A TRIP OF A LIFETIME
I'm a solo traveler and this trip held a lot of firsts. It's the first time I've been to Africa and by extension Tanzania. It's the first time I've gone on safari and it's the first time I've ever booked a 4 full day tour that included sleeping arrangements. Suricata did not disappoint. For any issue that arose, from my not having a smaller bag <15kg for the safari trip to my flight being 7 hrs delayed, my Suricata booking agent Halima made sure to keep communication lines open with prompt responses and effective solutions for problems. The phrase "there's nothing we could do" was never uttered which is so rare in this day and age where folks will happily accept your money while doling out 0 customer service.
The accommodations were AMAZING for the money spent and even if they weren't, I'm sure the staff at Suricata safaris would have done whatever to ease my concerns.
I came in Dec 2023 which upon researching is the low season so I was not sure we would see any of the big 5. On my tour led by Freddie, we saw topis, heartbeats, warthogs, banded mongooses, dikdiks, elephants, giraffes, monkeys, baboons, lions, zebras, buffalo, wildebeests, rabbits, ostriches, a leopard, cheetahs, hippos, rhinos, white flamingos, hyenas, and various birds.
Freddie was always engaging, funny, and informative my only complaint with Suricata re: Freddie was that I had to wait until I returned to Arusha to tip him as there were no ATM stops. Touring with him was a 10 star out of 5 experience. There was never a dull moment unless I decided to fall asleep :)
The chef James, also went out of his way to make our tour group feel at home. Always greeting us with a smile, his dishes were delicious and inspiring....Im still unsure of how he made pizza with no oven but he did it! Every meal was nourishing and besides the pizza, reminded me of my mother's home cooking. I was raised eating spicier foods and James and Freddie always had extra spicy pepper sauce so that I could add the heat I've become accustomed to.
To close out the amazing 4 day safari, I met with Daniel at my accommodation in Arusha for a debriefing where he asked for an honest opinion of the tour and asked for ways in which the company could improve. I really did not have much feedback in the way of improvements.
It was a stellar experience. After posting about my experiences on Instagram, family and friends who had never shown interest in visiting Africa nor any type of safari have been contacting me relentlessly for more details about my trip so that they could arrange a visit with their own families.
Words truly can't express how grateful I am to Suricata for this experience but I certainly did try!!! I wish everyone from the company the best and I thank them earnestly for this once in a lifetime experience.

Trip was absolutely second to none. Please don’t question this company you really will have an amazing time. my tour guide Freddie went above and beyond accompanying us and teaching us such knowledgable things along our safari! Special shoutout to him!

Amazing experience
Everything about this trip was amazing. Our tour guide Freddy was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He went above and beyond so we could see so many animals.
Suricata is an amazing company who really take care of their customers.
Any questions we had they were very responsive.
Pick up and drop off was seamless.
The food was really nice we were provided with hot meals for lunch everyday.
The camps were clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly.
The suricata boma lodge is a must place stay if you can! Was heavenly!!

Can’t be better!
I had an amazing 5 days with the Suricata tour. I traveled with my daughter, and Elias, as our guide, was simply fantastic. He was very patient, had a beautiful personality, and was incredibly knowledgeable, answering every single question I asked. I am sure my trip wouldn’t have been the same without him! The food was also delicious; I expected to be starving but ended up having so much food. Popcorn before dinner was an added delight. Company doesn’t overcharge, it is Reasonable price as well! Overall, the entire Suritaca team communicated really well, and I am so happy. Thank you for your excellent service! If anyone is still searching the company, I highly recommend this company.

Awesome experience! The scenery and landscape was captivating. We saw 4 of the “big 5”. Our guide/driver Rocky was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional. The lunch provided was delicious and considered my vegan lifestyle. I highly recommend Suricata Safaris! You won’t regret it.

I don’t really know where to start about Suricate Safari. The service and professionalism is beyond amazing . My initial contact was with Glory. She quickly responded to my emails and text. Daniel greeted my family and I the day before the tour to understand our expectation and explain the agenda . Then we had the amazing , and well knowledge tour guide Rocky. He quickly become part of the family . He made sure we saw 4 out of the big 5 animals . My family can’t stop smiling and talking about the experience and service . Perfect! Amazing costumer service
We had the best time ever. From the booking process with Glory, to the briefing with Mr.T and walking tour around Arusha with Daniel and the safari itself with Z (Ezekiel). IT WAS SO GREAT. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, the food during our entire stay was TERRIFIC. We loved every minute of it. They always made sure we were taken care of and went the extra mile. We spent 3 incredible days in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with Ezekiel who couldn’t have been a better guide his knowledge and expertise are unmatched. The team at Suricata Safaris will go above and beyond to make sure your safari experience is one to never forget from the chef (Salim) who’s meals were so delicious to the office staff (Daniel) making sure everything runs smoothly we would highly recommend using Suricata Safaris!

A dream come true!
Knowing the safaris with the Suricata Safaris was a dream that exceeded all my expectations. The hotels were impeccable, the car very good, without giving any problems, the food was wonderful. Our chef was Tito, and each day he had an amazing surprise in taste. Our driver was Ezequiel, careful and impeccable when driving, friendly and affectionately with the team.
