Mandela was exceptional. He had great patience and knowledge, we always felt safe with him!
Couldn’t recommend suricata safaris anymore! Our entire trip was smooth sailing from the moment we touched down at Mt Kilimanjaro airport. We were picked up and driven to our accomodation in Arusha where one of the guides gave us a tour around the town. All meals were included on our trip, which were all exceptional.
Our guide Mandela was absolutely amazing, his patience and knowledge was out of this world. He made us feel safe at all times and was able to answer any questions we had with ease!
All staff at suricata safari went above and beyond, and the animal’s and scenery were out of this world! Couldn’t recommend them more!

Unbeatable safari
Ezekiel was a great guide. Knowledgeable and passionate about the animals of the Serengeti. We saw the big five on our trip! Such amazing memories made.

Much more than expected!
Simply impeccable! The service, the organization, the accommodation, the food, the experience: everything was perfect.
The food was always delicious, even in the middle of the savanna it felt like I was in a restaurant.
A highlight was Suricata Boma Lodge, which has a spectacular view of Lake Manyara, with attentive and always very willing staff.
With emphasis on the guides Chuke (Arusha tour), Louis (Lake Manyara tour), Rocky (Serengeti and Ngorongoro tours) and Damien (Tarangire tour) who were available at all times, attentive, helpful, patient and gave a show of knowledge about the animals and the region.
I recommend everyone who goes to the region to choose Suricata Safari as they will certainly be impressed with the quality of the service!

The organization is impeccable
A very friendly guide and cook who took care of you. Excellent and hearty cuisine.

Professional and knowledgeable well organised safari
Our guide Mandela was excellent! His knowledge of the national parks and the animals was amazing and we were able to see many different animals across the 4 days! The food provided by our cook James was all 10/10! Highly recommend and will be returning!

Nice surprise!
Suricata was very communicative before and during and after the safari. Airport pickup was easy and so appreciated.
The safari guide knew a lot and was a very happy guy, which was good energy.
The company provided great lunches and breakfast and dinner, but the time between breakfast and lunch was far too long for me, with no snacks provided.
They did provide tons of water and soft drinks and beer and wine, which was a nice surprise!

A wish come true experience
It was a wish come true. The guide Max could not be better. He told as everything and even moore. We so animals from a very very short distance. The food made by Tito made our safari unforgateful. A real culinaric experience. The whole organisation by Suricata was perfect. I woul recomed it to anyone. Ales

Just perfect and everything we wished for
We just came from a 4 day safari trip with Suricata. Uau, so many impresions. Our guide Max was the best. He took us to see so many animals that I could not imagine before the trip. And so much information about the animals and everything. Soo impressed 👍👍👍 And the food...uau...shef Tito is the one to have. Delucios, every meal different and on a high level...just perfect. So if you are planning a safari in Tanzanija, Suricata is the one to choose. Will never forget it. Mira

An unforgettable experience! Cannot recommend highly enough
This 3 day safari was everything I expected and so much more. Everything from start to finish was arranged specifically for us including an overnight stay in Arusha, and a complementary drive back to Moshi afterwards. This meant we could relax throughout and simply feel at home with the incredible animals on Safari. We saw 4 of the big 5 (just missing the leopard) thanks to our incredible guide, Damian, who was eagle-eyed and always very happy to share his extensive knowledge about the amazing fauna in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. He was experienced and enthusiastic, and was always there for any queries at the camps as well. He spotted a rhino on our last day, and we saw lion cubs in the Serengeti, both of which are very rare sightings. It was such a privilege to be so close to these apex predators, and an elephant and lioness came so close to our her at some points that we could have touched them!
Both camps were beautiful, comfortable, and we felt very welcome. We were also fed superbly with freshly cooked hot meals by our chef, Saleem 3x a day. This was the best food I’ve had in Tanzania and even included our requested ugale!
The jeep was comfortable, equipped for everything on safari, and high up with an open top so that you could spot the animals very easily and from any seat. We could use Damian’s two pairs of binoculars. We had cold water at all times and places to charge our phones/digital cameras in the jeep.
I would highly recommend this company if you want to have a fun, animal-filled, and authentic Safari experience.
Top tips:
- Bring toilet paper for the seronera campsite in central Serengeti
- prepare o get dusty on the Serengeti plains (wear appropriate clothes and shoes)
- bring a warm jacket for the night in ngorongoro if you are going in their winter time

Amazing!
Had an amazing time! The tour guide Damian was brilliant, he managed to spot animals from seemingly impossible distances and was always enthusiastic and willing to crack jokes. He always got us in the best positions to see all the animals too and had lots of knowledge about each animal we saw. The food was amazing, much better than expected. A variety of food each meal meant we were never bored and looking at other tour groups eating the same food each meal made us happy we chose this company. The safari itself was incredible, a once in a lifetime experience. We chose camping, and felt fully immersed in the Serengeti which is truly unforgettable. I would absolutely choose this company again, I was worried that it would not be worth the money but it absolutely was.
