Bettee than expected
We did a 2 days safari in Tarangire - Lake Manyara parks. Hilary and our guide Edgar were more than kind and nice. Everything we requested was respected. A very professional team : timings were respected, food was very delicious and game drives were very good ! We were very satisfied of this operator.

Amazing safari with Suricata
We booked the 4-day safari to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire with 3 nights in tents. Our guide was Rocky and he was the best we could have: nice, funny, very experienced, he knows everything you want to know about Tanzanian wildlife and culture. He was always trying to please us and this made the journey memorable. The food by our cook Tito was amazing too, one of the best food we have had in Tanzania so far. He was also adorable and nice. The safari in itself did not disappoint, the landscapes and animals were mind blowing. We would recommend 100% going with Suricata. And if you do, ask for Rocky and Tito, you won’t be disappointed !

Amazing safari tour (4 days 3 nights)
We had an amazing safari journey with Rocky, who is a very interesting and funny guide. This 4 days 3 nights safari trip was beyond our expectations. We saw dozens of animals (including 4 out of 5 of the big fives), on the most beautiful parks near Arusha. The food was excellent (thanks to Tito our cooker during these 4 days), the accommodations were clean and comfortable, and our guide was more than excellent! I strongly recommend Suricata 100% !

A BLAST!
WE HAD A BLAST! Amazing 4 days tour. EVERYTHING fantastic, our guide Vincent and Vendura our Stomach enginer (chef haha) were amazing.
Compared with the other companies we were all always getting closer to the animals, and was the whole time trying to catch all the big fives (for sure we have seen them all!!) Amd the food.. OMG.. pancakes for brakfast, fruit, coffee , peanut butter, bread, jam.. the lunches and dinners.. all made for him the same day, even the bread!!! When you camp the pop up all the kitchen and its such an amazi g experiences. The campsites, amazing sunrises and sunsets...
No more words, definetely the best company BY FAR. Thank you all for these amazing days❤️❤️
(We are 2 and shared the Jeep with a family of 4, so we were 6 in total + guide + chef)

Very good no Problems! The guide was friendly and had a lot of experience
It was a great experience and we were so happy with the whole tour! Our driver was very experienced and showed us every time the animals from the best places. It felt like he has a sense for what way the animal’s are going to walk.
At one time a lion was like 2 meters close to our car that was my highlight.

Very nice safari with wonderful people!
We did a 5 day safari with Suricata Safaris some weeks ago.
It was our first safari so we (family of 4) were really exited what it would bring. We had a jeep for 6 people so 2 others joined us which was fine.
Our driver/guide was Vincent. He was an excellent driver and knew a lot about the animals. Salim was our cook for these 5 days. With the limited resources they have, it as amazing what he could cook for us. We had even lasagna and pizza on our tour.
We started with Tarangire NP on day 1. This is an amazing park where we saw already many animals among which was the Cheeta. We slept the first night at Twiga which is a nice camping/bungalow park with small shop and swimming pool.
The next day we had a long trip via the Ngorongoro crater to Serengeti NP. It was a long drive with not that much so seen on they way there. In Serengeti we did a bit of game drive. In the evening we slept on Pimbi public campsite. There was only a toilet building and a kitchen building, but it was real nice. A giraffe was welcoming us on the campsite when we arrived. All these days we slept in tents on a matrasses with sleeping bag. The next day was a full day game drive in Serengeti which was really amazing. We saw a lot of elephant's, giraffes, zebras, water buffels, gazelles, antelope's etc. At the end we drove back to Ngorongoro crater to the Simba campsite. This is what bigger with more buildings. When we woke up also here a giraffe did great us. After breakfast we went into the crater and saw many lions and water buffels. In this time of the year a rhino is almost impossible to spot, which we didn't but didn't matter, it was nice anyway. Also some nice birds we could spot. At the end we drove back to Twiga campsite and could take a nice dip in the pool. The last day was lake Manyara, this was in our opinion the least park. A lot of monkeys we did see there.
It was for us a great experience and we did see a lot more than we had expected. Also the change in nature was stunning.
As a tip if you go camping, take enough toilet paper because sometimes it ran out on the camp sites.
Our experience was really great and we would recommend Suricata to everyone who want to do a safari!!!!!!!!!

