Amazing
What a great trips we have had with African Bush Lovers.
Both the trip to Victoria Falls and the boat trip on the Chobe River. Kathie was a great guide to the falls and SK was fantastic on the boat trip. He knows a lot to tell and we were lucky enough to see 2 fighting hippos.
Letso responds almost immediately to all my questions via email. In short, African Bushlovers makes an excursion that little bit more special

Always amazing, a great experience in the Okavango Delta with the African Bush Lovers team!
Our second camping safari with African Bush Lovers was as amazing as the first.
Stanza, Joel and their team are fantastic!
Joel is an awesome guide with great knowledge and patience, he knows how to read what's happening in the bush, ensuring you benefit by witnessing great sightings and learning more about the behaviour of wildlife.
Moffat is an awesome camp cook, Simba, Ronnie and Boyisi are very attentive and make camp life great. They also apprecite being included in a good sing along around the campfire!
The tents are great and the team do everything in their power to ensure you will have a magical bush experience.
We cant recommend them more highly, bring your friends and family along to enjoy the true African safari experience.

Just Amazing!!!!
We went for 20 days camping in the bush. Difficult to describe how this experience was.
So many animals, differents landscapes. The most enjoyable I think still is the quality of the guide and all the team.
Everyday has been a new day for learning more about animal's way of life, plants etc.
All the team was so friendly and professional.
Meals accomodation, everything was fine according to the fact you are in the middle of nowhere. Big tent with shower and toilet, tasty meals.....
We have just finished our trip but we already miss all of you...

Amazing experience with fantastic guides
I couldn't recommend African Bush Lovers more highly. We did three trips with them (boat cruise, game drive and Victoria Falls) and it was excellent value for money. The guides were flexible, friendly and knowledgeable. The overall experience was great and they knew where to go to get to see all of the animals you could possibly want to see. Compared to the other operators we saw, this felt like we received a much more personal service, which added to the experience. I would highly recommend using African Bush Lovers for your trips.

Superb, professional service. Highly recommended.
My friend and I did three activities over 2 days. These included the Victoria Falls day trip, morning Game Drive and an afternoon Sunset Cruise. I found the guides to be professional, knowledgeable, competent and extremely helpful. All activities we did were amazing and couldn’t recommend them enough. Victoria Falls was beautiful and we saw lots of animals on the Game Drive and Sunset Cruise.
Our guide, got information where the Lions were on the Game Drive, so kindly extended our tour so we could see them. I would highly recommend these experiences to anyone as the guides and tours are fantastic. Thank you for making our trip to Botswana so amazing.

Fantastic and very competent
In August 2022 my wife and I traveled over 4000 km between Namibia and Botswana together with Stanza and his collaborators. We saw amazing things, from fantastic landscapes to wild animals (lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, etc.).
Stanza proved to be an exceptional person, very competent and in love with his Africa. We thank him for all the beautiful emotions he made us live. Congratulations to the whole team. We hope to see you again soon. A big hug, Elma and Fabio from Switzerland.

Friendly, Helpful, Hospitable, Knowledgeable and Accommodating.
We stayed at the African Bush Lovers Hide Inn Camp in Maun for a month in total. It became our home. We didn't plan to stay that long! The hosts Joel and KP were just awesome. Joel runs the tours around Maun, excellent! Stanza runs the tours round Kasane, also excellent! The boat ride in Chobe is one of the highlights of Africa. The Moremi trip is awesome. How do they know where the animals are!
I've snipped a bit below from our Instagram as KP kept making us food!
Our Instagram shows the quality of food you will get in camp. We had a few meals there all traditional and all lovely. Taste of Botswana. Absolutely!
I've not linked our page as I don't know if it's allowed but I'm happy to just say look for overlandbirds.

Tswii (root of the blue waterlily) mixed with beef and served with morogo (African spinach).
Nelly tasted in its raw form and said it tasted like "river" but when cooked it took on the flavour of the meat.
As you can imagine the collection of this is a dangerous job in the crocodile infested rivers of Botswana. For a first hand account into the collection search for tswii food and there is an article on www.mmegi.bw
Thanks to KP and Joel, Stanza (African Bush Lovers) for introducing us to Tswii and thanks to KP for preparing us another lovely traditional Botswanan meal at their camp in Maun. The camp can be found on the iOverlander app.
