Superb
The team was just so much fun, my family had a ball and we look forward to canoeing again next year.

A truly special experience, a must on your trip to Africa
We loved everything about our canoe Safari. The animals, the scenery, the excitement, the peacefulness, the guides who were extremely knowledgeable, the equipment and the food. We couldn't fault it! It was the best part of our three week trip to four countries in Africa.

Great experience with fantastic guiding
We were a bit nervous canoeing on the Zambezi River, but our guides TK, Trust, and Emmanuel made us feel welcome and at home in their wonderful country. Some of the meals we had were better than what we have in the fancy lodges and there was just a very personal feeling to the whole experience. I wouldn't pick anyone other than Natureways to guide me down the Zambezi!

Elephants, Hippos and Spectacular African Nature
The Fish Eagle Safari was much better than I had expected. Everyday brought some amazing aspect whether it was the quiet mornings on the Zambezi River, blazing sunsets, hippos everywhere, Zambian fishermen in their handmade mokoros, beautiful birds, etc. Going to sleep looking at the stars from my tent while listening to the calls of the hippos echoing across the water is something else. The best part was the unexpected appearances of elephants, especially the group of 7 that crossed the channel to our island, checked out our camp, then moved on. Seeing them still there behind our camp in the morning was just another one of the thrilling aspects of this trip. For a camping trip the food was surprisingly good, fresh tasting, had variety, and was nicely presented. There was a safety brief at the beginning of the trip and each day there was a discussion of what we would do the next day, how to act and react in the various situations. I always felt safe and had every confidence in the guides who seemed to have comprehensive knowledge about every animal, bird, plant and insect there is. The office staff were extremely helpful in not only booking the trip, but also in providing advice on pre and post trip transportation and accommodations. This trip is one that I will never forget. Check out the photos on the Natureways Facebook page.

Fantastic way to experience nature
We spent 5 nights on the Fisheagle canoeing safari from Kariba to Mana Pools and 3 nights hiking at Chitake. It was the most amazing experience!
Canoing down the Zambezi is awesome: the landscape along the river and the river itself keeps changing throughout the trip and you see more and more game the closer you get to Mana. Our guides Takesure and Manu were very professional and entertaining: we felt perfectly safe at any time, heard lots of interesting facts and stories and enjoyed very good meals every day.
Chitake is a very special place. It is very remote and you hardly see any other people. Our camp was set up right at the riverbed which turned into an elephant highway every night. Exploring the area with our very experienced and knowledgable guides Craig and Elijah, we saw lots of plains game but also elephant, buffalo and lion close by.
Highly recommended to everyone who loves nature and wants to travel off the beaten track!

2nd canoe trip in as many years--both fantastic
Last year was the Mopane canoe and this year I did a private 3-night trip with the Shoreline itinerary, but camping on the islands. Outstanding combo. Guides Norman and Manu were excellent and we saw probably 150 elephants on the trip, plus many other mammals and birds. The day I spent in Natureways camp before leaving on the canoe trip was rewarding. We saw animals from the vehicle and on foot.
The trip was booked through Doug Macdonald because the bulk of my Mana Pools trip was with him. I appreciated this unusual hybrid trip being made available to me.

Africa at its best - encounters with Mother Nature at eye-level
The 6-day-canoe-safari with Natureways was one of the best - if not THE best - African experience we´ve ever had. From start to end it was the perfect trip.
Beginning with the super friendly and highly responsive reservation manager Kelly-Anne during planning and booking it continued throughout the journey with the professional and reliable organization, the experienced friendly and knowledgable guides Norman, Manu and Trust and also includes the variety of meals and catering - our expecations were exceeded each day.
Paddeling down the crystal clear Zambesi waters one finds himself or herself surrounded by great landscapes and wildlife. During the numerous encounters with Hippos, Crocs, Elephants and also at night in our little tent we always felt safe and secure.
Being so close to nature, looking at an unspoiled starry sky and jumping into the refreshing clear Zambesi water is just an unforgettable experience!

Unique safari experience, without the dust and noise
Very safe guides, excellent catering, wonderful sights and animals. Have been on two other Zambezi canoe safaris, they are always good and the best way of getting close to animals without disturbing them.
Pleasantly surprised to see ice-cold drinks still possible after 4 days!
