Absolute fabulous time
There were 4 of us from Canada and all of us loved our safari... and especially our guide, Xavier. I had met Xavier in 2011 when 3 of us went on safari and he was our guide. We've all reminded in contact with him because of becoming good friends. He goes far above to make sure that his clients have the best safari they can have. We saw so many animals that Xavier seems of have an innate sense of where the animals may be; we had SO many laughs and great times. We had such a great time that we're (12 of us this time) are going on safari with him again in 2018.
Would very highly recommend Xavier and Wild Trails Safaris... the perfect driver/guide.

Superb
We had an excellent trip from start to finish. Xavier picked us up promptly at our accommodation in Entebbe and transported us to QENP with a brief stop for chicken takeaway lunch!
Our accommodation at Marafiki lodge was first class. Excellent rooms, hot showers and really good food. The views were awesome!
The safaris themselves were absolutely first class. Xavier is a brilliant guide, a safe driver, thoroughly knowledgable and very good fun! He ensured we had the best opportunity possible of seeing all the predators. We weren't disappointed.
Xavier dropped us at our hotel in Kampala via a lovely stop for lunch at the Igongo cultural centre.
I would totally recommend using Xavier for an East African Safari. You're in good hands!

Xavier was absolutely incredible and I truly could not have asked for a better guide for our safari!
The trip was even better than I could have remembered. Xavier was great at putting us in the right places at the right times to see the most wildlife as possible. We were able to stay as long in one spot or as little as we liked. I have wanted to come back to Africa every day since I left. I can't wait for my next trip and to book through Xavier and Wild Trails Safaris. The other plus of having such a friendly guy as your guide is that the other guides love him so they let him know where the animals were located and things like that. It especially came in handy during the gorilla trek where Xavier got us with the guides that took us to the closest group of gorillas (once you do it you'll appreciate this).

Great trip through south-west of Uganda
Begin april we had a wonderfull safari of 6 day's through the south west of Uganda. We visited Lake Mburo NP, Queen Elizabeth NP and Bwindi Impenetrable NP. Xavier for Wild Trails Safaris did a great job planning the whole trip. He selected beautiful accommodations in which we had the real safari experience. Also the permits for the parks and the gorilla safari were arranged bij Xavier. Al of this contributed to a carefree trip. Everything was organized so the only thing we had to do was enjoy the marvelous environment.
In his 4x4 van we could come everywhere, so we did see many animals. Xaviers knowledge of the nature and his animals (especially the birds) was great. He is very happy to tell about this. So we learn a lot. Furthermore, Xavier is a very nice person to travel with.
So if you are planning to have a safari trip in Uganda, I recommend you to get in to touch with Wild Trains Safari. Xavier will arrange a beautiful experience!
