Great 7-day trip
After looking up information on this website we decided to take a tour with Suricata for a 7-day safari trip. What a week it has been!
Ezekiel, our driver, knows everything about the parks and animals that live there. During the full day game drives he chose the routes and tracks were we saw so many animals and beautiful sceneres. The cook, Dionis, made the best dishes for us and prepared us great packed lunches.
We would definitely recommend to chose Suricata for a safari in Tanzania. We would like to thank our chef and driver again for this amazing experience! Asante sana :)

My wife and I took part in a four-day camping safari in August 2019 (6 people in total). We chose Suricata because from the very beginning we had a very pleasant and obliging contact with Hillary. Also because Suricata had the comparatively best package on offer. For example, during the four-day safari, the night before the start and the night after the end were included in the package.
From the beginning we felt really well cared for. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were met by Prince and Hillary. They answered all our questions and prepared us for the upcoming trip.
The safari was perfectly organized through and through. Onesmo is an excellent driver and very pleasant and experienced guide. We received a lot of knowledge about the animals from him and it became clear that the wilderness with its inhabitants is very important to him.
Benjudah has surprised us every day with breakfast, lunch and delicious dinner that you can hardly expect on a tent safari. He was also a very pleasant and funny companion.
We've seen all five of the "Big Five" of in the four days (a rhinoceros from a distance), four of them already on the first day in the Serengeti. Among other things, we were fortunate enough to see cheetah babies, lion babies and a mating pair of lions. We had the feeling that the animals were always treated with reasonable respect; no wild driving stunts were made, just so that us tourists would get close to the animals.
As a nice goodie at the end, the guys surprised us with huts instead of tents for our last night at Lilac Campsite. After two consecutive nights in ground tents, this was a very welcome change.
The bottom line is that we can fully and completely recommend Suricata without any reservation. Although we have no comparison, we are sure that Suricata is among the best safari providers in the region.

Amazing service, they really care about you enjoying the experience!
I was really surprised about how great they managed every situation. The service was amazing. They welcomed us and explained us everything again. When the safari started they even upgraded the experience. Whenever we were on the road we could see how Fredric, our guide, was always trying to make us enjoy the experience; he knew a lot about the animals, the place and the country itself. It was great to have somebody so prepared during the trip. We saw the big 5!! We are really thankful and will totally recommend Suricata! They are amazing! :)

Surikata safari was the best and highly recommended.
Everything was perfect. A guide to driving and looking for animals, a cook who cooks all the meals deliciously, and the people who were with him were all kind and sensible and able. Thanks to them, I could see many animals. It allows me to find the best location and capture it with my eyes and camera at leisurely. I can only say positive things. Nice the first contact by e-mail were straightforward, my questions were answered immediately and everything was smoothly. We booked the 5 day tented safari and I can only say it was great! Lewis the guide and Hilda the chefs were so incredibly good and made everything an unforgettable experience. Even small problems with the car were solved quickly and so it could go too. You can not say much about the game drives except "wow" we saw so many animals, it was just indescribably beautiful. Hilda as a cook cooked fresh for us every day or prepared the picnic and it was all delicious. Also the equipment was in good condition. I can recommend the company 100%.

Amazing animal interactions
Went beyond my expectations! Saw so many animals, up close! It was really cool to be able to camp in the parks too! We had buffalo, zebra and elephants all come up close to our tent! Amazing guides, and amazing food.

5 day group safari tour
My wife and I decided on Tanzania for our honeymoon, a 5 day safari was the one part of the trip we were most excited about. Hillary, the manager/ our contact for Suricata safaris was always immediate with a reply when we had contacted him with questions prior to arriving in the country. When we arrived at JRO airport, he had a driver waiting for us with a sign saying out names and Suricata Safaris. The ride was easy to our hotel In Arusha. The next day we met with our guide- Bryson and cook- Saleem. They were both very accommodating to us, as well spoke very clear English. Over the next 5 days we spent traveling to 3 different and parks and chasing after all the game we could find.
Each day Bryson was so knowledgeable about the game we had seen, teaching us about the lifespans, the unique habits, the mating seasons and the diets of each animal we had encountered. Bryson’s experience mixed with a little bit of luck, we were able to witness all of the big 5, including rhino in the low sighting season. We also were front row for a lion pride feast of a zebra. We spent over an hour, front row watching the pride juggle for a turn to feast, seeing the vultures circle waiting for their turn. Bryson was so patient and genuinely excited about what we were witnessing, it was contagious.
Our cook Saleem, or chef as he wished to be called, totally lived up to his name. Our meals were so much plentiful and beyond delicious. At our request he spent the majority of the 5 days cooking local meals, mixing in a western to give us some familiar tastes of home. ”chef” is so passionate about cooking, you can taste it in every meal he made.
My wife and I were so happy with the service that Suricata provided for us. We will definitely be making an anniversary trip back to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with them.

4 Day Private Safaris with Suricata Safaris
Hi !
My husband and I chose to do a 4 day private safari with Suricata Safaris and we were blown away !! We were greeted at the airport promptly, spent one night at the Jevas hotel where Hilary (the manager) met us and gave us the details of our journey. The next days were filled with amazing views and game drives through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Tarangire Park. Our tour guide Bryan and cook Salim treated us so well, Bryan was very knowledgeable about every animal and every park we visited- he made us feel very comfortable and safe. He found the best parts of the parks where we watched a pack of lions devour a zebra - a once in a life time opportunity! Salim is an amazing chef who kept us full with tasty Tanzanian dishes! Salim and Bryan would set up and take down our tents which were very cozy - one night during our tented stay a pack of zebras entered the camp site and we had to pass them while walking to the bathroom! Couldn't ask for a better experience . Hilary was excellent with keeping in contact with us and making sure we were cared for adequately.
Can’t say enough about our great private experience with Suricata Safaris! Will definitely be back to see more unbelievable animals with them !
