They were very sincere in accommodating our urgent requests.
They are flexible with pickup locations and drop points.
Our guide, Max, was kind and serious about making the tour a success.
Lunch was also very good.

Amazing and magical
5/5

The organization of the safari by Suricata was just perfect from our arrival to our departure.
Before each step there is always a clear explanation of how what awaits us will unfold.
Each member of the organization is smiling, attentive and makes a lot of effort for people who do not speak English.
We chose to sleep at a campsite to make the most of the experience and nature. And every evening, they take care of absolutely everything, we don't have to worry about anything, just make the most of every moment. Obviously camping means leaving your comfort aside and that’s what makes the moment even more beautiful. Escape and return to the source.
By sleeping at the campsite we were able to enjoy the animals from start to finish. Incredible to be in front of this tent and to see the zebras, giraffes etc. being in front of us, going about their lives as if nothing had happened. The importance of being respectful of their environment, of admiring them but leaving them alone because it is us who are invading their space, we must not forget this.
All meals cooked by James were exceptional and truly delicious. We don't think we eat so well!
We were lucky enough to have Rocky as our guide, and I don't think we have enough words to describe this beautiful person! Attentive, smiling, relaxing, endearing and gave her all to ensure that our safari exceeded our expectations! We couldn't dream of a better person to share and discover Tanzania.
When discovering the parks, WHAOU, we can imagine a lot of things but we are very far from reality! You have to see them and experience them to believe them! It's spectacular, no words can describe what we felt and experienced. Seeing the animals in their natural space is just magnificent and moving. And once again Rocky prepared exceptional surprises for us every day.
Nature is truly wonderful and the respect that Tanzania gives to it is incredible. We should learn a lot from this...

For the final word forget everything you can imagine
Suricata Safari takes us on a road trip through the best parks and nature reserves
Special mention to the best guide Rocky who is one of the pillars of this magnificent human adventure full of sharing.

Asante sana

Great communication and organisational and great 5 day tour
5/5

Spent an amazing 5 day camping safari in Northern Tanzania. All my questions were answered super quickly before the start of the tour and someone came to the hotel for a briefing the day before and even when returning from the trip to check in if everything went smoothly.

Food we got was the best I ever had on any of these trips with great variety for each meal. Both our guide and cook were great, making sure we were enjoying our trip

Got to see a lot on the tour, the camps in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro were quite basic (public campsite) but are visited by animals during the night which is quite exciting

Suricata Safari- trip of a lifetime
5/5

I can't recommend Suricata Safaris highly enough. Communication with Hilary in their office was reassuring that all was in hand when booking from the UK. We were collected from the airport and spent the first night at the Tulia hotel, which was just outside of Arusha town, an ideal quiet location. Accommodation was included in our price. On arrival we were met by Daniel an employee of Suricata, who discussed paying the balance and offered additional trips to consider while in Arusha, such as a guided walk around the town, or a coffee plantation and waterfall excursion. We decided on the local town tour and was guided by Chuke, who showed us to some excellent view point for photos and the local markets. The following day we headed off for our five day trip with our guide Frederick, starting with Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and then Ngorogoro crater. The 2 night stay at the Suricata Boma Lodge on the edge of lake Maynyara, blew us away. We never expected to stay at such a wonderful place, this really set the safari off on a high after a day in Manyara and Tarangire. Our guide Frederick throughout the trip was absolutely amazing, so knowledgeable both on the animals and the local culture, we learnt so much. The accommodation, both lodge and tent (Angata camp Serengeti and Ngorogoro) were fantastic, the staff tentative and reassuring as we spent nights so close to the animals. Suricata made our first Safari experience one we shall never forget and I would highly recommend them.

Suricata Safaris is setting standards
5/5

Perfectly organized and highly professional team. From the pick up over the guides to the food, accomodations and tours=> top notch!. The genuinely friendliness is amazing, all involved give 100% and more to make your stay unforgettable and enjoyable. The drivers/guides are highly experienced professionals. Value for Money is simply excellent.
We booked an individual package that included Lake Natron, Lake Eyasi, Mto Wa Mbo City Walk, Tarangire and Ngorongoro National Parks, Materuni. These are maybe not the most booked destinations, but so worth it as it gave us a good view of the different landscapes and nature in Tanzania, introduced us to the amazing cultures and lifes of different tribes, showed us how peaceful >120 different tribes can live together side by side and of course let us see during the 2 Safari trips all the animals we longed for and much more. Not including Serengeti gave us the chance to stay most nights in the brand new Suricata Boma Lodge which is a paradise on ist own with views on Lake Manyara. We really could not ask for more. My personal Tip for other travelers: try to book an extra Day and Night at the Suricata Boma Lodge which is the perfect end to a fantastic tour. And take the chance then to book a massage with Helen or ask for Gerald to give you a walk to the lake to see animals, ask Toyi to teach you Swaheli, if you need a warm smile pass by the reception for Salome or anybody else crossing your way……everybody there will make you feel welcome.

Amazing Safari
5/5

We went on safari with Lewis and he was amazing. He did a super job telling us all about the animals and their behaviours and habitat and it was very interesting. We also enjoyed the scrumptious fresh meals cooked by Tito. Airport pick up and drop off were very smooth as well. We were greeted by Swalehe on the day of arrival in Arusha and he gave us a briefing on the itinerary. Ali kindly dropped us off at the airport on the day of departure. We highly recommend Suricata Safari company. Very well organised company with great staff and we would go again, hopefully soon.

Amazing experience, can't recommend enough and would do again for sure.
5/5

It was an incredible trip. Right from the start, everyone at Suricata was very attentive. The tour logistics were impressive too; the organization of the day, meal timings, and even restroom breaks during the trip were well-planned, and the guide always checked in with us about how the tour was going.

Sleeping in the middle of the Serengeti is an amazing experience (we heard the sounds of zebras, hyenas, and lions during the night).

We were welcomed by Daniel, who met us at the hotel and gave us instructions for the upcoming days. Shortly after, we met Ezekiel, who would be our guide for the next 5 days. Ezekiel was always very attentive to our requests during the tour, especially when we wanted to stop for photos or spend more time in a particular place. We were fortunate to have Salim as our cook, and with his 'magic hands,' he prepared wonderful meals.

In summary, the days began with a breakfast prepared at the camp, followed by a safari in the parks, a picnic lunch break, more safari in the afternoon, or a transfer to the next location.

We followed the 5-day itinerary (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Manyara). If possible, I would request doing Tarangire and Manyara first and then Serengeti and Ngorongoro; I would also ask to spend two nights in the Serengeti. Our group consisted of 6 people, all following the same 5-day itinerary, which also greatly contributed to the positive experience as we formed a great friendship group.

Everyone at Suricata was very attentive and always tried to meet our requests to make our experience as positive as possible!
