Takes care of everything
Amazing trip, there are wonderful view, Rocky our guide knew where to go to show us the big five and plenty of other animals. Moussa cooked delicious meals for and there was always enough food for everybody. The team is always here to answer your question, and joyful. Back from 4 incredible days in the savannah!
The experience with Suricata Safari was perfect from pick up at the airport to the chef's excellent cuisine right in the middle of the national parks. We 1000% recommend Suricata Safaris. It is a very professional and accomodating agency and the whole team is very caring. We have seen the Big five and more thanks to the guide Rocky and his eagle eyes, who is a master of Tanzanian wildlife. Camping in the heart of the savannah and animals is absolutely amazing. The meals were delicious thanks to Moussa, the best cook in the world ! All the sides of the safari are perfectly handled by Mister T : he organized the delivery of our delayed luggages in the middle of the safari, he helped us to plan the next step of our trip in Tanzania... 1000 thanks to him ! In summary : we spent 5 wonderful days with the whole team, always in a good mood. We go back to France with our heads full of memories !

Amazing Safari experience
I joined the 5 day safari tour and it was amazing from start to finish. Booking with Suricata was very smooth and easy. Hillary, the owner, was very quick to respond to all my queries. Overall, everything went as planned.
I booked a mixed accommodation - 2 nights in lodge & 2 nights camping. To my surprise, i was upgraded to stay at the newly built Suricata Boma lodge and it was excellent. It just opened and according to them, I was their second guest. I was literally the only guest during my 2 night stay and everyone was so accommodating and helpful.
As for the safari tour, I was lucky to be part of an amazing group headed by our excellent driver/guide, Rocky. Rocky was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to provide good details about the safari, what to expect and he was able to answer all questions. We were also able to see the Big 5.
I highly recommend Suricata Safaris. They’re truly the best in Tanzania. They go above and beyond what is expected. I’m definitely booking another tour with them next time I visit.

Exceptional experience from start to finish - definitely book with Suricata!
Our Suricata Safari was absolutely fantastic. Our guide, James, and chef, Tito, were exceptional and made the experience unforgettable.
Communication and organisation was excellent and friendly.
The parks themselves were spectacular and James did a great job at making sure we saw lots of amazing animals.
All the food was absolutely delicious and looked like the best out of all the other Safari groups we saw.

Amazing safari
We had an incredible time on this safari and couldn’t recommend it more. Here are some of the reasons why:
*Organisation/communication. The entire trip was extremely well organised and communicative, from when we were considering booking, when they sent a precise itinerary in a PDF including a “to pack” list, through to the end of the trip.
*Cost. Our package was the “adventure camping” one and cost around 780USD per person excluding tips. We think this was very good value.
*Food. Our chef, Tito, was exceptional. The food was genuinely delicious and varied, including good veggie options. We always had hot food even when eating picnic style (which other safaris often do not provide). We always had plates, knives, forks, fresh juice, etc. and a limited amount of wine was provided in the evenings. The chef was also a totally cool guy. *Guide. Our guide, James (aka Jimmy aka 007 aka Jimmy Boy), was absolutely brilliant. He was extremely knowledgeable and went the extra mile in every way. Nothing was too much for him and he made sure we all had a great time from start to finish.
*Accommodation. The tents provided were large and they gave us roll mats, sleeping bags and pillows, too. Each campsite had clean toilets and showers (2/3 had hot water). The guides erected our tents for us on arrival.
*Activities. We did two days in the Serengeti, one in Ngorongoro Crater and one in Tarangire. All were spectacular and we saw all the “big five”, plus many amazing landscapes. Attenborough-esque animal action!
We took the tour in early May, which is technically rainy season, but it didn’t rain much and didn’t affect our enjoyment of the tour at alls
Overall, then, would highly recommend Suricata Safaris and encourage you to go with them for an unforgettable experience.

Caring and educated driver, delicious food
We had an amazing camping safari with this company. The driver Rocky was very nice and funny, he told us a lot about animals and spotted a lot of them. The chef Musa was incredible, we had all our favorite Tanzanian dishes , they were super tasty! The tents were spacious, we didn’t feel cold at night.
We highly recommend this company and their high quality service!
