Once in a lifetime experience
We had an amazing time with our tour guide Mandella. He was highly educated and knew so much about the land and animals from being a tour guide for almost a decade. The food blew out expectations out of the water.

I cannot recommend Suricata enough!
I cannot recommend Suricata enough! Elias our guide was wonderful. He is clearly extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He also was fantastic at getting great views of wildlife sightings without disturbing the wildlife itself which was very important to us. We saw other companies going off road/getting too close to the animals but Elias never did and neither did the other Suricata vehicles convoying with us. The team setting up camp and cooking were amazing - friendly and extremely helpful. We are both vegetarian and the food was incredible- very flavourful and always so much of it! We had the most wonderful experience and would definitely use them again in the future/recommend to a friend.

Amazing group camping safari
Suricata provided an amazing safari experience. Our guide Elias was very knowledgable about the wildlife and area, and was very respectful of the wildlife when driving, sticking to the roads and giving the wildlife a good distance whilst still getting us in a position for great views all round. We were catered for very well, always enough and tasty food and the camp and catering staff were always friendly and helpful!

Best safari ever!
We did the 4 day tour staying in tented lodges. The food and accomodation was amazing and all the staff at the accomodations were so helpful and welcoming. The accomodations far exceeded our expectations and were incredibly good value - most of them also had wifi which we were not expecting!
Our driver Max was incredible and we saw the big 5 across the 4 days. Max was very knowledgeable of the parks and animals and answered all our questions and gave us lots of information on the animals. We had some keen photographers in our group and Max was always incredibly patient and made extra effort to get the truck in a good position to take the best photos of the animals and get good light. Hilary, Ally and Max all made sure we had the best trip and I could not recommend suricata enough. If you’re planning a safari in Tanzania then these guys will make sure you have the best experience possible!

Absolutely fantastic
Dear readers, as a solo female traveler I like to join a group Safari/tours to meet new people. So because Suricata already had great reviews I chose them. The communication with the owner Hilary was fantastic. He replied quickly and also kind and to the point. Then the Safari itself our driver was Edgar and chef Tito. We had a fantastic group of people that also chosen to do the camping. During the 5 day Safari Edgar gave us interesting information and knew how to spot the animals. He is kind and knows a lot (he has 22 years of experience) and then chef Tito… what can I say great food! Every time he delivered an oooh and an aaah from us his guests. All camping sites were great and clean except for camping Simba. The location is great however the gouvernement doesn’t maintain the bathrooms and they are disgusting and there are no “normal” toilets so you need to know how to squat. Sadly there isn’t another option of camping in ngorongoro, so just go with the flow. The camping site at Serengeti however is wauw!!!! Absolutely beautiful and amazing, you can de lions roar and hyena’s laugh as they were next to your tent. Tips for the 5 day camping share Safari in February; bring toilet paper, bring just light shoes (no hiking boots are necessary as you will be in the jeep at all times), slippers for the shower, good camera, swimming ware as in one of the camping there is a swimming pool and happy spirits as you will find no better Safari as at Suricata!! Next year we will come back with some of the group and book a private Safari with Suricata. Thank you Hilary, Edgar, Tito, mr. T, Ally and Rocky for this absolutely beautiful and fantastic experience ❤️

Professional, efficient, caring , knowledgeable and very accommodating
Frederick our guide and driver ensured that our expectations were met, a font of knowledge a great spotter, lovely sense of humour, very professional and a credit to Suricata and Tanzania, the whole process from booking, airport pickup the safari and airport drop off went smoothly our thanks to Hilary and the whole Suricata team, we chose the Angata camps which were very well run, thanks to all the teams at Sera, Noutu and Ngorongoro camps, we chose February to hopefully see the great migration and calving of Wildebeest and Zebra were we're not disappointed! We saw animals in their tens of thousands a truly amazing adventure and experience, of course we saw the big 5 and numerous other species of mammals and birds. We toured Tarangiri to Manyara Lake to Serengeti Central, Ndutu including conservation area and last but certainly not least Ngorongoro Caldera all National park areas managed very well by the government.

An out-of-this-world safari experience!!
I can't tell you how much our safari exceeded our expectations! From the word go, we were so well taken care of. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. He made sure our needs were met and we got to see the Big 5 and so much more! Furthermore, our cook was a rock star! How he could prepare such great-tasting meals in the middle of nowhere is beyond me!
Do not hesitate to book your safari with this company! You won't be disappointed!