Excellent choice for beginner safaris.
This was our first safari. Transfers from Moshi to jump-off point went smoothly. We stayed overnight in Gateway lodge and then drove to the safari start point early the following morning. Our guide was Max and our cook was Salim. Both were excellent. We entered the parks via Ngorogoro and drove on to Serengeti. We had a 3 hour game drive on the first day and saw plenty of animals. The safari Land Cruiser was extremely comfortable even over the bumpy tracks. We were in a group of 6 which is just the right size for safari. We camped in tents overnight after a very good meal. The next morning we did a long game drive after breakfast. We saw cheetahs and leopards, both of which are difficult to find. After lunch we headed back to Ngorogoro to camp overnight. The camp had a spectacular view of the crater. Another great dinner followed by a night time visit of zebras. The next morning we did a game drive of the crater, which was spectacular. After the game drive we had lunch and then transferred back to Moshi.
Service from Max, Salim and everyone else was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful, including assisting with locating a misplaced phone. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Tent camping was a greasy way to feel closer to the animals and nature. Salim’s cooking was fantastic and all the meals were tasty and plentiful. Finally, transfers from and to Moshi were all very smooth.
For such an unforgettable experience, with everything very well managed, I am very happy to recommend Suricata Safaris.

5 unvergessliche Tage!
With Suricata Safaris we were taken on a real dream safari through four national parks.
Even before the trip, starting with the organization, everything went smoothly. Any question was answered immediately by Hilary (the co-owner) via WhatsApp, so we were able to easily extend our trip to Arusha for a night for a good price to match our flights. We were always picked up on time, be it from the airport or by our driver and guide Mandela, who showed us (4 people) and two other nice guests the best of Tanzania over the 5 days. Mandela, who completed a three-year college education as a guide and already has 8 years of professional experience, did an excellent job here. With his knowledge and experience he was able to explain the wildlife to us and he always knew where to position the car for the best wildlife sightings and photos. So we were always up front when there was something to see.
For us, Tarangire and Serengeti National Park were the highlights of our 5-day safari. In addition to the BIG 5 (elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino (the latter unfortunately only being visible from a little further away), we were also able to see cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, hippos and many more. Some of them could also be heard at night.
The accommodations also invite you to relax after an eventful day. The first two nights (outside the parks) the lodge had a pool and a nice view of the countryside. On the other two days, the accommodations were even located in the national parks.
We would definitely recommend Suricata Safaris for a safari as it is well thought out and executed from start to finish. This also shows the lunch. This was freshly prepared every day, so that Surciata Safaris can do without lunch boxes and the amounts of waste they produce.
In summary, one can say that every day of our 5-day safari from Suricata was provided with many highlights.

Professional, reliable, provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience
We had a great experience doing a 5 day safari in lodges and tented camps. Our guides were Lewis and George, and our chef was Tito. All of them were outstanding at their jobs. We learned a lot and felt well cared-for.
I traveled with my sister, and we had booked online about a month in advance with Cross to Africa Safaris. We suspect that we were the only ones signed up for our group-joining safari on those dates so traveled with Suricata instead. This meant that the itinerary differed very slightly from what we expected and that everyone else in our group actually did budget camping while we were taken to lodges each night. That being said, we were flexible and had an incredible time. Since Suricata had also not been the one to give us the initial itinerary, this made sense and was fine!
This was our first experience doing a safari, and we LOVED everything about it. We saw all of the Big 5 (including a rhino and her baby!), as well as other unique things like a lioness hunting a gazelle for breakfast! Our guides did an outstanding job of taking us to the best spots, teaching us, and stopping when we asked!
I would seriously consider returning for another safari because of how wonderful this was, and if I went back to Tanzania, I would gladly book with Suricata Safaris. I highly recommend this company!
