Serengeti/Ngorongoro safari
Excellent company! Very knowledgeable guides, went during the rainy season and still saw lots of animals. Daniel gave me a thorough briefing of the safari and Rocky was a wonderful driver and guide. Highly recommend!

Very highly recommend!
This 5 day safari was the adventure of a lifetime and I have absolutely NO complaints. Fred is an amazing person who is an incredibly experienced and knowledgeable guide. Our family of five were also very well fed by our friendly Chef Salim who cooked delicious food for every meal. Fred and Salim taught us much about their beautiful country and nothing was too much trouble for either of them. The entire outfit was very professional from the time we were collected by Daniel at the airport to the time we were dropped back. The opportunity to experience such a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat is something I will never forget and it was made all the more memorable by Suricata Safaris. Asante sana Fred, Salim and Daniel (from the King family

Perfect Safari
I did a lot of research before booking a safari company but suricata safaris still exceeded my expectations. I think it was really great value and we got more than what we paid for.
Pros
- great communication from Hilary before booking and leasing up to the safari. We had to make several changes to start dates, number of people etc and they were very accomodating
- our transfer driver Daniel was really lovely, he made us feel welcome, and gave us a great introduction to our Safari
- our guide, Fred, was just perfect. He was really kind, patient, funny and was able to answer all of our questions. Even the really tricky ones!
- our cook Salim was very passionate and friendly, he was very accomodating, and always asking us what we wanted.
- the facilities at the camping sites were just fine. Nothing flash but that’s what you get when camping. However, the locations were beautiful and each park was so different. All of the logistics are very easy as well because the staff organise everything for you
- nothing is too much, everybody was very kind patient and accomodating.
- November is a bit wet but we really liked it, it was a bit cooler and very green. And the staff still made everything really easy even with the wet weather.
Cons
- I wish I booked more days!

Exquisite
Had an amazing safari experience through Suricata Safaris. Fred was our guide and he was a consummate professional and extremely friendly and accommodating towards myself and my family. He was very knowledgeable with the wildlife, national parks and flora/fauna. We also had Salim as our chef for the trip and he was also another consummate professional and extremely kind human being. He made us beautiful meals and also provided an exotic variety of different meals and dishes that were cooked to perfection. We really lucked out to have both Fred and Salim and I would highly recommend them for anyone wishing to experience a wholesome and informative safari adventure.

Great guide, fantastic chef, friendly staff
We just finished our 4 day safari with Suricata and it was great! We were picked up from JRO and headed straight to the first park. Our guide Elias was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and able to spot the animals even from a great distance. We were given 3 fresh cooked meals per day by Tito and the food was delicious!
We opted for the camping accommodations which are definitely basic but get the job done and made the experience feel even more authentic. Things to note if you’re doing the camping: you absolutely need your own towel, shower shoes and toilet paper (also a flashlight would’ve been helpful but we got by with our phones).
All-in-all we had a great time, saw lots of animals and beautiful views and would recommend Suricata to other travelers.

Unbeatable experience
An incredible and unbeatable experience. Our guide was Lewis and he was fantastic. He took us to the places where we could find more animals, he looked for the best point to photograph them and he explained very interesting things to us about the animals we saw. On the other hand, thank James for the spectacular homemade food he has made. Finally, a visit to the banana fields, highly recommended to immerse yourself in Tanzanian culture in its entirety.

Great company to show Tanzanian culture and to show national parcs and their animals
We really enjoyed the Safari, It was about 5 days doing Central serengeti, ngorongoro conservation area, ngorongoro crater, lake manyara and Tarangire. It was amazing and a great season for doing a safari in Tanzania.
We had all the 5 days same guide/driver and he explained a lot of things about animals, He always was going to the places where are the animals which are rare to see, really recomend to do a safari and to do it with Suricata Safari.
For free one evening we visit the village near of Twinga campsite, It was really nice to understand the culture and costumes of all Tanzania people.
For the food It was allways hand made from a ome person of the company so was tasty and nice to take this common foos in Tanzania.
We allways had what ever we need in terms of food and drink.
Last thing to mention was that we spend all nights at campsites which was really authentic and enjoyable. For Dik Dik and Simba campsites we were on the middle of the nature, so animals are free to go through it.

3Day safari sleeping in tent/ Serengeti/Ngorongoro
Jambo! We booked the safari via Suricata Safaris because our friend had recomnend their company to us. We took The 3day safari sleeping in tents and I highly recommend that to get the best safari experience!
We did The safari in The end of November and The short rain season did not bother us. Usually it rained only for 1h in The middle of The Day. Temperature were sth between 22-25 degrees ,perfect ,escpecially when it does not get too hot in the car! Because of the small amount of rain yes ,sometimes the roads were muddy but did not affect the experience for us. Our driver did not go If he saw that The Road was not good to drive and If there would Be Any chance to get stuck - safety first. When it rains The nature is so green and The Air is so easy to breath!
Being offline , sleeping in tent for 2 nights in Serengeti & Ngorongoro is something I would call an adventure! The first night when arriving to the camp we saw a leopard and an elephant close to The camp , scary & exciting at The same Time ! The leopard was 30m from us ,The elephand came like 4m from Our tent! Our guide / driver Max and our masterchef Pisou made the whole experience 10/10. Max knew so much about The Animals and we were able to see all Big 5 Animals ! Max also were thinking in safety first way which in my opinion is super important when being around wild animals ! Max were so friendly and professional at The same time ! He made sure everyone was okey all The Time ! We were on our honeymoon and were lucky to share the car and the once in a lifetime experience with an other honeymoon couple in same age! We had so much fun & in the end of The trip everyone felt a little bit sad when saying goodbye to each other. We became really close with the whole group when sharing incredible moments together. Choose Suricata Safaris if you want the authentic safari experience and Make sure to stay open minded & ready for an adventure!
Ps. The food was so good & sometimes you forgot you are at a safari , not at a restaurant. Wow!
PSS. We did The whole booking by ourself and it was so easy to do the booking, you just start with sending them a message via their homepage!
PSSS: You get a packing list what to bring , I would add some wet wipes and a flashlight at the List and do remember to bring warm clothes! During daytime it is really hot but at night Time it gets little cold and a hoodie & jacket is handy at that point :)
Luckily we hade all those with us but just a tip ,hope it helps :)
Asante Suricata Safaris!
Hakuna Matata!

Amazing safari experience!
The safari was so awesome! Everything went smoothly, we had 3-days safari in the tents for the authentic adventure experience and it was so good! Even saw all of the Big 5 amongst other animals. Everything was excellent, clean and we felt safe. The guide Max and the chef Piut were great, food was good and the guide knew all the spots and routes! Be sure to ask if they're available for your trip and you surely wont regret!
Communication, hotels and airport transport also on good level!
11/10 amazing!!
