very professional
We were in a 4 days safari and it was unbelievable: saw lots of animals , met new great people and had a great time in the camping area (very good accomodation, camping fire in the evenings). The guide was very friendly and gave us lot of information about animals, vegetation, history of the country etc. Kennedy was always keeping us ip to date and arranged everything at our convenience.

Fantastic experience, well organised and expertly delivered. Highly recommended
Absolutely brilliant and fantastically delivered.
Our tour started in Nairobi, we (my girlfriend and I) arrived into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport late in the evening. Mr Kennedy called as soon as we had landed to ensure we had arrived safely. This was typical of Mr Kennedy up to this point, his interactions with us since the first inquiry had been nothing but professional, welcoming and fun.
Mr Kennedy had arranged a night in the Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel, which is listed as 3-Star but we found it offered more than the 3-Star hotels we have stayed at in the past. We arrived late and had arranged to meet Mr Kennedy at 0830 the next day, so we didn't get any time to enjoy the hotel, but breakfast was great.
Mr Kennedy personally met us in the morning and helped us with our luggage to the van, which would become our carriage for the next 5 days. Mr Kennedy introduced us to Kennedy (yes, two Kennedy's) our driver and guide for the trip. Kennedy was equally as welcoming and shared the big Kenyan smile of Mr Kennedy. After a brief chat and overview of our days to come, Mr Kennedy bid us farewell and off we went to Amboseli, with our new Mr Kennedy.
The journey to Amboseli National Park is roughly 150km, with 22km of dirt track, otherwise known as an "African Massage". The journey was comfortable and Kennedy ensured we stopped enough. Throughout the journey, Kennedy chatted and gave interesting facts about Kenya. Our vehicle was fit for purpose and comfortable. It was like a small mini-bus with a roof which raised high to allow you to stand up and have a full 360 view.
We arrived at Kibo Safari Park in the early afternoon with plenty of time to check in and get ready for an afternoon safari. We were offered 3 accommodation options, budget, luxury and premium. We opted for Kibo under the luxury category. In fact, Mr Kennedy offered us a free upgrade to the Premium accommodation, but we had our hearts set on Kibo as they accommodation was luxury outdoor tents, with a real safari feel to it. Kibo's setting is in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, with Kibo being the name if her highest peak. This isn't the forum to review Kibo, but I will say the accommodation, staff, food, everything was perfect.
That afternoon, and for the next 3 days, Kennedy took us in Amboseli National Park, a short 5 minute drive from Kibo. Safari is about luck as much as it is about knowledge. Kennedy drew on both to get us in eyesight of everything we'd come to see. Over the 4 days, we saw Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos, Hyenas, Monkeys, Pumbas (Warthogs), Buffalo, Wildebeast, a distant Rhino and Lions! Along with a huge variety of birds.
Kennedy's knowledge of the wildlife of Amboseli is outstanding. There was not a bird nor an animal that he did not know of, giving interesting facts and helping us take as many photos as we wanted.
Our routine was up at 7am, breakfast for 8am, out to the park for 9am. We'd stay in the park until around 1pm before returning for lunch. By 3pm we were back out until sunset.
Kennedy was very accommodation. One afternoon, instead of our usual afternoon safari, we fancied a trip to the local village, where there was a market and place to buy some groceries. Kennedy was more than happy to take us, show us around and ensured we got what we needed.
All in all, our trip to Kenya was fantastic and it was made so by AfricanChallengeSafaris. Highly recommended and great fun.

Definitly the best choice! Great trip
We contacted few suppliers for our Kenya safari trip and eventually decided with Kennedy, mostly because he replies super fast and always answer my questions. It turns out to be a very very good decision :)
We had 7 amazing days with Lawi, he brought us to the best parts of the park. We saw so many animals, especially the big ones. He is also very flexible and hard working. Many times other new drivers needs to follow our car to see animals. Lawi is definitly one of the most experienced guides.
Even before the trip ends, many of us already decided to return one day. there are so many to see here. Would recommend Kennedy for sure.

Tailored to each client's needs and wants like they read your mind
Mr Kennedy is available 24/7..he responds to emails immediately. He helped and guided us very well. Mara Sopa was just beautiful and was beyond our expectations. Since went during the peak season we saw all the big five..saw lioness with her cubs and Cheetahs eating their catch and masai River crossing was epic and was worth the 1hr wait. Our driver Joseph was the best. It was a lifetime experience for us and a game meat at carnivore is must on ur way back in Nairobi.
Mount Kenya Expedition
Kennedy the tour operator was professional and quick to communicate details of the trip, via WhatsApp and email. The trip to Mount Kenya was very enjoyable. The transportation from Nairobi to Mount Kenya National Park is by public bus in Kenya. Jimmy the tour guide and the porters, cook, etc. that accompanied us were helpful and good company. It was a camping trip and the food was delicious and nourishing after long days of hiking. The tents and sleeping mats are basic, so if you require something more comfortable pack that. They encouraged each of us to go to the summit (Point Lenana) and went out of their way to take care of us.
