Unforgetable Safari Experience!!
5/5

We just had the most wonderful safari experience in Tarangire NP, Manyara NP, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We saw so many amazing things that will be in our minds forever. All of this was possible because of this organisation. We would also like to mention our driver/guide Edwin Mboya. He told us so many amazing facts and stories, both animal, experience and country related. His knowledge and driving skills made the adventure even better than it already was. We have made a new friend for life. So: Asante sana, yangu mpendwa.

Easy Travel made this the trip of a lifetime!
5/5

My wife and I wanted to send our heartfelt thanks to Easy Travel for making our past safari the journey of a lifetime. The outstanding level of care we received from our safari consultant, Chislon and our driver/guide, Benedict, exemplify the remarkable company Easy Travel is. Chislon’s and Benedict’s hospitality showed us a different kind of Tanzanian warmth that we would return for in a heartbeat. We came back with so many stories and experiences that we will always treasure for the rest of our lives.

From the very start, Chislon’s prompt communication and flexibility in helping us plan our itinerary gave us the assurance we needed to book our trip. There are literally HUNDREDS of tour companies to choose from so we did our due diligence by researching them and compared each across an Excel spreadsheet (It’s my inner nerd, I work as an analyst). Our careful research paid off because we found that the value Easy Travel offers and their commitment to customer service is unparalleled.

Our adventure first brought us to Tarangire National Park, where a curious baby elephant playfully danced in front of our jeep as her family grazed all around us. Since it was wet season, the grass was high and we thought it would be impossible to spot any animals. To our amazement, Benedict still managed to spot a lion’s tail wagging through the tall grasses off in the distance, and that’s when we knew we had one of the best in the business. Benedict continued to amaze us throughout our trip with his eagle eyes, especially when he spotted a black rhino that was camouflaged by dried mud and when he stopped the jeep while driving up Ngorongoro Crater to point out a vervet monkey observing us from a tree. He was simply amazing.

As we traveled to the Serengeti, Chislon was able to upgrade us to the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel for our honeymoon. At the Four Seasons, we were amazed see a baby leopard, a dozen elephants walking to a watering hole, as well as dozens of zebras and gazelles grazing on the plains, all from the balcony of our room! We even got to experience a close encounter with 3 baboons who managed to break into our room in an attempt to steal our chocolate covered granola bars. (I managed to chase them away with a pillow before the Maasai warriors showed up :)

In Serengeti National Park, Benedict delighted us by finding the following: lions mating (repeatedly!); 9 lionesses sleeping in a single tree; lions fighting off hyenas after killing a water buffalo; a cheetah on the prowl at sunset (along with a family of warthogs scurrying off just a few meters away); a hundred hippos conversing in a river; black backed jackals on the prowl; a tower of giraffes on the move and herds of elephants grazing on the plains and drinking at watering holes. Throughout it all, we appreciated the fact that Benedict shared his knowledge and observations to help us understand life on the Serengeti. For example, when he spotted an elephant amongst the herd with a short truck, he explained that it was most likely bitten off by a crocodile. Those observations would have been easy for us to miss without the help of Benedict.

In Ngorongoro, we were greeted by thousands of zebras, wildebeests and gazelles, and thanks to Benedict and his knowledge of animal behavior, we even got to witness a live kill. While driving, Benedict noticed that some of the zebras were all facing the same direction so he pulled over and grabbed his binoculars. Off in the distance, he spotted four lionesses with their cubs. He encouraged us to be patient and while we waited, he explained the relationship zebras and wildebeests have. As we watched through our binoculars, he explained that the two travel together because zebras have good eyesight, but a poor sense of smell whereas wildebeests have bad eyesight, but a good sense of smell. By traveling together, both herds are less vulnerable to predators. We then continued to watch as a wildebeest unwittingly galloped straight into the pack of lions and was killed within seconds, affirming that wildebeests really do have bad eyesight.

By the end of our trip, Benedict became more than just a driver and guide; he was a caring friend who even helped us mail postcards to Australia, Hong Kong, New York and California. Everyone received them even before they knew we returned home! The stories of his life, and his knowledge and appreciation of wildlife really helped give us insight into Tanzania that we could never get from reading a book. There is no way this experience would have been as rich without his guidance and care.

Even after our safari was over, Easy Travel’s staff continued to amaze us. After we became stranded at Kilimanjaro Airport, Chislon went above and beyond by sending a driver to pick us up and communicated with Kenya Airlines to get us a refund. He even called Cape Town, South Africa to help us reschedule our hotel and car rental. That commitment to service, even after our trip had officially ended, showed us how much Easy Travel truly cares about their customers, and that’s something that makes them stand out amongst the pack. :)

With a heart full of gratitude

Great organization and service by Easytravel
5/5

We booked our safari and Zanzibar trip with Matoke tours in Holland. The trip we got was far beyond our expectations and imagination. Our guide/driver Benedict took so greta care of us that we immediately felt welcome and home in Africa. He went out of his way to make sure we saw everything the Serengeti has to offer including a few live lion hunts, a cheeta kill, migrating wildebeest. a leopard and cub standing on a rock and an old male rasta lion. Five stars for Benedict, a young guide who knows all you want to know during your stay and who is very much fun to travel with and who works very hard to make sure you get your money's worth. Easy travel did a great job checking that we got the excellent service they are known for and that nothing could go wrong. Last but not least some praise for the Tortillis camp in Serengeti, a must place to stay over: great food especially considering the limitations and the most friendly team you will ever find. Super!

