Professional and fun, very knowledgeable and always prepared.
5/5

This camping safari was more than I would ever dream of for satisfaction. Starting with the tour compant representative, Mr. T, he was punctual and kind which was refreshing after a ling flight. There can never be enough said for a representative that is furnished with all the details and prepared to answer all questions.
My tour guide Damien, was great. He was friendly, warm, and made me feel like a local from the first minute of the tour. Damien provided so much detail that there was no need for questions. Each step of the way, we were update and informed of the next step. This was most helpful for a new safari camper like myself as I was able to prepare for each day in advance. I can't imagine this adventure without him and wish I could request him on future adventures.
We also had a private chef on safari, Chef Tito. Please understand this is the unique experience and Chef Tito is a master of spices and seasonings. He prepares 3 meals a day that each rivals the last to make you forgot this is a budget camping experience. I did not have plans to enjoy 'camping food' but I was completely wrong. His food made the trip!
I cannot rave enough about this company's dedication. They are truly top notch for someone who has been on safari 4 times prior. I will return with family and friends.

Beyond the safari, there's a wonderful staff
5/5

The experience made with Suricata Safaris is one of a kind. On this adventure we were lucky enough to have Mandela, an exceptional guide, serious, respectful, cultured, always ready to take care of his group. There are no words to thank him for his help and work. The safari is perfectly organized: the time spent in the parks, the breaks to eat and go to the bathroom, the quality of the structures that will welcome you for the night, the food you will eat, the safety they will transmit to you. For those who want to experience a unique adventure, in contact with nature and the authenticity of the Savannah, I can only recommend traveling with Suricata. Even the staff who will follow you in booking and informing about the safari deserves a mention, they are all very polite and kind. Best tour operator in the area.

Unforgettable moments with Suricata Safari
5/5

We had a perfect 3 day Safari Tour to Serengeti ans Ngorongoro Nationalpark with Suricata Safari. From the beginning the organisation and communication with the staff was easy and worked perfectly. They put together a group of very nice international young tourists and our guide Golden and the chef Moussa did outstanding jobs. We will never forget these amazing days in the beautiful wildlife of Tanzania thanks to the great trip with Suricata!

An Unforgettable Safari Adventure with Suricata in Tanzania
5/5

I recently embarked on a three-day safari trip with Suricata Company to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, and I can confidently say it was an experience of a lifetime. From the awe-inspiring landscapes to the exceptional service provided by Suricata, every aspect of this safari surpassed my expectations.

Our tour guide, Golden, was an absolute gem. His extensive knowledge of the wildlife and the region made the safari truly captivating. Golden's passion for his work was evident in his storytelling and his ability to spot animals from a distance. He ensured that we had the best viewing spots for every wildlife encounter, allowing us to witness incredible moments, such as the Great Migration and intimate lion sightings. Golden's expertise made our safari truly unforgettable.

I must also mention Moussa, the talented chef who accompanied us on the trip. Despite the rugged wilderness, Moussa managed to prepare delicious and mouthwatering meals. From traditional Tanzanian dishes to international favorites, every meal was a delightful surprise. Moussa's ability to create such incredible food in such remote locations was truly impressive.

Aside from the outstanding guides and culinary delights, the group dynamics were fantastic. Our group consisted of six international tourists who started as strangers but quickly formed a bond over our shared love for adventure and wildlife. Suricata's attention to forming compatible groups ensured a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the safari. It was refreshing to meet like-minded individuals from different parts of the world and create lasting memories together.

The organization of the trip was impeccable. Suricata Company meticulously planned every detail, from transportation to the safari camps. Our accommodations in tents were comfortable and immersed us in the natural surroundings, enhancing the overall safari experience. The company's attention to detail and commitment to providing a seamless experience were evident in every aspect of the journey.

Lastly, I want to highlight Suricata Company's integrity and honesty. During the safari, I unfortunately lost my wallet, which contained a significant amount of money. However, the staff at Suricata went above and beyond to locate and return my wallet without any hassle. Their prompt action and reliability in handling such a situation showcased their professionalism and customer care.

In conclusion, my safari trip with Suricata Company to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater was an absolute dream come true. From the exceptional service of our tour guide Golden and the talented chef Moussa to the well-organized itinerary and the incredible wildlife encounters, every moment was truly remarkable. If you're seeking an unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania, I highly recommend choosing Suricata Company.

5/5

Thank you Suricata for a fantastic tour through Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorogoro Crater.
The accommodations were perfect:
Suricata’s own lodge (brand new) is a 5 star hotel
And the Angata tented lodges in Serengeti and Ngorogoro are perfect if you want to get a real Safari experience but enjoy comfort. (Bring warm clothes if you are staying at Ngorogoro during June/July, it’s freezing cold)

A special thanks to our guide Edgar, you are amazing!

"Silas and Salim were the perfect safari guides for our trip to Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti. They were both knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about wildlife. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a safe and enjoyable experience.

We saw all of the Big Five on our safari, including lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffaloes. Silas was an excellent wildlife spotter and he was able to find animals that we would have never seen on our own. He was also very knowledgeable about the animals and the parks. He told us interesting facts about the animals and their behavior.

Salim was an amazing chef. He prepared delicious meals using fresh, local ingredients. He also took into account our dietary restrictions. We never went hungry on our safari!

