Amazing safari with dream stayoverd
Suricata safaris is real value for money.Found by my husband on search .Daniel and Halimat from this group who answered all our queries are excellent. Our driver and tour guide,Rocky was truly amazing- teaching us Swahili, setting up a lovely table top in the midst of the forests and providing perfect meals and coffee. The places to stay at night were comfortable getaways with lovely meals and helpful people.Seeing the large number of the big 5 of animals was once in a lifetime. A must visit for all with Suricata safaris of Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tangerine parks.

We had the best time! Exceeded our expectations.
We had the best time. We saw the big 5 and more. The food was amazing. The accommodation was great and the guides and other helpers/chefs were all lovely and a good time.
Not the best communication when you are in Arusha before and after your stay but otherwise amazing.

He created an unforgettable trip for us
We are absolutely enthusiastic about the safari and can recommend it 100%.
We looked at different safaris in our hostel and finally went for this 2 day tour to the Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.
On the first day we were picked up at the hostel in the morning and drove directly to a mall near Arusha Airport. There we could use the time and buy a few more snacks and drinks until our fellow soldiers joined us.
Thereafter, we went on a direct route to the
Tarangire National Park. The drive took about 2 hours. At Maingate we could directly meet the first monkeys and again briefly visit the toilet before we went to the beautiful National Park. This one was simply insane and clearly showed why one should definitely make a safari in Tanzania! We saw elephants, giraffes, lions (not 2 meters away from our car) and monkeys pretty much everything that the Tanzanian wildlife gives. For lunch we went to one of the campsites where there was very tasty food (rice, meat, fried vegetables). After this refreshment we continued our safari and besides many smaller highlights we saw some very large herds of elephants and zebras.
The first day finally ended in a very well maintained lodge with great dinner, music and acrobatics program.
The next morning, after a rich breakfast, we went straight to Nborongoro Crater. There we were also received at the Maingate by very interested baboons (windows and doors better to keep closed ;) ) and we were able to continue directly to the crater. Arrived there we immediately saw the first lions, which stayed right on the road. During the safari we were able to observe several times larger groups of lions (partly also witnessing lion cubs). There were also countless zebras and wildebeest here. The highlight here was definitely the hippopotamus pool with about 15 animals. Also here there was very tasty lunch, similar to the one the day before. After we left the crater in the afternoon we went straight back to Arusha.
Finally only a huge praise remains to our guide Joseph who did a great job and was able to give us some unforgettable memories.

Outstanding experience
There are 2000 safari tour operators. I have experience only with Suricata. Communication with the office was easy and prompt via Whatsap. The descriptions were accurate. The tour was made outstanding by the tour guide, Freddy. He has an amazing knowledge of plants and animals in great detail which he shares with enthusiasm. He has a wonderful sense of humor. The food was excellent. The lodging (we stayed at the medium price level) was excellent and the stay in the Suricata Boma lodge was jaw dropping stunning. All of the staff lived the culture of "Welcome" and made us feel part of a family. There were a few glitches with the front office, but the company responded rapidly and handled the problems with grace, which to me is a mark of honesty and excellence. I highly recommend tours with this company.

Absolutely top
We were for 3 days with Suricata Safari in the Serengeti National Park and in the Ngorongoro Crater and what can I say it was just sooo great! It was top organized and we saw many animals very close!
Our humorous guide Mandela was simply the best! He knew a lot about the Tanzanian wildlife, could answer any of our questions and always brought us as close as possible to the animals!
Highlights of our safari trip were definitely the lion mother with her still very small baby lions & a cheetah with his cubs!
Also for our physical well-being was well taken care of, because Musa enchanted us for breakfast, lunch & dinner with his dishes!
From the organization (the evening before: safari briefing by Daniel) to the end of our safari, we felt completely comfortable and well taken care of
with Suricata Safaris and would book any time again through them and ask for Mandela as a guide!

Mixed
Overall, the adventure went well. In detail, we saw wild animals - that's why we went to Tanzania in the first place - and sometimes they were so close... right next to the jeep's front wheel OMG. We had Mister T, Lewis, Silas as our guides and Piu as a chef in Ngorongoro. On the first day of the safari, the jeep had issues when it exceeded 35 km/h, and we lost a few hours trying to fix it at a Mad Max-style service center :). The response was that it could be repaired if taken elsewhere for a part, and all of us in the group chose to continue using it as it was. On the second day, a different jeep, a different guide, and a different group: this time, the gearbox broke down right before entering the park, before the ticket gate. After a few phone calls done by Silas, we were told that it would be fixed in an hour. After an hour, we were told it would take another 2 hours. After the first hour of the two, we were informed that we would receive a replacement vehicle around 3 - 4:30 pm. After a while, Silas managed to persuade another driver (just entering the park) from a different company to take each of us to our respective accommodations - we drove for 6 hours with only a few stops because it was already getting dark, and the driver didn't have time to return back safely. The vehicles were not properly checked, which posed risks (what if we were already near the group of relaxed lions we photographed next to the front wheel? What if the vehicle didn't start? I'm sure Silas would have found solutions, but I would have preferred not to have these worries :). The first night of accommodation was at Boma Lodge - excellent lodging and food. The second night was at An'gata Lodge - MASH-style tents, a dedicated team - we were escorted to and from the tents by a team member using walkie-talkies; good food. The third night was at a camping tent, and the toilet/shower area needs improvements. Good food cooked by Piu. During the night we were visited by zebras OMG :) I'm glad that, overall, the safari was a success. We took memorable photos/videos and returned safely, with no unpleasant incidents regarding food. I can recommend improvements in communication between guides and tourists AND regular technical checks of the vehicles. Regarding tips, I agree with it up to the point where there is so much pressure that it can be believed that salaries are not paid from the money tourists pay for the safari (and it's not a small amount), and guides rely solely on tips. I hope that is not the case.

A great Company attentive ti the customer
We have chosen suricata safari among many companies and different estimates, certainly the company with the best value for money. The safari was splendid, well organized as timing, excellent and fresh food every day, clean and comfortable accommodation. Our guide Freddie made the safari easy and informative, he was an expert guide and we were able to see so many animals. Do not hesitate to trust this company! I recommend the mid-range safari as the accommodations are comfortable but at the same time you have the opportunity to be in close contact with nature.

Amazing experience with delicious food and an incredible team
First time in Tanzania with my sister and had an amazing time with the team at Suricata. Our guide; Gordon was incredibly accommodating and made sure all members of our group were well taken care of. He also has a vast amount of knowledge to share and a keen eye for spotting the incredible wildlife in the parks. Our chef;
Tito also of himself with all the freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinners we had over for days. Food was top tier and catered to everyone's diets! All tents were prepared and packed perfectly each time we arrived at the campsites by the team of porters behind the scenes.
Speaking of camping, I am not a huge fan of it but this experience certainly made it a comfortable experience.
Transactions were handled smoothly and instructions were clear for each day and activity would proceed. Our group were also very lucky to have seen the big 5 and more on our first two days (four on the first day) with a day to spare. Would highly recommend this team. Asante sana! Thank you for having usp

The best Safari tour operator in Tanzania
Our 6 day camping safari with Suricata was really, really great. We saw everything we wanted and even more.
Rocky is the BEST guide. He is funny, friendly and knows so much about the parks and the animals.
Camping was really good, the company selected great camp sites. The food was perfect. Our cook Jamesi prepared fresh meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and every meal was delicious.
I highly recommend going on a Safari with Suricata.
