Great Guide! Flexible Company
For the most part the company did a good job of communicating particularly over WhatsApp. By far our highlight was our guide Rocky. Great Safari!

Family safari with Suricata safaris
We booked a tailored 5 days safari tour with Suricata safaris , taking us to the lake manyara, tarangerine, Serengeti and Ngorongoro park.
Our hotels were the Suricata Boma lodge and the luxury tent Ang’ata seregenti camp and Ngorongoro Ang’ata camp , all 3 were as described by the tour operator and amazing in terms of lodging, food and facilities.
The airport transfer were taking cared of and both briefing by Mr T and debriefing by Mr Daniel gave us the right informations and the attention it deserved.
The car used for the tour was in very good condition with a nice inside set up which was a plus due to the amount of time we spent in it.
Our driver and guide, Mr Freddy was just amazing, an excellent and careful driver who managed to always pass trough muddy and difficult road when others got stuck.
The best of all was that we managed to see all the big 5 several times and countless of other grass eaters, we were probably very lucky too but our guide new where and when to go and it worked like a charm.
The plus was the solution of hot meals for lunch prepared by Mr Tito when other tour operator had to share classic lunch boxes.

Great experience with Suricata Safari and Rocky as our excellent guide.
We had a great experience with Suricata Safari! Communication before and after the trip was excellent, with friendly discussions and feedback opportunities. Our group safari consisted of six people, but there was plenty of space in the vehicle for everyone.
Our guide, Rocky, was incredibly friendly and highly competent. He responded to our wishes immediately and made sure we had the best possible experience. The food was another highlight—our cook, Pius, prepared meals every day and everything was absolutely delicious.
The camps were also very well organized. The tents were spacious and always set up by the time we arrived at the camp, making everything stress-free and comfortable.
All in all, a perfect experience—5/5, highly recommended!

Great Suricata Safari
This is a well-organised and excellent itinerary to deep dive Tanzania. I traveled alone at the end of Jan and this trip went far beyond my expectations. I spent 6 days exploring the Serengati, Ngorongoro, Manyara lake. This was the second time I did safari in Africa and saw packs of lions, elephants, Hippo and even lepard, which is rarely to be found even in Tanzania! My accommodations and meals were fabulous and the staff at each safari camp went above and beyond to give me a memorable experience.
Davis and Daniel provided detailed and well-designed planning before the trip. They were quick to respond and willing to answer questions. I also want to recognize Golden's effort to smooth and enrich the whloe trip. He followed the whole trip, covering introduction, meal, driving and accommodate all requests. He was exceptionally nice and helpful. I will be recommending Suricata to anybody who is interested in exploring Tanzania.

Suricata absolutely blew our minds!
Amazing first safari trip! Daniel met us at the hotel, fresh off our plane flight and gave us a full briefing. Baraka was our tour guide for our 5 day trip. He routinely blew us away with his knowledge of the animals and the parks. Baraka and a couple other suricata guides communicated often to find the animals. By all their experience and communition we were able to see all 5 big game animals, including many many others. They also did a great job respecting the animals, the parks, and the other tours making sure everyone got a chance to see. The lodging was amazing! Suricata boma lodge blew our minds! The bush camps were very nice aswell, set up perfectly for what you need and all the host were extremely nice. Will never forget hearing the lions roar in the night! Salim was our chef and he did a great job! Food was delicious and plentiful! At the end Daniel will debrief with you making extra sure they can provide the best experience! Thank you suricata team!

Incredible
This company was fantastic to travel with!! My husband and I came from Canada for our honeymoon and had the most INCREDIBLE experience! From the start they answered all questions efficiently through WhatsApp prior to booking. Upon arrival Daniel gave a briefing and everything went as they promised! Our guide was Baraka who was phenomenal!!!! We saw every animal imaginable and he gave so much information about each as we saw them. Next let me outline the lodging…..the Suricata Boma Lodge is out of this world!!! What a gorgeous escape where you can swim and see Zebras walking near the lake. Then were the bush camps which were both unbelievable experiences!! Each took such good care of us and were eager to be amazing hosts! The national parks were outstanding. I would recommend this to anyone!!!

Marvelous!
A magnificent experience, the places are enchanting, nature gives the best of itself, having the opportunity to observe the animals that live there is unmatched, we relied on SURICATA, they greatly simplified everything for us since after the contact they come to pick you up from the airport, followed by hotel accommodation and recovery for departure, so no worries, everything for us went well from the food to the company, safety, I was very satisfied with our guide Max who showed me great respect for the places visited and the animals. I heartily recommend the experience

Excellent
Exceptional experience, from start to finish. Excellent service when they pick you up at the airport, they give you accommodation for the night before the safari and the night after. Daniel was very good and super helpful in welcoming us. The safari is wonderful, at times moving, we saw so many animals, well accompanied by the guide Max who was prepared and attentive.
Excellent food both in the lodges where we rested and the one prepared by chef Salim. The first lodge, the one in Suricata, is truly a masterpiece. The other two that are inside the parks are also beautiful. Hearing the lions roar at midnight is incredible.
Overall rating 11/10! Excellent choice!

Even better than expected! Loved it!
We did the budget (camping) 4 day tour and absolutely loved it. We were very happy with our tour guide 'Melita'. He was very knowledgable and we loved his fun facts. He knows how to read the animals and explained that he will not approach animals if he deems them unsafe (e.g. if elephants are in Musth). We found the tents durable, very clean and good quality. The pillows and sleeping bags provided were clean and comfortable.
Food provided by the chef James was amazing and he catered to my partner who has a gluten intolerance! Made him separate pancakes, soups etc. Delish food.
On one of the days, because it's rainy season with a lot of mud, our car got stuck in the mud for a while. Let me tell you, it was a fun experience. It's all about your mindset and attitude! You can be grumpy or enjoy the adventurem We made the most of it and enjoyed sunset in the Serengeti, and got to see a crocodile, lions and a hippo when driving back to the campsite.
We managed to see the big 5 and we were so grateful for the whole experience!
HELPFUL TIPS: 1) Just politely tell your guide when you are all ready to move on from one animal 'stop' to another. It would be easy to feel bored and complacent, OR your group can agree to say when they're content to move on together and let the driver know.
2) Pack warm clothes for staying in Ngorongoro National Park. 3) If camping, rent/buy a headtorch for showers and hanging from the roof of your tent etc as there isn't always good lighting. 4) I can't stress this enough- it is 100% WORTH hiring/buying binoculars for each person or you will miss out. 4) Consider a battery pack for your phones as campsites power points are often used by others 5) Be forward with your guide and chef and advocate your needs or curiosities 6) If you opt to visit the Maasai Village (it is brilliant), be prepared to tip them separately or be asked to buy jewellery etc to support the women. 7) Be prepared to rough it when you're camping. Like anywhere in the world, campsite showers etc may have bugs. 8) Take snacks for your car rides. 9) Just do your best to have a good attitude. 10) The drives are long- take a book, headphones, crossword.
We had the time of our lives and may do this tour again, even. Take the plunge!
