Incredible Experience on 5 Day Tarangire, Serengeti and Lake Manyara
We had a tremendous 5 day tour with our incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming and generally great guy, Fredy. He answered all of our questions and we had a really good rapport with him, sharing meals and generally chatting along the longer drives to the National Parks.
From start to finish we had the most amazing time. We stayed in fantastic accommodation, with a particular highlight being two nights at Suricata’s own, Suricata Boma Lodge. It’s amazing there. Not only did we see an array of amazing animals but also captured the Milky Way by Lake Manyara which was an unexpected and welcome surprise. In terms of the game viewing, it was superb. We saw lions, leopards, hyenas, hippos, cheetahs, crocodiles, elephants, giraffes, gazelles, impalas, baboons, monkeys, snakes, lizards, vultures and array of other birds. Fredy was like a human encyclopaedia with his knowledge. We tested him with many questions and not once did he not have an answer.
Our group was great, and we made friends along the way which was an added bonus. We ate incredibly well thanks to the food prepared by our chef Saleem. Also a top guy.
Daniel, who conducted our pre-briefing and post-briefing was fantastic too. Very informative and a nice guy who we could relate to.
We will never forget this experience and will absolutely recommend Suricata to our friends. Fredy is the man! We will miss him.
This safari completed our honeymoon and finally, we love Tanzania and feels like it is a second home.
Asante Sana

The best tour company in Tanzania
We enjoyed seeing all the animals we wanted to see, including lions, cheetahs, and the great buffalo migration with explanations from the driver. We had great tour mates, delicious food, and a comfortable tent night. Transportation before and after the tour was included. It is valuable enough to participate by paying money.

Fantastic experience
Fantastic experience with Surricata Safari. We spent quality time with Bryson as driver/guide in both Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. The trip was supplemented by exceptional food prepared by chef Pius. Highly recommended for whoever considers seeing wildlife in real life!

Amazing 5 day safari—family of 4
Our family of four just returned from our private 5-day/4-night safari with Suricata Safaris. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend Suricata! Planning was easy and Hilary was very helpful and informative. Their prices were very reasonable, and the door-to-door service by Tawlib once we arrived at the airport made the trip easy. Our guide and driver, Ezekiel, was absolutely fantastic. We really appreciated that he taught us so much about the animals, birds and even the plants. He found every animal we wanted to see and could spot and identify them from so far away. It was easy to spend 5 days with such a kind and friendly person! He also arranged our itinerary so we could stay two nights in a row at the same lodge, which was great. We were upgraded to a stay at the wonderful Suricata Boma Lodge at Lake Menyara. It was amazing—beautiful resort-like villas with incredible views and unbelievably kind and welcoming staff (plus a pool and spa). We also stayed at two different Angata Tented Camps (Serengeti and Ngorongoro) which were very comfortable and welcoming and the staff made our youngest feel so special he didn’t want to leave! The food was terrific at every location and we were served a hot cooked lunch every day on safari. Suricata staff asked about our food allergies/restrictions and preferences and the food was so delicious! Overall Suricata Safaris was incredible and I highly recommend them!

Good Organisation. Free Transfer. 100% recommend
We booked the low-budget 5-day trip as a couple with Suricata and are still overwhelmed by nature. The organization was great, from the pick-up at the airport to the end of the safari. Our guide Amiri and chef Pius were simply great. There was always freshly cooked food every day, even on the day trips at lunchtime. While other safari groups only had their standard packed lunches, we always had hot food which was based on European cuisine - thank you Pius!
Amiri our good guy guide knew a lot about the animals. You could simply ask him anything. Thanks again Amiri.
All was great. We can recommend Suricata Safaris 100%.

Homely and value for money tour agent
1. Prompt reply with clear cut answers from Halima of Suricatas.
2. Well curated trip meeting our expectation: at leisurely pace, as 4 out 5 were more than 55 yrs.
3. Rocky our guide really rocked, spent 4 days on this trip . He was very knowledgeable and hands on, explaining the topography, floras and faunas, and also laying the table at the lunch.
4. My wife had a old knee injury, Suricatas and Rocky helped out of their way to help.
5. Lucky to have got a good weather, and and very good sighting of wild animals birds.
6. Daniel was good in his briefing.
7. Appears to much better than Kenyan safari.
8. Highly recommended Tanzanian safari.
9. Suricata tour operator Rocks!

Suricata safaris is real value for money.Found by my husband on search .Daniel and Halimat from this group who answered all our queries are excellent. Our driver and tour guide,Rocky was truly amazing- teaching us Swahili, setting up a lovely table top in the midst of the forests and providing perfect meals and coffee. The places to stay at night were comfortable getaways with lovely meals and helpful people.Seeing the large number of the big 5 of animals was once in a lifetime. A must visit for all with Suricata safaris of Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tangerine parks.

We had the best time! Exceeded our expectations.
We had the best time. We saw the big 5 and more. The food was amazing. The accommodation was great and the guides and other helpers/chefs were all lovely and a good time.
Not the best communication when you are in Arusha before and after your stay but otherwise amazing.

He created an unforgettable trip for us
We are absolutely enthusiastic about the safari and can recommend it 100%.
We looked at different safaris in our hostel and finally went for this 2 day tour to the Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.
On the first day we were picked up at the hostel in the morning and drove directly to a mall near Arusha Airport. There we could use the time and buy a few more snacks and drinks until our fellow soldiers joined us.
Thereafter, we went on a direct route to the
Tarangire National Park. The drive took about 2 hours. At Maingate we could directly meet the first monkeys and again briefly visit the toilet before we went to the beautiful National Park. This one was simply insane and clearly showed why one should definitely make a safari in Tanzania! We saw elephants, giraffes, lions (not 2 meters away from our car) and monkeys pretty much everything that the Tanzanian wildlife gives. For lunch we went to one of the campsites where there was very tasty food (rice, meat, fried vegetables). After this refreshment we continued our safari and besides many smaller highlights we saw some very large herds of elephants and zebras.
The first day finally ended in a very well maintained lodge with great dinner, music and acrobatics program.
The next morning, after a rich breakfast, we went straight to Nborongoro Crater. There we were also received at the Maingate by very interested baboons (windows and doors better to keep closed ;) ) and we were able to continue directly to the crater. Arrived there we immediately saw the first lions, which stayed right on the road. During the safari we were able to observe several times larger groups of lions (partly also witnessing lion cubs). There were also countless zebras and wildebeest here. The highlight here was definitely the hippopotamus pool with about 15 animals. Also here there was very tasty lunch, similar to the one the day before. After we left the crater in the afternoon we went straight back to Arusha.
Finally only a huge praise remains to our guide Joseph who did a great job and was able to give us some unforgettable memories.
