best Tour operator no Hesitation
A flawless 3 day adventure to Serengeti and ngorongoro crater all so well organised by the Suricata Team. The manager Hillary took great care of us from pick up at airport until our return back. Great shoutout To Mandela our guide who has great knowledge of the Tanzanian Savannah ! A chef so discrete who cooked amazing delicacies breakfast lunch and diner ! We got to see the big 5 and many more animals . Équipements provided were in great conditions. For a first time in the jungle we got lucky to have such friendly and experienced team where everything went smoothly and according to our wishes.....I could not recommend them enough. Well deserved 5 stars :)

Amazing camping tour with perfectly organized and a perfect tourguide
Communication: perfect and easy via WhatsApp and email
Service: everything was well. Organized and prepared. Good food, good accommodation, amazing wildlife experiences!!!
Brooked a 4 night camping safari and slept surprisingly two nights in lodges :)
Our tourguide was amazing!!!
The best safari experience ever!!
After lots of research, my friend and I booked with Suricato safaris about 2 weeks before we left and we are so glad we did! The owner Hillary could not do enough to help make our trip as perfect as possible...adding extra nights to already scheduled trips, planning bespoke routes so we got to see all the best spots and allowing us to change our booking right up to the last minute when we had some confusion with flights.
Everything ran smoothly, from the moment we were collected from the airport to the moment we collected our luggage from storage and checked into the last hotel.
The safari blew our minds in terms of the animals we saw - lions with cubs, families of elephants, rhino, hippo, leopard, monkeys, wilderbeast, the list is endless! A cheetah actually jumped on the roof of our jeep to get a better vantage point from which to hunt!! We nearly passed out from fright!
Massive thanks to Lewis, who was an amazing driver and guide. He was so knowledgable, spoke great English and was very funny which is always nice when you’re in a jeep for 4 days with someone. Our cook Dioness provided amazing, prepared from scratch, meals three times a day...pretty tough in the middle of the Serengeti!! A top chef!
We took the option of a cheaper trip which was camping for 3 nights and lodge for one night. Hearing lions at night and buffalo grazing outside your tent at 1am is an amazing experience but camping is definitely not luxury, so be prepared!
If I could suggest one thing that could be improved is that we stayed at Ecobomo lodge on the last night and had a ton of mosquito bites due to the lake nearby and there was no fan in the room to keep the air flowing. We hadn’t had any bites the whole time, so was a bit of a shame. However that is not the fault of the safari team.
To sum up...if you want to have a truly amazing safari experience with local guides, great food and lovely people...at a good price...then choose Suricato Safari.
Thank you!

Was a pleasant trip
We ordered 1 day before the safari via whatsup. Everything went quite smooth. We got a pickup at the airport, hotel before departure, hotel after comming back from the safari amd transport to the airport which we upgraded by having the guy to take us to the waterfall under kilimanjaro and visit a coffee farm where we made a coffee from the bean to the cup and had a banana wine. Very nice experience.
In the safari we’ve visited Serengeti, Ngoro-ngoro and tarangire. Except rhinos(which we saw from very far) we saw all the big animals and the experience was amazing.
Be prepared to be in a big jeep on the very bumpy roads with not much chance to get out of the car in the parks due to the park policy. The whole safari is very tiring. So get ready. But its really worth it!!!
We slept in the tents which was also very cool. Above ngoro ngoro there came in the night buffalos right in between the tents and serengeti we had few hyenas walking through the camp. Super cool:)
About suricata all thenorganisation was very easy, all was taken care of and the food was thanks to the great chef amazing! Everything what was promised was fulfilled
To give a recommendation If we went again we would choose a to go just 4 of us and driver and a chef. We went in 6 plus the tqo surricata guys and the car was a bit packed. Not really a problem but if we would have a bigger bags i think we would be squeezed.
We enjoyed the trip a lot with surricata and highly recommend this company

Excellent safari
Communication was 10/10 with quick replies via whattsapp. Any question I had was quickly answered by Hilary.
The safari was great value for money, we did the 3 day tour in an open top jeep with another 4 people.
This was the right amount of people and we all got on well.
The food was cooked by the chef which tasted amazing, our guide was very knowledgeable and we saw all the animals we wanted to see. I would definitely recommend suricata safaris.

Fantastic Experience
My wife and I went for the 3D4N Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari with Suricata Safaris. It was a fabulous experience. We were picked up at the airport by Leonardi who was friendly also helped us get a local simcard in Arusha.
Our chauffer was Lewis and the chef was Dionis, both amazing chaps. Dionis is very funny and makes amazing food.
In Serengeti, we were able to see lions up close while eating a buffalo, and they passed right next to our jeep! We also saw a leopard, two cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos and other smaller animals. We came back to comfortable tents. Ngorongoro too is very beautiful and it is much easier to spot animals here. We saw lions, buffalos, wildbeest, warthogs up close. We also saw elephants. Lewis was very patient for pictures.
All in all, I would recommend Suricata Safaris to everyone for an unforgettable experience!

5-star experience of a lifetime
I had a once in a lifetime experience!!!We booked a 3days-2nights Serengeti-Ngorongoro safari. Right from the start till the end out safari was exquisitely well organised and detailly planed in advance by Hillary, the awlays smiling manager, who arranged a pick up / drop off from the Kilimandjaro airport and a stay in a hotel in Arusha. Lenard, the driver, is a nice and quite guy, had to wait for us for like 4 hours because of a flight delay, and had to wake up in 4 am to drop us off at the airport. And now about the safari itself: we had the rare chance to see almost all animals and birds there is in Serengati and Ngorongoro - lions, elephants, giraffes, gazellas, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, even by far the black rhinos, except for the cheetah. Thanks to our amasing guide, Rocky, we were always first on the right spot to see the animals and every time he made sure our jeep was on the best possible position. He answered all our questions about wildlife, his skills of driving the jeep through the mud avoided us being stuck, he balanced well our desire to spend more time watching the animals and the need to press time, and last but not least he is funny and approachable. Also he put the tourists safety first by assessing correctly every situation. The top of top, and so unexpected for me, was the gourmet cuisine, prepared 3 times per day by our unique chef Ben. He even managed to cook us a pizza and some popcorn, apart from the delicious pancakes, all the beef stew, fish grilled chicken and variety of veggies !!! The public camps we stayed in were clean and well kept. In short all the crew of Suricata safari made our first safari an unforgettable memory !!!

I've never been on a safari before and this safari trip exceeded my expectations there was so much too see and the guide was informative and was so helpful. One of the highlight was spotting a lion looking for his prey ! If your looking for a safari I recommend this company as they look after you from start to finish. Well done Suricata safaris !

Super safari
We really enjoyed our 5 day safari. We chose the mid-range option for accommodation ($ 1,400 / person for 5 days 4 nights on site + 2 nights in Arusha) and the accommodation there was really good. “Luxury” tents in the Serengeti park and at the edge of the crater with bathroom and toilets included to avoid encountering a lion or a buffalo at night :)
Everything went very well, despite a little rain, and our driver Mandela was adorable and super professional. The other 4 tourists were very cool, I think it also played into the fact that we had a great time. I recommend without hesitation!