Both Silas and Salim were very friendly and accommodating. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. They were always happy to answer our questions and help us in any way they could.

Silas is a very patient and experienced guide. He was able to find animals that we would have never seen on our own, even when they were well-camouflaged.
Salim is a very creative and talented chef. He was able to prepare delicious meals using a variety of ingredients, even when we had specific dietary restrictions.
Both Silas and Salim are very passionate about wildlife conservation. They told us about the work that they do to protect the animals in the parks that we visited.
They are both very funny and charming people. They kept us entertained throughout the safari with their jokes and stories. We had an outstanding time on our safari with Silas and Salim.

We were also very impressed with the overall organization of our safari. Suricata Safaris took care of everything, from arranging our additional tours and accommodation to arranging our transfers and activities. We didn't have to worry about a thing, which made our trip even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Mr. T, Ally, and Hilary Chrispine.

Overall, we had an outstanding safari experience with Suricata Safaris. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safari in Tanzania."

Excellent organization and delivery of the trip of a lifetime
5/5

The trip exceeded all my highest expectations.

The guide Silas was very experienced and genuinely cared about us. He briefed us before and after every game drive and made sure to get us everywhere we wanted. In the Serengeti alone he got us 3 leopard sightings and a cheetah, in addition to the lions! One of the leopards left its tree and approached us carrying its kill right past our jeep! Then the next day we even got an up close viewing of a rhino in ngorongoro. He claims we were a very lucky group but a huge part of it is because he is so experienced and capable of making miracles happen.

The three parks were all amazing. The Serengeti was my favorite because it felt the most wild and remote. Truly deserves the prestige associated with it and I'm glad we got to be there for a full 24 hours and do two game drives. But Tarangire was also incredible. I didn't expect it to be so full of animals, right up close and personal. Zebras, elephants, and giraffes are some of the most majestic creatures on the planet.

Communicating through both email and WhatsApp was reliable, prompt, and easy. Great service, accommodating. Highly recommend.

The food cooked by our chef James was all amazing. A good variety over the four days and plenty of it in a buffet style. I usually ate second and third helpings.

I chose the budget camping option and would do it again in a heartbeat. Plenty comfortable and Zebras even ate grass right outside my tent one night. Highly recommend.

Suricata takes very good care of its travelers. They gave me the experience of a lifetime for my first safari and I'd gladly go with them again

Suricata was helpful, willing to answer questions, friendly, and organized.
5/5

We had a great time with Suricata Safari! We felt that this safari experience had all the things we wanted and was a good price. Suricata was helpful in answering questions before we booked and as we were preparing for the safari. The safari was well organized with who was sleeping where, the order we visited the parks, when we’d be picked up, food, and brief and debrief before and after.
We booked the safari to stay in tents. They provided sleeping bags and set up the tents. The camps were established and they were sure to tell us if there were animals etc we needed to be aware of and always told us to just call their name if we needed help. (The night in the Serengeti is the night you need to be most careful for animals but we had no issues.)
Our chef was great, we had yummy warm food for every meal. His meat dishes were especially delicious. He was also friendly and helpful.
Our guide, Silas, was wonderful. He was kind, patient and helpful. He provided information regarding the animals and environment yet wasn’t too long winded. We were very very lucky with all the animals we were able to see. Our guide knows the parks very well, it was almost like he was driving in his own neighborhood. He knows good spots where the different types of animals can typically be found (lion, hippo, hyena etc) and was also actively listening to the radio to know when and where some of the harder to find animals were sighted and quickly drive there. He helped ensure we all were enjoying and seemed to be having a good time as well.

Knowledgeable, knew the best spots, efficient, kind, super fun, very accommodating!
5/5

Sooo incredible! A life-changing experience!

The company - this is a good choice, we got lucky! They answered several questions beforehand. We even changed our plans last minute, messaged them the night before and they responded quickly, willing to accommodated us. Very kind people and very helpful!

Our guide Silas was amazing! He answered all our questions about the animals and park. He also knew the best spots to see animals. He was so kind and fun, he became a great friend! We saw everything - like 40 lions, including baby cubs, rhino, leopards, cheetah, hippos, giraffes, zebras, etc. Silas got us to all these places to watch and made sure we always had front row seats! 5 stars for him!

Our chef James was superb! It was some of the best food I ever had. There were always several options that satisfied all food preferences. He has a gift with cooking meat! And his pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had!! He was very patient when we were late to a few meals! Didn’t realize a budget safari would have such amazing food! 5 stars for him!

Things to note -
The vehicle: Of the 6 charging ports, only 3 of them worked. Also, the USB ports rarely worked, only if there was a plug. But I’m glad that there were international plugs on the vehicle so we could use our American plugs. Also, the vehicle was very comfy and every seat has a great view. Loved opening the roof and looking out from there too!

The campsites: they can get cold. Even though sleeping bags were provided, note that you should come prepared with some warm clothes (as well as cool clothes because they day is hot.) The Serengeti campsite is a little terrifying since animals are close. But the guide and park rangers were always checking that we were safe. The Ngorongoro crater campsite is beautiful! That’s the coldest place though. Also, sleeping pads are a little thin. Totally able to sleep, but if you need something thicker, maybe you’ll want to consider the hotel option (a little more expensive)

Also consider tips with the price. It’s just the custom, even with other tour companies. It was something I didn’t pay attention to at first.
