The most amazing tour in Arusha!
Materuni waterfall and Chema hotspring were incredible. I enjoyed so much the hike to the waterfall, the coffee making, the food at the Materuni village, and the hot spring. Me. T was an excellent guide. He was very attentive, funny and had the best camera skills. He took amazing pictures during the day.
If you come to Tanzania, I highly recommend this tour with Suricata. They will arrange everything for you, so you just relax and enjoy the experience.
Thank you to the Suricata team and Mr. T!!
I'll definitely do the Kilimanjaro hike with you. Everything exceeded my expectations.

A Perfect Safari
I did extensive research on all the different safari companies in Tanzania; there are a ton! I ultimately ended up with Suricata because their pricing is competitive especially with regard to the mid-level lodging, which I highly recommend. We went with a 5 day, 4 night safari. Leading up to the safari, Hillary was very communicative via WhatsApp. He answered all my questions and sent videos and pics of the different food, as well as lodging options. Our Precision Air flight was changed at the last minute to Kilimanjaro Airport, an hour away from our original destination of Arusha but Suricata kindly picked us up and took us with little notice. Lewis was our guide and he was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and easy going! He also made sure to go where all the animals are; he knows the spots! We saw multiple cheetahs, lions, and leopards. We saw a cheetah eating, lion cubs playing, and even a black rhino! Because of him, we were able to see the Big 5, the ugly 5 and more. He also was great at showing us the birds and knew what all of them were. I enjoyed all his random facts about the animals. As for the mid-level lodging, we were very pleased with it. Marera lodge was beautiful, and the two nights of tented lodging was an unforgettable experience. We saw a giraffe, elephants and Buffalo outside our tent at night! The food was also great. We didn’t get food poisoning at all and looked forward to each meal. We also liked that the package includes a hotel stay the night before and after your safari if you need it. One pro tip is to make sure to wear comfy clothes and sandals/shoes since you will mostly be sitting all day in the car. If you end up choosing Suricata, make sure to ask for Lewis! I would go with Suricata again if I ever want to do to a Tanzanian Safari again (maybe in September for the Wildebeest migration).

Amazing safari experience
This was an amazing safari trip - definitely a must do if you visit the Arusha region. We did the 3-day Serengeti and Ngorongoro trip, which I think is the best option if you're time-limited. We saw the big 5 plus lots more, and watching the scenery transform as you travel between the parks is really something. We traveled with our guide, James, and cook, Samin, who were both really warm, friendly and knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend Suricata Safaris.
My only tip is that it will be a bumpy car ride on some of the national park roads, so keep that in mind if you have back troubles!

Amazing safari experience with great accommodations
Had a great trip in Feb experiencing the calving season with Suricata safari. I was solo traveling and this company structures their tours in a way that allows people to start their safari everyday (or almost everyday). As a result, even if I was just by myself, I was able to join a group tour on the day that fits my holiday timing.
The 5 day safari was amazing. Love our guides Jimmy and Lewis. They gave insightful info about the wildlife, the region and the plants. We also saw the big five many times. Because it was calving season (Feb), we also saw lots of babies like baby buffalo, baby lions, baby elephants, baby zebras, baby giraffes and etc.
The mid-range safari option was exceptional. The accommodations we stayed at felt like luxury more than mid-range. They all have well furnished rooms with private toilet. At the tented camp lodge in the National park, it was my favorite part as elephants and buffalos stopped by to pay a visit. It was quite a unique experience.
Before and after the safari, Ally would check in to see how the tour went and go over any questions you might have.
Overall phenomenal experience! Thanks for making this possible.

Excellent 3 day safari - Serengeti and Ngorogongo
We went on a 3 day safari to Serengeti and Ngorogongo National parks which was fantastic. Our guide James was very knowledgeable and friendly, and our chef Samin cooked some amazing food. The safari was very well organised and the tents were very comfortable. We saw all the big 5, plus much more, and James was very patient to give us time to see the different animals. Overall would highly reccomend Suricata Safaris.

The best operators in Tanzania!
The cooks/food (Musa) was incredible. The guide (Mandela) made sure we saw the big 5 +. He had the eye of an eagle and the spirit of a lion. Trucks were safe. Overall an incredible experience. Highly recommended.

The trip was better than expectations; best food, best time, 100% recommend.
This trip was above any and all expectations.
Our guide (Mandala) was an amazing driver, very knowledgeable and honestly the best to be around all week! He made sure we saw as much as we could and we even saw the Big 5! Our cook (Musa) blew our minds with how good the food was every day!
We travelled with a group of 4 friends but decided no to go on a private tour. We met a lot of new friends from all over the world and I think this trip would be good for any age group!
We decided to camp and that was definitely one of my personal highlights! The tents were clean, strong, stayed dry, and the mats were very comfortable.
I will be back one day and 100% recommend Suricata Safaris

Mandela had the knowledge of one thousand men and the strength of six elephants
It was a trip that will never be forgotten. Our guide Mandela was a wealth of knowledge and experience, and made the experience an absolute pleasure. His eye for wildlife is unparalleled; spotting camouflaged animals from great distances, and placing us in all the hot spots to view nature so close you can taste it.
Our chef Musa had the cooking skills of a Michelin starred chef, and prepared some of the best food I’ve experienced abroad, whilst on the road with us. Incredible talent, not to be forgotten.
We saw the whole cast and crew on the lion king.
