Professional and fun, very knowledgeable and always prepared.
This camping safari was more than I would ever dream of for satisfaction. Starting with the tour compant representative, Mr. T, he was punctual and kind which was refreshing after a ling flight. There can never be enough said for a representative that is furnished with all the details and prepared to answer all questions.
My tour guide Damien, was great. He was friendly, warm, and made me feel like a local from the first minute of the tour. Damien provided so much detail that there was no need for questions. Each step of the way, we were update and informed of the next step. This was most helpful for a new safari camper like myself as I was able to prepare for each day in advance. I can't imagine this adventure without him and wish I could request him on future adventures.
We also had a private chef on safari, Chef Tito. Please understand this is the unique experience and Chef Tito is a master of spices and seasonings. He prepares 3 meals a day that each rivals the last to make you forgot this is a budget camping experience. I did not have plans to enjoy 'camping food' but I was completely wrong. His food made the trip!
I cannot rave enough about this company's dedication. They are truly top notch for someone who has been on safari 4 times prior. I will return with family and friends.

Thorough and prompt communication
I recently embarked on an unforgettable safari adventure with Suricata Safaris, exploring the magnificent Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. This safari surpassed all expectations, immersing me in the raw beauty of these iconic Tanzanian destinations.
Suricata Safaris meticulously planned every detail, ensuring a seamless and awe-inspiring journey. As we entered the vast Serengeti, the undulating grasslands and towering acacia trees painted a picture of untamed wilderness. The knowledgeable guides from Suricata Safaris expertly led us through the rugged terrain, unveiling a world teeming with captivating wildlife.
The game drives in the Serengeti were a true highlight. Lions gracefully patrolling their territories, herds of elephants moving in majestic unity, and giraffes delicately grazing against the stunning backdrop of the African savannah. Suricata Safaris' guides shared their in-depth knowledge, allowing us to witness extraordinary moments and capture memories that will last a lifetime.
The journey continued to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descending into the crater's floor, we were greeted by a microcosm of diverse ecosystems. With Suricata Safaris, we witnessed the drama of predator-prey interactions and marveled at the abundance of wildlife thriving in this unique and enclosed habitat.
Suricata Safaris' commitment to sustainable tourism was evident throughout the entire experience. The accommodations provided a comfortable and eco-friendly retreat in the heart of the wilderness, allowing us to connect with nature without compromising on comfort. The attentive staff ensured our every need was met, adding a touch of luxury to our adventure.
Additionally, Suricata Safaris provided opportunities to engage with the local Maasai community, gaining insights into their rich traditions and way of life. It was a humbling experience that deepened our appreciation for the harmonious coexistence between humans and wildlife.
Throughout the safari, Suricata Safaris tantalized our taste buds with delectable cuisine. From traditional African dishes to international delicacies, each meal was a culinary delight. We savored gourmet dinners under starlit skies, recounting the day's encounters and forging connections with fellow travelers.
In conclusion, Suricata Safaris curated a truly exceptional safari experience, exploring the awe-inspiring Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Their knowledgeable guides, impeccable service, and commitment to conservation made this journey unforgettable. If you seek to immerse yourself in the breathtaking wonders of Tanzania's wilderness, Suricata Safaris is the perfect choice. Prepare to be mesmerized, inspired, and forever touched by the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater's natural grandeur.

Excellent service all round!
Seamless from start to finish. Email communications with Hilary were prompt and thorough. We were well looked after from pick up to drop off! Saw the big 5 and then some...then aplenty actually! Mr T, our guide Lewis, our chef Benjamin, all our tented/lodge accomodations. It was all perfect! Asante sana team Suricata for a great time all round. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Safari!
We had a great 3 days on safari. Our guide Ezekiel went out of his way to find the best spots to take photos. We had a great group and lots of fun - another highlight was being upgraded to Suricata Boma Lodge near Manyara Lakes. The lodge is brand new and really charming.

The Safari was a wonderful expierience
The Safari has been a wonderful experience. We were always picked up from the hotel on time and are drove to Ngorogo Crater on the first day, to Tarangiri on the second day and to Lake Manjara on the last day. Especially in the Ngorogo crater there were a lot of great animals to see. The most exciting moment was when a pair of lions came right next to our safari car. Our accommodation was the Suricata Boma Lodge (we were delighted to have been upgraded). Special praise must be given to our driver Ezekiel. He brought us safely to our destinations for three days, showed us the best spots to take photos and entertained us with his charming sense of humour. Also the food was great (full board) Suricata is really recommended.

