Great safari!!
We had a great time, all of our expectations have been fullfilled. Well organized tour, a very competent guide offering us great views at the animals in the parks and a chef who served us delicious food!!

Awesome experience with Suricata
I found Suricata Safaris by chance. I must admit I was a bit scared but it happened to be one of the best choice I’ve ever made. It was a fantastic experience, the Safari was wonderful, we saw everything we had expected to see and a lot more. The experience in the campingy sites was strong but there we could really enjoy the wild life and the atmosphere (especially in the campsite placed in the National Parks). The last day at Ngorongoro crater campsite we even saw an elephant and some zebras taking a stroll between the tents! Moreover the group we found was incredibly nice and we really spent really good time together. Our driver Johnson was really expert and friendly as well. Moosa cooked exceptional meals and was always super happy. Mr Hilary was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend them for sure.

Magical and wouldnt be the same without Nickson
This was my first land safari and did not know what to expect. I was blown away at the logistics and organization of the entire operation. Very impressed and satisfied; would 100% rebook with these guys without hesitation. Our driver Nickson was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable, kind, funny, and personable. Couldn't imagine it with somebody else.
We saw the big 5 which was awesome. The cheetahs were hands down the best. All the food was plentiful and tasty with options for vegetarians as well. Wine provided each night.
Quality Tents provided with a sleeping mat, pillow, and sleeping bag. Never got cold but I run hot.
Vehicle holds 6/7 people with pop up roof and opening side windows.
Hot lunches provided each day even on picnics.
The locals and businesses seem to really like this operator as well because they are good to them which is a bonus.
We had bathrooms and showers each night of various quality. Some water was hot others was cold. Not always a physical sit on toilet but the flushable squat down type. Bring your own paper/wipes and soap as more places do not have them. Also bring your own towel.
The first camp last camp near Lake Maynara in Mto Wa Mbu has a small market in front of it with various drinks, alcohol, and toiletries for purchase. This is a gated area with lights, bar, and a pool.
Serengeti camp was primitive with bathrooms and showers although water pressure was low. This was the most exposed camp but there were guards up at night.
The nogorogoro camp had a restaurant and bar with shower and toilets as well. Very cold on the crater rim with fog and possible light rain so plan accordingly. Animals may wander into camp but there are armed guards. We had an elephant in ours but they peacefully deterred it.
Make sure to tip your driver and cook as they work very hard nonstop.
There was also a walking tour to a local village with native tribes and the Maconde carpenters, painters, banana and rice farms, and a banana beer/winebrewery.. I recommend this even if just to learn about the culture. Very cool
You will not go hungry or be disappointed with these guys. Ask for Nickson and Musa (spelling?) the cook

Professionalism, good value of money, experienced company
Me and my husband went for a 5 day camping safari with Suricata, around the main national parks in northern Tanzania.
We initially chose Suricata because of the reviews and affordable price, since we were traveling in a short budget.
Since the beginning were positively impressed by the company. Starting from Hilary (it's a he, he is one of the owners) perfect timing to respond to all emails, messages and inquiries. We heard that prices could only be lower if negotiated in Arusha with other companies, but definitely none of them would offer accomodation on the previous day and the day after, as well as transport from the airport and back to the airport on the next day.
The professionalism of the company is outstanding, and I must say it's a good and refreshing feeling, especially when you are traveling around in Africa.
The safari group could not be more pleasant, with couples and single travellers composing a really diverse group, and the driver and chef were always thoughtful and positive.
All this said, the safari was amazing :)

Outstanding 4 day tour of Tanzanias national parks
What an incredible 4 day safari with Suricati safaris! Just as advertised- airport pickup at Arusha, overnight stay at Summit Lodge, then a 4 day guided tour through Tarangire, the Serengeti, and the Ngorogoro crater/caldera. Our guide Ezekiel was oustanding! A trained guide in wildlife management, no question was too difficult (and we asked a lot- including the 5 and 11 year olds!). We felt completely safe and entertained throughout the safari, with magical stays in excellent safari lodges (Baghayo, Serengeti Heritage, and Ngorogoro Angata camp). Hilary was exceptional throughout, with quick and timely responses by email and 100% transparency throughout. Hope to do this again if we can with Suricati Safaris!

Good safari, great service and fast communication
Me and my husband had planned for a long camping safari but unfortunately we got sick so we had to stay at the hotel Surikata booked for us. But they we’re so helpful in making sure we could stay at Gateway Lodge a few more nights and when we felt better they arranged a shorter safari for us where we saw lots of animals. It was a great day.
Everything has worked out very well with Surikata, from the airport pickup to the safari and all the small details. The contact with Hilary at WhatsApp has been fast and he has done everything to make us comfortable. I would recommend Surikata!

Serious and generous
We took the trip to Lake Manyara. We saw a lot of animals, including elephants, lions and water buffalos. The guide was very friendly and knew a lot about the animals and the surroundings. Ever since planning this trip back home I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Suricata Safaris. They are serious, friendly and generous. They take good care of you. And you get a lot for the money.

Materuni waterwalls, coffee tour and Chemka hot springs
I really recommend to go for this one day trip. You will see amazing waterfalls and on the way back you will stop in small village where you will have coffee tour with the explanation of whole process and also local lunch. It was really great. Then you move to Chemka hot springs where you can relax in water. If you will have luck as we had you will also see Kilimanjaro mountain.

Helpful, courteous and attentive
I found myself very well. Suricata Safaris staff supported us in every moment of our trip and we were able to visit the slopes of Kilimanjaro and subsequently the parks of Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Our guide Fredrick was very knowledgeable and the chef Tito was always attentive to our needs. You will not regret the choice!
