Back from 4 incredible days in the savannah!
The experience with Suricata Safari was perfect from pick up at the airport to the chef's excellent cuisine right in the middle of the national parks. We leave with stars in our eyes, and animals in our heads!! A huge thank you again to our guide Mandela for making this safari an unforgettable memory for us.
If you don't know who to choose for your safari, go for it! You will not be disappointed!

Amazing safari experience with good food and nice people
5/5

We have had an amazing safari experience with Suricata. We saw lots of animals, from which a lot from real close. There were for example elephants (a lot off), lions, baboons, giraffes and buffalo’s within meters from the jeep.

Our guide Mandela was a very nice and relaxed man who knows so much interesting facts about all the animals and the parks. He tries hard to find the places where the animals are located and took good care of us.

The food during the trip was very good. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner was different from each other and very tastefull. The chef was so kind and eager to help.

Camping on the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater was incredible. On the Serengeti plains during the night you can hear the lions roaring. During breakfast a Hyena walked by the camp. In the Ngorongoro camp we were greeted by a big elephant on arrival, which stayed calmly in the camp grazing. In the morning there were nine giraffes walking around the camp.

We would recommend Suricata to everyone! The price of the 5 day camping safari is worth every penny of the experience. Also, the contact with all of the Suricata employees is good and clear.

The best travel in my life
5/5

It was a wonderful experience that I could never have had in Japan.
The email communication to Tanzania was quick to reply and smooth. When I emailed them, they sent me a pamphlet, which included information about the tour, what to bring, and the price of tips. They are very kind, but the only thing is that it was difficult to pay by credit card, so we had to send money transfer from our bank.
Also, the day we arrived in Tanzania, we did not have a plan, but Allie introduced us to a tour that take us to local markets, restaurants and teach us about the history. We had a good time at the tour.
We were also able to arrange airport transfers and hotels, so basically we had nothing else to prepare.
We also had trouble dealing with refunds for our flight from Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar, but they contacted the airline several times.

The lodge we stayed during our safari was beautiful and wonderful. The lodge is surrounded by nature and we saw animals several times.
Hot water and mineral water were provided and all dinner are course meals, traditional or western style. All the food was very tasty, and they of course checked our allergies in advance.

We were especially satisfied with the service at Srikata Boma Lodge. When we told them this is our honeymoon, we were welcomed by all staff with fruits and a great celebration. The rooms were in the Maasai ethnic style, with a view of Lake Manyara from every room, and all the employees were very friendly, which is the highest level of hospitality I have ever experienced in Japan.
The safari was greater than I expected. There were no artifacts and magnificent nature spread as far as the I could see. We were able to see many animals as we drove around by the safari car. Although it was the rainy season, we were able to see Big 5 without leopards, as well as herds of gnus, buffalo, and zebras. Our guide, Izaquiel said there are about 3 million animals in one herd. We enjoyed the guide who explained not only about the animals' ecology but also about the climate and culture of Tanzania. It was the first time for me to have dinner with a guide, but it was a very valuable experience for me as I am not good at English and it was easy for me to ask questions.
I was able to experience the great 5 days safari and it was a refreshing experience.
If you want to experience safari, wilderness and comfortable tour, I would recommend this tour.

We were warmly welcomed at the airport by Daniel and John. We had great fun on the drive to Arusha and they made us feel welcome. As it was already very late and we did not have dinner yet, we went to eat at a local restaurant. It was a fantastic start to our trip.
We spent the night at the Senetor Hotel. There, too, the staff were very accommodating. There was local breakfast, which was very tasty. We chose a 3-day safari to Ngorogoro and Serengeti National Park. Everything was perfectly organised and James, our driver, was always good for a laugh. The camping was well worth the experience and the food by Tito was excellent. We were driven to the airport again the day after the safari. In addition, communication with Ally was also straightforward. The team gave their best for an unforgettable experience. We would choose Suricara Safari again for a trip and can recommend this provider warmly. Thanks Suricata-Team for the experience we got.

Amazing experience, perfect organisation, friends and knowledgeable guide
5/5

In short: I couldn't recommend more this tour and this company. This was our honeymoon and everything was like a dream, we enjoyed every minute of it.
Now some more details to help you choose: Finding a safari is hard, we had hundreds of options, and I'm really happy we found Suricata. The communication through WhatsApp with Hilary before booking was great, he answered all our questions really patiently (and we had many as it was our first time in Africa). We took the mid-range version, which to be honest when we saw the accommodations looked more like luxurious to me, all the places we stayed were beautiful. Of course it's a question of budget, but if you can afford it I would recommend the mid-range option, because safari are exhausting, and slipping in a real bed in a beautiful tent or bungalow at the end of the day is magical. The tour was perfectly organised, from the pick up to the airport, the first night of hotel in Arusha, to the briefing each morning and evening to agree on times and what was next, the communication from every member of the staff was just perfect. Our guide was really friendly, knowledgeable of the parks and animals, and a really good and safe driver. He was always finding the best spot to see perfectly all animals, and we saw them all!
The food at lunch is also really tasty and always plenty. The company has their own cook and one is coming with you to prepare 5-6 different pots for the car (we were 6 in the car so you can imagine it's a lot). So you will always have plenty and tasty food. For the morning and evening it will depend of the range you chose. If you confirm budget I think you also eat this food, which is really good, but we went for mid-range so we got the food from the accomodation, which to be honest could be Michelin restaurant.
For the payment it went really smoothly, we paid 20% upfront my card online (a bit scary since we didn't know anything at the time but don't worry everything went well with them) and the rest in cash when arriving, so you will need to change dollars.
To summarise, just go for it, you won't regret it, and I know the mid-range might seem like a lot of money, but it's great value when you live it, and not that expensive for what it is and the beauty of the parks and accommodations.

Brazilians in Tanzania
5/5

My husband and I went to Tanzania for our honeymoon, it was our dream for a long time to go on a safari and because it was such a special trip, it took us a long time to choose the company to go on the safari, because in Brazil few people travel to Tanzania and even the travel agencies I talked to didn't make packages here. After a lot of research, I found Suricata Safaris through the SafariBookings website, which is the most recommended website for choosing a safari company, where you can find packages and company reputations, it is all in English, but I highly recommend using it. it. I contacted Suricata and it was the company that I found with the best cost x benefit, their package is super complete, they pick you up at the airport, take you to the hotel to sleep in Arusha and on the way back from the safari the same thing, during the safari they fulfilled the script exactly as they had said and it was a wonderful experience, we took the camping package, so obviously we slept in tents and imagined what the camps would be like, but it was all very nice, they are very organized and the food was really very good, local food , they eat a lot of vegetables, chicken and fish and we love it. Our guide was Mandela and he was really nice, he explained everything about the animals and the place. If you go, don't miss the Seringeti park, it's wonderful, it was my favorite. In Ngorongoro it is really cold, the climate changes completely, take jackets and warm clothes, even if it is just one day. We loved the experience and we certainly recommend Suricata Safaris to everyone who wants to live this adventure in the middle of nature.