Truly amazing, professional and fun
This safari trip was Amazing.I would really recommend suricata to everyone! I went with my friend and did a group safari. I would say the length of the safari trip was perfect and the safari trip was well organized by all people involved. The guide Cylus, was just amazing and although this safari trip is something he does repetedly he was excited and keen on geting us to see as much as possible. It was evident that he had a lot of interesting knowledge about the animals and he managed to get us to see the big5. We also had a chef - Tito - traveling with us and cooking food. He made delicious food and our camping experiance luxurious. Thank you very much Tito, we will try your recepies back home!
The only issue we encountered was some misunderstandings linked to the transfer to the airport, however that was solved in a professional way.
Thank you for everything guys - the watoto.

Best experience I have been through!
Wow! This experience I had the last 4 days with suricate safari has blown my mind! I felt so spoiled and lucky with the guide, chef and the group of people me and my friend ended up with! We chose a group safari with accommodation at the campsite, in which we ended up sleeping in tents in different parts of the parks we visited. This was the cheapest option compared to the housing in lodges which is more luxuries. However, as a first time camper, it was the best decision I made! Even if I was kinda scared sleeping in tents in the safari, my guide Silas and chef Tito were literally the best people I could have ended up with that were so assuring and fun to be around. Me and my friend who I came with, literally had the best time feeling SO spoiled by everybody.
Silas made my safari experience so memorable, and Tito “entertained” and fed us the best food ever for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day!
The only less good thing I can say about this experience is the miss communication that occurred with the transfer from and to the airport, which led to a lot of delay for the pickup. However, we were really grateful for Hilary that was incredibly fast at responding and resolving any issues we had.
If you plan to do a safari trip, I really recommend Suricata Safari and that you chose the camping accommodation. I think you will get the most out of your trip that way. (Also, if it’s possible, ask for Tito and Silas, that way you’ll 100% experience a great safari).
Thanks for everything!! ~ the watoto

An incredible experience, with great service, great people, and great sights.
When I first read the reviews for Suricata I didn’t think they could be true - over 1,000 5-star reviews just seemed impossible. After spending 5 days on safari which took us through Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Manyara, and seeing all of the big 5 as well as cheetah and lion cubs and a baby rhino, I understand. Our driver, Rocky, was amazing, funny, talkative and extremely knowledgeable, giving in-depth facts about Tanzania, the animals, and the parks, as well as answering every single question I had. The accommodation was also excellent, with every hotel or tent having a private bathroom and a large bed. The food prepared for us was great and the flexibility offered by Suricata was great (for example, my flight was early in the morning after the final day of safari, so Suricata booked a hotel room and a driver for no additional cost. The 5-day tour provides great value for money, and I especially recommend staying at the Boma lodge, the brand new hotel built by Suricata that rivals some of the best hotels I have stayed at with its private bungalows and great food. Overall, this has been an amazing experience and I highly recommend Suricata to anyone thinking of doing a safari.

Excellent service and value for money
We just completed a 5-day mid range group safari tour of 4 national parks in Tanzania (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara) with Suricata Safaris. The experience was amazing, more than we had dared to hope for!
Even before booking this tour the communication with Hilary was easy, and we were taken very good care of by our excellent guide Silas, chef Tito, Mr T who picked us up from the airport and Daniel who took us on a walking tour of Arusha the day we arrived.
Guide Silas was very friendly and shared us his extensive knowledge of the national parks flora and fauna. He rose to the challenge of showing us all Big 5 animals, and much more!
The accommodation at Serengeti and Ngorongoro Ang'ata tented lodges was excellent, we highly recommend! At night you could hear the animals and you really felt like on a safari, even though we didn't go camping. Accommodation at Suricata's own brand new Boma Lodge by Lake Manyara was luxurious. The huts, the pool, the restaurant and the bars were excellent, with a lot of attention paid to detail.
Thank You very much Suricata Safaris and our fantastic group for the experience of a lifetime!

Unforgettably superb experience from Suricata Safaris
I joined a 5-day group safari tour of four national parks (Serengeti, Ngorogoro, Lake Manyara, Tarangiri) with Suricata Safaris. The experience has been incredible. The guide Silas is highly experienced, and helped our group see all the major animal species each several times (including two rhino sightings!). Chef Tito cooked for us excellent Tanzanian lunches. The accommodations were superb, both at the tented 'Angata" lodges in Serengeti and Ngorogoro, and Suricata's own Boma Lodge at Lake Manyara. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the folks at Ngorogoro Angata Lodge had warmed up the bed with a hot water bottle while I was at dinner. Folks heard and saw hippos and buffalo going right up to their tents, but without danger (I missed these because I slept too soundly!). I highly recommend Suricata Safaris!
