rhino. This is a nutshell version of an amazing, perspective changing few days. Call Lightness tomorrow and book your trip!

Trip of a Lifetime!!
5/5

We just returned from a 9 day safari, a bucket list trip for our family, and it was amazing from start to finish! From my initial inquiry email to after we arrived home Voice had everything planned perfectly and made sure that we had everything we needed. Voice was always quick to answer any and all questions we had and made planning this trip very easy for me.
Once we arrived we were greeted by Emmilian, our guide, who right away took great care of us and our daughters. Emmilian became part of our family and we are eternally grateful to him. His incredible love and knowledge of Tanzania was obvious. Throughout our 9 day together he educated us on the culture, the lands and of course the birds and wildlife. He had a phenomenal sense of where and what the animals were and what they would do, and as a result we had many incredible moments experiencing the wildlife.
Voice, Emmilian and Easy Travel, we cannot thank you enough, you have provided our family with experiences and memories that we will cherish forever!!
Asante sana!

Increíble service!
5/5

We had such an amazing time in Tanzania thanks to Easy Travel, particularly our superstar guide Ombeni. He was fun, knowledgeable, flexible, professional yet genuine and we all felt so comfortable spending a week in safari with him. I’m so impressed that he speaks English and Spanish fluently, probably more languages as well as the knowledge he shared with us about animals, culture, history, just about anything. We enjoyed learning about Tanzania and fell in love with the people and the nature.

I also want to emphasize that Tortillis camps we stayed at 4 locations were also amazing. The food was great and they provided more than enough for the three meals every day. The staff was super friendly and we enjoyed the dancing and the singing a lot.

I really hope that a lot of tourists will come back this year and I strongly recommend choosing Easy Travel for the safari tour.

Wonderful Custom Safari with Easy Travel!
5/5

My family and I did a 12 day custom safari with easy travel and are absolutely thrilled with our trip. I spent months researching different safari companies and am so happy I choose easy travel. Everything was perfect and far exceeded my expectations. Lizbeth in the office was great to work with. She answered all my many questions and helped me put together a great itinerary. I wanted to include walking safaris, cultural experiences, and birdwatching along with game drives, and she was very helpful in knowing where this was, and wasn’t possible, and set this all up.

Adrian, our driver/guide, was great. He seems to know the Serengeti and all the other places we went like the back of his hand. He understood animal behavior, and knew exactly where to go to get the best wildlife sightings. He knew answers to all our questions about wildlife, and Tanzanian culture, has a nice sense of humor, and was really fun to be with. And most importantly to us, we felt completely safe the entire time. After just a couple days we trusted him implicitly to protect and take good care of us. We saw all the wildlife species were hoping to see, including countless lions, 4 cheetahs, 4 leopards, and 8 rhinos. We absolutely loved the game drives and learned so much.

Every single detail of our trip was expertly and smoothly handled. For most of our walks Easy Travel had arranged both a naturalist and an armed ranger to accompany us. Everything happened exactly as planned. We went hunting with the Hadzabe and visited the Datoba tribe, and Easy Travel had arranged a really delightful Datoba elder to be our guide for this (Adrian came too). We also spontaneously included a stop at a Mossi village, at Adrian’s suggestion, which was really fun. We’ve traveled a fair bit and so really appreciate how much work goes into making sure everything happens exactly when it should, especially when it involves coordination with so many people.

We’d assumed this would be the only time we’d ever come to Tanzania, but are already making plans to come again and will definitely come with Easy Travel. I honestly can’t imagine how any safari company could possibly be any better.

Unexpectedly Awesome!
5/5

Unexpectedly awesome!

My husband and I did a private safari - 5 days, 4 nights. We were blown away at all the animals we were able to see, and the competence and experience of our guide, Everest. He knew when to be patient and as a result, we were able to see a pair of rhinos pretty close up. We counted 60 lions in 5 days! The accommodations were perfect for us, and we certainly were well-fed.

Lightness was wonderful to work with through the booking process, and always very responsive to my many inquiries. She even came to meet us in person at the conclusion of our safari since we were not able to connect in advance.

The only reason I titled this as "unexpectedly awesome" was because we really didn't know what to expect at the start of the safari and were blown away by the wonderful experience.

