The most enchanting and perfect experience I had in my life. Suricata is amazing!
My name is Mateus (@Matrips_), and I’ve traveled to over 50 countries around the world, but my experience with Suricata was by far one of the most surprising and impactful ones ever!
We did a 5-day safari through Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and the Great Migration, staying between tents and lodges, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life.
From the first contact on WhatsApp, Suricata’s service was flawless. The team’s attention, care, and dedication were obvious in every detail.
From the moment they picked us up at the airport to the last minute of our adventure, their kindness, professionalism, and passion for what they do shined through the entire time.
During the whole safari, our guide was EZEKIEL, and I honestly don’t have enough words to describe him. He was incredible—super helpful, always in a good mood, extremely knowledgeable, and knew everything about the animals and nature around us. He patiently answered all our questions and did everything possible to give us the dream experience, going above and beyond to find all the animals we wanted to see. He exceeded all my expectations, which were already high!
Honestly, it was extraordinary. Suricata is a company I recommend without hesitation, from start to finish! It was a perfect experience, way beyond what I could’ve imagined.

Breathtaking experience!
My girlfriend and I just came back from this Safari and had an amazing time. The guides were extremely professional and friendly and didn't hesitate to show us the best that Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongo Crater had to offer.
We've booked the 4-day Safari and we're lucky enough to get to see all of the big five and the ugly five as well :) We've booked the camping trip and the camp sites were rustic but we'll maintained, clean and the food was freshly made for each breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highlight was the campsite near Ngorongo Crater with Zebras in our campsite and a breathtaking view of the sunrise over the crater.
I can only thank Damian, Alex, Pius and the whole Suricata team for taking care of us over these four days and can recommend booking this trip to everyone!

Great experience
The safari of this restaurant is very good, the accommodation environment is very good, and the price is also very reasonable. The driver took us to see a lot of animals, explained to us patiently, and prepared delicious meals for us, which is highly recommended.

Amazing and unique experience
we did a 5-day safari and it went like this:
day 1: lake manyara
day 2: serengeti
day 3: still serengeti
day 4: ngorongoro
day 5: tarangire
our guide, golden (yes, that’s his name and his vibe), was amazing. this guy knows every park road like the back of his hand. he spotted lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, and even a leopard like it was no big deal. some of the animals came so close to our car you could almost reach out and pet them (but like, don’t).
the campsites? basic but comfy... just BYO toilet paper lol.
food situation? 10/10. our chef james kept us well-fed with hot meals on real ceramic plates in the middle of the parks. felt fancy compared to other tours doing the whole tiffin-box thing.
to top it off, suricata set up a walking tour in mto wa mbu on our last day. super insightful, guide knew their stuff.
all in all, 5 days of total amazement. can’t even put into words how unreal it feels seeing these animals so close. would recommend 100%.

Unforgettable experience
My friend and I booked our safari with a different company but were then hand-balled to Suricata for some reason we don’t understand, however we are glad it happened because we had such an unforgettable experience.
The team at Suricata, Ezekiel our tour guide and chef Samsung along with the support team were all welcoming and attentive.
We absolutely loved having Ezekiel as our tour guide. He was very considerate towards us and especially the animals, not getting too close in their space unlike some other companies did. He made sure we got to see an abundance of animals in all the parks and gave us ample viewing time. He was also a wealth of information, we learnt so much about the animals and the environment in such a small amount of time. The chef put on such an amazing spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday, food we were not expecting whilst camping.
And the camping experience was like no other, hearing the animals in their environment during the night right near your tent is such a surreal experience.

Searching for the Big5 in Serengeti National Park
Searching for the big5 with Freddy from Suricata Safari.
A beautiful 4-day trip to discover the Serengeti National Park and other natural parks in Tanzania. It was an incredible trip full of wonderful places and lots of animals.
Freddy knows all the secret places where there is a greater chance of meeting “rare” animals to see. He is always available to tell stories and anecdotes about the animals and the local culture. He is very attentive, friendly and makes you feel at home. If you book ask for him as a guide!
We chose the mid-range option shared with other travellers.
The places where we stayed at night were enchanting. From the hospitality to the food everything was excellent. The places chosen by Suricata Safari to sleep have Wi-Fi connection, hot shower, very kind staff. This company in addition to being local is also very well equipped for all your needs and desires.
They organized a cake for my wife's birthday in one of their locations. The staff surprised her and sang local songs for her birthday.
The staff is very kind and always attentive to your needs.
We managed to see the big5 and many other animals.
An incredible trip that will forever be in our memory!

Most book with Suricata!
We had an amazing 4 day safari tour that went beyond our expectations! When you book, you must request Freddy. He was so knowledgeable about the area and animals and was an expert on locating areas where we might have a chance seeing our animal wishes. He was exceptional and made the whole trip as good as it was. The team at suricata is very organized. You don’t have to think once you arrive. Your hotels are settled, meals all the days are prepared for you and they will help you with any additional assistance to arrive and depart after your safari. We did the mid range and all the hotels and/or campsites were clean, had working WiFi, hot water and delicious meals. For those that like wine, beer or cocktails after a long day, every location had it for purchase in their locations. I especially loved the suricata bomba lodge with its beautiful rooms, architecture and spa. I cannot recommend suricata enough.
This is an incredible value for what you pay and wonderful service and communication

Everything is perfect!
We booked the safari via email and later via Whatsapp. Communication worked well.
Unfortunately we were not picked up at the airport, but after a Whatsapp, a driver came after 2 minutes. So it didn't bother us and everything after that went smoothly!
About the safari: it was really amazing! Mandela, our guide and driver, really made an effort, we always had time to see the animals, he drove safely and was super friendly! We were able to learn a lot about the animals and experience them up close! I can only recommend it to everyone!
We booked the 5 days in the mid-price lodge category and were overwhelmed by the accommodation! Really nice and very special. The food was always very good and we always had freshly cooked food for lunch, whereas other providers only had packed lunches.
We ultimately decided on Suricata because of the price-performance ratio and would do it again and again. You see the other providers' vehicles all the time anyway and experience the same thing, which makes the sometimes much higher price with other providers incomprehensible!
So full marks and we would do the safari with Suricata again.

Amazing 5 Day Camping Safari
We booked the 5 Days Camping Safari.
Everything was perfect organized from the beginning until the end of the trip.
Our Guide Amiri was super friendly. He spotted lots of animals and made sure that we‘re always in the perfect spot to take our pictures.
He also explained a lot about Tanzania and answered all of our questions.
He made that trip special!

The Food was also delicious!
Every day we had freshly cooked lunch and dinner in the middle of the national parks while other tours had food out of plastic boxes.

The camps in Serengeti and Ngorongoro were easy but practical - you have all you need.
I would recommend to bring some warm clothes to Ngorongoro if you go in Ocotber.
We didn‘t like Twinga Camp so much. It is not in a National Park and noisy because it‘s close to the main street.
At the end of the trip our driver Chuke brought us back to our hotel. He‘s a cool open minded guy with a cheerful character.
So beside Twinga Camp I would give 10 Stars if I could❤️

Exceeded all expectations I had when booking this trip, an amazing experience
An amazing Safari in Tanzania. Booked with Suricata safari's, we had an amazing guide Barracka who took us round the parks and gave us lots of information on all the animals and what we were looking at, he was patient with us taking photos and did a great job and pointing them out, we got so close to some of them I was not expecting this at all!. our cook Tito cooked us amazing food everyday, the pancakes were a highlight! At the end of our experience we met with Daniel to tell him all about it.highly recommend Booking your safari with these guys you will not regret it!