Another wonderful safari with ET!
5/5

Extremely pleased and completely satisfied that we had made another safari to Ngorongoro and Serengeti with ET and Hamdani as our excellent driver/ guide. Hamdani brought us to place where no our cars where to be seen and where we could enjoy wildlife peacefully. He has a nose, ears and eyes for nature and is very good/friendly with children. We were like a family and departed with a lot of more knowledge of wildlife behaviour. Saving up for another safari with ET and Hamdani!!!

An unforgettable experience beyond all expectations thanks to our guide Adreano
5/5

The trip was very well organised. From the day of arrival until our departure we were pampered. I have been travelling with my family and two children aged 9 and 11. Adreano did do everything to make sure we saw all that there is to be seen. He is a very good and safe driver and very knowledgeable on all the species. If I would have the money I would go again tomorrow.

Experience of a lifetime
5/5

Traveling with Easy Travel is such a breeze! My sisters and I went on a safari trip to Serengeti and ngorongoro just last week and we had the most fun. The trip was filled with adventure, excitement and expectations that Easy Travel did not fail to meet. From our arrival to our driver to our game drives and our departure.
Our driver for the trip was sent to receive us at the airport, and that gave us good time to get acquainted to each other before we actually went on the safari. Adrian is very well versed and knowledgeable about everything around Arusha and the game parks. We definitely did learn quite a bit from him.
Before we left for our safari, Musaddiq, GM for Easy Travel gave us a very detailed briefing of what we should expect, what we should be ready for, how we should dress, what we should take and etc. He was very particular that we should know every possible thing we can!
Then comes the actual safari! We were put up at their Serengeti Tortilis Camp and that was an experience of a lifetime! They have semi-luxury tents in the heart of central Serengeti with all of the basic amenities you would get in a hotel. THAT, went over and beyond our expectations. At nights, you could hear different animals around the area- from hyenas and Buffaloes to lions and elephants. It was very exciting for us to experience that and we can never forget it.
At ngorongoro we stayed at the rim of the crater, which was also again very beautiful and peaceful.
Adrian would always update us at the end of every day as to what the plan was for the next day. I must say, he is very efficient, keeps his car spotless and makes sure his guests are always comfortable and having the best of times. He also made sure we saw all the animals we wanted to see.
I would definitely recommend Easy Travel to anyone going on safari. It is your one stop for all your needs, and they go the extra mile to keep all their customers happy. Thank you for such a valuable experience and keep doing the amazing work Easy Travel. I am sure to travel with you again!

The perfect safari experience thanks to Easy Travel!!
5/5

I'm not normally one to write reviews but the level of service Easy Travel provided on our recent trip is something that needs to praised.

We had been planning our safari holiday for a number of years and eventually decided to go for it. We started by getting quotes from UK operators but were being provided quotes way out of our price range so we decided to try some local operators. With a little bit of help from previous Trip Advisor reviews we sent off for quotes from a couple of highly rated operators. The prices from local operators in Tanzania blew the UK quotes out of the water. We decided to go with Easy Travel and it was the best decision we ever made.

From the initial point of contact Caudence helped us build up our custom built itinerary in a friendly but professional manor. We exchanged numerous emails where Caudence would provide various quotes on the many different lodges and camps in the various different parks of Tanzania. Nothing was ever too much and every e-mail was dealt with quickly. Finally we settled on an 8 day itinerary including Lake Manyara, Central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire completely custom built to include the lodges/camps we wanted.

Online payment by credit card was simple and we always received invoices and payment confirmations.

We can't praise Caudence enough for help organising our trip, from the initial contact right to the end of the trip everything ran so smoothly.

However, let's face it, it's the actual trip that really counts.

But yet again Easy Travel delivered a trip that was way beyond our wildest dreams and surpassed all our expectations!!

As promised we were collected from the airport and taken to our first night accommodation to get some much needed rest from the long flight and the following morning we were met by our guide for the week to set off on our safari.

Richard, our guide, was amazing. He made the trip the incredible experience it was. He was extremely knowledgeable (not quite sure how he remember the names of all those birds) but most of all his friendly approach made us feel completely at ease and able to ask any question about the animals, birds and Tanzanian life!! We learnt so much from Richard.

As we had booked the private safari, we had the luxury of being able to dictate how long we stayed and watched certain animals without ever feeling rushed.

Richard seemed to have a knack of finding the things we wanted to see and within only 4 days we'd ticked off the Big 5 (even finding a mother and baby Rhino in the trees in Northern Serengeti). By the end of the week we'd experienced so many amazing things but the highlights had to be the thousands of wildebeest crossing the River Mara and the fascinating sight of watching a pride of lions feasting on a Eland close to our camp. One thing Richard taught us is patience is the key, so while other jeeps moved on, we waited and were left alone to see the 2 lions initially eating to be joined by 7 others from the pride. Lesson learnt!!

Every day we saw new amazing things and having an incredible guide is the key.

The only bad thing I have to say about the experience is that it had to end!! The whole experience from start to finish was something we will never ever forget and we have to thank Richard, Caudence and the Easy Travel team for that.

I've read many other Easy Travel reviews with similar glowing review of the guides and staff and that can't be a co-incidence so if you're looking to book a safari in Tanzania there is only one option as far as we are concerned.

We will be back. Thanks again!!
