THE most fabulous tour ever!!!
I cannot praise Debra and her staff enough. Our tour was prepared just for my wife and me (as we went alone). Every step was accounted for. We had help at every airport, were met on time by a very professional staff, and at our destinations, we had absolutely super guides who made the trip effortless. Debra really knew what we wanted from our tour, and she had everything planned perfectly. Her tour suggestions were right on target, and we simply had the best time ever. Also, due to a family death, we had to leave 1 day early, and the staff helped us change our arrangements last minute without any hassle. Just the very best!

Exceptional Service For an Unforgettable Trip!
This was a bucket-list trip. When we decided to take the plunge, we talked to friends who had done such a trip. Roar Africa got rave reviews, and we liked the fact that they would be making all arrangement themselves, rather than subcontracting that.
They worked well with us to find a trip that met our budget. And they did an absolutely fabulous job of setting it up, choosing which camps for us to go to, having people help us with all airport transfers (and there were a LOT of them on this trip, and generally answering questions along the way.
It's an expensive trip, but you get what you pay for. If you can afford to go with them do it!
This vacation to Africa was even more perfect than I had imagined!
It has been several weeks since I returned from my trip of a life-time. Almost every day since my return, I have shared my experiences and pictures with friends and family. They are amazed by the beauty of the country, the incredible accommodations we were provided, and my enthusiasm about every aspect of my trip. From our first contact with ROAR AFRICA, (Merritt) until the day we headed home, wonderful staff "held our hand" every step of the way. The skill of the guides allowed us to see sites that most people see only in pictures or a zoo. I felt the warmth of every staff member and believe each of them personally wanted to make my trip even better than I expected.

Great trip and stress free
Had an amazing experience in africa. It was a well designed and stress-free trip. No problems at all. Lodging were excellent and transportation was easy. Roar was there to help us skip lines and get through the airport easier. Lodging managers know the travel specialists by name because they visit the routes and places every so often.

Spectacular South Africa Honeymoon
We were blown away by ROAR Africa. The pre-trip communication for our honeymoon trip to South Africa was outstanding and included a custom app that included our itinerary and helpful information, such as tipping guidelines, clothing recommendations, etc. We were met at the Johannesburg airport and whisked through passport control (while watching others stand in queue). The Roar Africa guide in Cape Town became a good friend. The resorts - Cape View Clifton in Cape Town; La Residence in Wine Country and Mikanyi Private Game Reserve in greater Kruger were all totally over the top. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ROAR Africa to anyone contemplating a luxury trip to Africa.

Customized service, very detailed oriented.
This was our second trip with Roar Africa. We were so impressed with the level of service we received on both trips. The trip was planned according to our desires and needs. We were met at every stage of the trip by friendly and knowledgeable guides and drivers. On the most recent trip to Kenya, it was very important to me to spend at least a night at the Giraffe Manor and private time at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Both were arranged and they made a wonderful trip even better. We had a personal relationship with one of their agents, Gina Ferguson, who was always available and promptly answered questions by email. We had a long zoom meeting with her about a week before we left , to go over the trip in detail. Our arrival to Nairobi was facilitated by someone who met us as soon as we were off the plane, got us through the entry process and turned us over to a guide and driver. We were never alone. More importantly, when we arrived at the airport for departure, the airport was very crowded and hectic. There was a facilitator on this end who managed to bypass a very long process and get us to the lounge quickly. The lodges we stayed in were great- exactly what we wanted. The internal flights we took all went off without a problem. I carried extra weight with photography equipment and that was handled before we arrived so that there would not be any problems. I hope we have have a 3rd trip to Africa in our future and would not hesitate to use Roar.
