Simply Outstanding
Simply outstanding. From the beginning, Suricata tailored the plan to my girlfriend and my specific requests (we wanted extra time in the Serengeti and to camp in the parks, over a 6 day tour), and they offered detailed insights as to their recommendations on times and locations. When our flight was delayed by 12 hours, they worked around the issue and picked us up directly at the airport.
We also cannot say enough about our guide Ezekiel. He was exceptionally kind and funny, and knowledgeable about his country and about all four of the parks we visited. He knew every animal and plant we saw, with endless fun facts about them, and navigated the parks with ease, taking us to spots he knew were often best for extraordinary sightings. We saw multiple of virtually every animal imaginable (the big five plus many more), often without the annoying presence of 20+ other cars because of his ability to find them in spots far from the main roads. For example, we saw a mother cheetah hunting with her two cubs, a family of lions feeding on a kudu, a leopard sleeping in an acacia, and countless 20+ herds of elephants, all completely isolated from other cars, or with just one other car in the vicinity. He took time to bring us to particularly photogenic landscape points, as I enjoy photography, and was also friends with seemingly every guide we passed, stopping to quickly chat and catch up about any special sightings, which often led to further exceptional finds.
As we had selected the camping option, Suricata also provided us a chef for the entire trip, Chef Tito. A master of his craft, and using the minimal utensils and space afforded by campground facilities - without electricity or running drinking water, and in remote places without access to additional foods, he cooked up feasts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, mixing local specialities with international fare, always giving us far more than we could eat (4-6 distinct plates for each meal, with a starter, fresh fruit and dessert at lunch and dinner, and never repeating any except those we specifically requested again!) - and always absolutely delicious. The food was regularly of higher quality than we receive at restaurants in Europe, despite highly challenging cooking conditions. He even made us a unique cake every night, using charcoal fire and a Dutch oven, and showed us his techniques and recipes.
The logistics were managed without a hiccup, despite our flight delay, and they helped us get sim cards, essentials, and fresh breakfast each day, despite regular 545am starts to see the best game. The tent they provided was spacious (pictured in our camp at Ngorongoro), the cots very comfortable, and the campsites the selected were amazing - we had giraffes, buffaloes, and zebras pass just by the camp on multiple occasions, and lions and hyenas pass by in the night - perhaps not for everyone, but amazing to us!
Can I say more? Book with Suricata today, you will not be disappointed!
(Brief comment just to say that we posted the same review here and on TripAdvisor to make sure it is seen by viewers in both places! We checked both when looking for our safari)

Incredible experience
I went on a two-day Safari trip with Suricata safaris and I am still amazed by how great it was. The morning of the first day, their driver picked me up at the airport and made sure I was on time to join the group. We went to the Ngorongoro conservation area first, which is a breathtaking place. The guide was very knowledgeable and kind, was telling us facts about animals and plants that we saw. In the car there were snacks and water. The lunch was delicious as well. At the end of the first day the guide drove me to the lodge, which was one of the most beautiful lodges I've ever been to. The next day we continued to Tarangire national park and saw even more animals. At the end of that day the guide drove me to the hotel where I left my bag and then they arranged transport for me to get to the accomodation I booked. Overall it was absolutely worth the money spent. The communication was also efficient, the team answered my emails with questions promptly and were helpful. Thank you Suricata safari for this incredible experience.

My wife and I wanted to do a safari tour as soon as we were in Moshi/Arusha. We then organized suricata fond and everything with them just a day before our trip!

Amazing
We had a great experience with Suricata Safaris. Before the safari started they picked us up in the airport, offered a hotel in the centre of Arusha and we could visit the city with a guide, who showed us the main spots and recommended a great restaurant for eating. During the safari we could meet very cool and nice people, and our driver Flori always looked for the best spots to see the animals, we saw a lion less than 2mt away!! Musa, the cook, did his job in perfection and we could enjoy all the typical dishes while in the camp!
The worst part of the adventure was the cold shower we had to take every day in the camp to take all the dust from the sabana out, but it was really worth it!
100% real adventure, 1000% recommended!

100% recommended from beginning to the end
The Safari has been an amazing experience. We were able to share it with a very nice group. Our driver and cook were available for questions and helping us to live the experience to the fullest. We also shared good moments at the public campings.