An unforgettable experience!
5/5

First of all a big THANK YOU to Norah and Gerald for planning this wonderful journey for us in perfect alignment with our schedule and wishes. Our intention was to have one week of deep dive into the beauty of Tanzania with an individual experience far off from any mass tourism and enabling us to see as much as possible of the Great Migration. We got even more...

Gerald picked us up from JRO airport and was our guide for a week of wonderful adventures creating everlasting memories and a new friendship. Starting our tour in Arusha we enjoyed a night in the Arusha Coffee Lodge to familiarize with the local atmosphere after our long-haul flight from Europe. Watch out for the cute monkeys playing around.

In the morning of the following day we started our tour as Gerald's private guests in his reliable Safari car to 3 different wildlife areas following the trek of millions of animals (zebras, wildebeasts, antelopes, etc). In the Ngorongoro Conservation Area as well as in the Serengeti National Park we spent our nights in the luxurious tents of the Tortilis Group with wonderful evenings at their firesites ("Bush TV"). Both crews made our stay a wonderful memory and took all fear of wild animals approaching our camp during nighttimes - even when hippos rubbed against our tent. Also our camp in the Ndutu area had a stunning view to a lake with thousands of flamingos, zebras crossing and giraffes by-passing our camp.

During our daily safari tours in different areas Gerald did not only prove being a highly knowledgeable guide but also a humble, goodhearted, amazing human being. His more than 20 years of experience pay out when he spots animals and forsees situations others do not expect as e.g. "lazy" lions all of a sudden starting a hunt or finding a hidden family of cheetahs with 2 little ones. You could even call it a "sixt sense". Gerald accomodated perfectly to all of our wishes. His stories about Tanzania and the tribe of the Massai as well as answering all of our questions made our experience even more unique.

We are now back home to work since more than a week and look back with joy to the wonderful memories of our Safari tour. We would strongly recommend to chose Gerald as your guide - not only due to his kindness and experience but also as we always felt safe and secure.

Many thanks again for this unforgettable time and a big ASANTE SANA to all the wonderful people we met along our journey!

A great agency that is flexible to work with.
5/5

I had the best time going on Safari with Easy Travel . It was my solo trip as I was hiking KIlimanjaro Mountain & my friends who had done safari last October in Tanzania with Easy Travel highly recommended me to use Easy Trave services & they did not disappoint me. Safari Expert Norah Cliff helped me to put a personalized private itinerary together and was quick to answer all the questions I had before our trip.

I did 3N4D Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro crater, my guide Gilbert Mareki was amazing, he had answers to all my questions on the wildlife, birds and was an expert at locating them and also shedding light on Masai Tribe & Culture.

My Safari start/pickup was from Moshi at 7AM, my Guide Gilbert came the previous night itself, met me at my hotel and advised he is staying close by in a hotel, he will pick me up the next day at 7AM. Gilbert is hard working, kind and has a big heart. He taught me more Swahili in 2 days than what I learned on the mountains with my hiking guides, Gilbert was phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable. He understood what was important to me and went above and beyond to ensure that not only did I see but was left breathless.

I highly recommend Easy Travel as the staff Norah at office to guide are truly gens who welcomed me with open arms and I had an incredible experience with them.

Safari trip of a lifetime!
5/5

We did an incredible 8-day safari, tailored for the season and for where the animals would be by Easy Travel.

It was a truly life changing experience and I cannot say enough about Easy Travel and especially our guide, Hubert. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and a wonderful person to get to know over the week. We saw so many animals and he was key in spotting them, bringing us to the right spots at the right time, and helping us get the best views. We had such a fun time and would 100% recommend this trip, Easy Travel, and Hubert to any of our friends back home!

An incredible 8-day Tanzanian Safari
5/5

From the moment of first email contact with Voice in the front office to airport drop off, Easy Travel was just that. Our guide Ombeni picked us up at the airport and made it his mission to see that we had the best safari experience possible. We visited several parks including Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire. We saw lions, elephant, black rhino, leopards, cheetah and so much more. We were lucky enough to not only see the great migration, but to spend over two hours driving through it. Utterly amazing. Ombeni, our guide made sure that we enjoyed the quieter parts of the drives, pointing out birds, plants life, and teaching us about the many cultures of Tanzania. The comfort plus-style accommodations at each of the park lodges were beautiful and a good value for the cost. If you have any interest in going, do it, you will be amazed.
