A raw and untouched African wilderness experience
Watching a pride of lions gather over a buffalo kill in real-time was easily the highlight of this safari trip.
The sheer proximity to the animals while staying completely safe inside the 4x4 vehicles was impressive. The itinerary allowed plenty of balance between intense game drives and relaxing stops, including a scenic break on top of the massive granite kopjes to take in the open views.
Everything ran on schedule, from early morning pick-ups to full-day excursions across the plains. A well-managed operations team that delivers an authentic bush experience.

Amazing Safari experience!
We recently completed a 5-day safari with Suricata Safaris, and it was a very positive experience. Our guide, Pascal, was excellent, highly professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to ensuring we had a great trip. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to see all of the Big Five along with a wide variety of other wildlife. We opted for the mid-range package, and the accommodations were all very nice and comfortable. The food provided throughout the trip was also good. Overall, the tour was well-organized, and we felt very well taken care of. We would definitely recommend Suricata Safaris and Pascal for a well-managed safari experience
Unique experience with incredible animals and humans
Our guide Filex was really passioned by his job. Flexible, helpful and teach many things about animals and his cultur! And a very Good view to see details we can't see before him!
And Lukas was our incredible Cook-chef. He prepared many delicious plates from Tanziana. Each meal was generous and shared in a Good vibe!

The experience of a lifetime
We just finished our 6 days safari and what a week ! The organization was perfect from the pick up at the airport to the very end of the week. Our guide Filex was highly qualified and kind. He taught us a lot about all the animals we saw and was always very respectful to the wild life which is for us one of the most important thing. He taught us also a lot about Masaï culture and we are really thankful for that as it made our trip even more rich. We also had deliceous hot cooked meals prepared by our cook Lucas and nice camping sites. I would highly recommand Suricata Safaris and our guide Filex to anyone thinking about doing a safari trip to Tanzania.

Excellent experience
We had a four day safari visiting Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was really exciting and full of emotions to see so much wild animals. Our guide was Jordan - a very nice and polite guide, explaining a lot about the animals, the habits and traditions which made our journey even more interesting. The provided food for picnics is very tasty and the places we stayed nice and cozy.

Amazing week
The safari was incredible and definitely exceeded all expectations. Our guide Jordan was great - he always found a way to get us closer to the animals than I thought possible. He knew everything about the park's inhabitants and was extremely responsive to everything.

Safari with family

The best four days safari trip, thanks to Amiri
We did a four-day safari with Suricata Safaris (Tarangire, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater) and we’re still thrilled about it. The main reason for that is our guide Amiri, so that’s what I want to write about first.
Amiri is just a wonderful person. Super relaxed, always in a good mood, and incredibly attentive at the same time. He explained things to us the whole time, about the animals, about the country’s history, about the Maasai, and about much of what we came across along the way. You could tell he wasn’t just reciting facts, he genuinely wanted to show us his country.
In the parks he always did everything to get us a good view of the animals, but never in a way that crowded or disturbed them. We really respected that. His instinct for wildlife is remarkable. Time and again he spotted animals that were almost impossible for us to make out in the landscape, sometimes even from the moving car and at great distance. On top of that he took care of everything. He organized the meals, set the table at lunch, was punctual every single day and always well prepared. And when one of our rims had a little crack, he sorted it out himself in no time and changed the tire. He’s also a fantastic driver. Traffic in Tanzania is pretty wild for us Europeans, but with Amiri we never felt unsafe, not once.
And the wildlife, a dream. We got to admire both the Big Five and the Ugly Five in full, plus giraffes, monkeys, zebras, gazelles, cheetahs, a python and countless other animals. A lot of it we saw right while they were eating or hunting. The thing that stuck with me most was a leopard moving through the Serengeti at sunset, chasing gazelles. You don’t forget something like that. All in all it was an absolutely unforgettable experience.
The lodges were mostly really lovely too. Suricata Boma Lodge was our favorite, beautiful grounds, great food and genuinely warm people. Another special experience was the night at Tanzania Bush Camp Simba, right in the middle of the Serengeti. You really sleep out in the wild there, you hear the sounds of the animals all around you in the evening and at night, and you’re closer to nature than just about anywhere else. That was an experience in its own right, and one we wouldn’t want to have missed.
If you’re going to Tanzania, book with Suricata and ask for Amiri. You won’t regret it.
Dear Amiri, thank you for everything, truly. You made this trip into something we’ll never forget. We hope we’ll see each other again someday. Asante sana, brother!
