Great Tour, wonderful driver
We had a great tour with David. Chris, the organizer was forthcoming and easy to communicate with during the organization phase- we organized about 4 days in advance. David, our driver was very knowledgeable and lovely, we had a great time; We also felt very safe during the entire trip in terms of driving! Serena lodge as accomodation very much recommended, we would‘ve loved to stay 1-2 more nights there. The safari itself was also great, we were lucky to see lions hunting and pretty much every other animal as well; David said we were lucky and also just in the right season. Would definitely recommend

They are honest and professional, and send a very good tour guide for us
I had a last minute booking (for an Amboseli tour on the next day) with SunUp and the booking experience was quite pleasant. They were very honest and transparent about the price and was very patient when I go back and forth with my plans. They can customize our need and pick up us at Namanga border and sent us back to Nairobi after the safari. The tour guide they sent us was a very good guy too, they have a very very clean 4x4 Landcruiser vehicle. The tour guide listens to our need and was very friendly and professional. Very good experience with them.

Best experience I ever had
You haven’t truly experienced a safari until you’ve been to Africa, and if you do it with SunUp Adventures, it’s even better!
My boyfriend and I spent an amazing summer holiday in Kenya and decided to rely on SunUp Adventures. We reached out to Chris, who helped us refine the itinerary we wanted. Thanks to his professionalism, we had one of the best trips of our lives. We opted for a Land Rover jeep instead of other options, which enhanced our experience by providing a broader view during the game drives.
Our safari was a 4-day journey, and during this trip, Chris arranged beautiful accommodations for us. Every room, tent, and lodge felt like home, and the food was delightful! Communication with Chris was smooth and very reassuring. And last but not least, Chris provided us with one of the best drivers we’ve ever had: David! Our hero-driver made sure we experienced the safari in the best way possible. You could truly feel his passion for nature and his beautiful country.
David was always on point, sharing knowledge, tips, and interesting facts with us, which was truly magical! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We felt extremely comfortable, safe, and well taken care of.
Now that we’re back to our everyday lives, we still reminisce about this incredible journey from Nairobi to Watamu, passing through Amboseli (our favorite park) and continuing to Tsavo, which was majestic for its vast expanse, though a bit too wide if you want to see a lot of animals.
With our journey now complete, we wish we could go back in time to relive the same experiences we had a few weeks ago. And without a doubt, we would choose to do it all over again with SunUp Adventures!

Customized and efficient service.
SunUp planned my Safari to Masai Mara. The owner Chris was great to work with during the planning process. We loved our camp Illkeliani, the sunrise hot air balloon and visit to a cultural village. Our driver Q was awesome. He had so much knowledge of the game lands and animals. He also managed to find all 5 of the Big Five animals during our game drive. Awesome company; reliable, great communication and amazing experience!

Professional, safe, enjoyable
We had a 3-day safari in Amboseli, 2 persons.
Booking: extremely fast in responding, giving all details and informations. They organize every detail, no need to worry. After the payment we received the voucher of the lodge reservation, and tha guide was waiting for us at the arrivals at the airport: everything was very smooth.
Safari: our guide, Stephen, was extremely professional, helpful and polite, and made everything smooth and pleasant. He gave us a lot of knowledge on nature facts, with a focus on our specific interests. He showed to be really expert in navigating the park, knowing how to catch the major highlights of the day, thanks to his knowledge of the place characteristics and of animal behaviours.
Logistics: The vehicle was properly prepared, clean and very comfortable. The guide was careful in driving, and we felt safe during all the journey. Timing was perfectly organized, and we felt that the guide cared for us and was really willing to make us enjoying the experience.
In summary: High quality, higly recommended.
