Explore the animals at Mana Pools from a different perspective and always feel safe!
We had a warm welcome with a great team (staff and guides) and always felt very comfortable. The guides (Mark and Manu) were very experienced, they had humor too and we learned a lot about nature and animals. Sometimes we were lucky spotting the animals, sometimes we just enjoyed nature with hidden animals. It was a great pleasure to walk around and be face to face with the animals!
Of course the living was different than in other lodges, but more wild life!
Thanks a lot and see you again!

An unforgettable privilege canoeing in Mana Pools with our guides
Natureways canoe safari in Mana Pools was most definitely the highlight of our 2 weeks in Zimbabwe and one of the best holidays of my several trips to Africa. We had awesome guides in Mark and Elijah. Not only were they great fun, but they were also amazing hosts, so attentive to our party of 3 and keen to share their expert wildlife knowledge. Experts in navigating the mighty Zambezi too! The camp was comfortable and was set on the riverbank in a new location each night. Camp staff cooked wonderful dishes and served a 3 course meal from an open fire. What could be more amazing that waking each day to an open fire with fresh coffee to watch the magnificent African sun rise listening to the dawn chorus and hippos grunting. If wildlife is your thing, I would thoroughly recommend this experience, it was unforgettable. Thank you Natureways you were awesome!

Truely wonderful experience
Can't speak highly enough for the time we had with Mark and the team. Three days canoeing down the Zambezi with my two sisters. The sights, the scenes and the truly amazing food. Stops for drinks and lunch on banks. So much wild life and wonderful bird life all named and information given by the guides. Just enough feeling of danger to know we are in the wilds of Africa but having the comfort of knowing we were in the care of Mark and Elijah. The highlight of our safari holiday

Exceptional experience in the wild Mana ¨Pools with excellent and safe guiding and services
Very efficient and responsive back-office. Amazing experience of a 4 days canoeing trip on the almighty Zambezi. Extremely good and safe guiding with 2 rangers for our family of 5 ( with children aged 19, 17 and 14). Simple but comfortable accomodation in tents. Great staff and excellent food. We loved the diversity of canoeing, walking and driving, all with the same team.

This one of the best, authentic and varied safaris you can do, highly recommended!
We are in the safari business ourselves (Safarifrank.com) so we talk from a perspective of some extensive experience. The mobile safari of Natureways along the Zambezi is a fantastic and REAL wilderness experience. The groups and camps are small and intimate and the land and water guides, Andy and TK, are some of the best we have come across. Combine that with great hospitality, food and spectacular wildlife experiences and the scene is set for one the best adventure safaris that you can experience! Where else can you camp on the river under private canvas, canoe along the channels of the Zambezi, walk the flood plain and do game drives too?
Pretty spectacular. Thanks guys we had a blast!

Tamarind Safari: Fantastic Experience in Zambezi with the best guides!
I made the Tamarind Safari, which was 4 days and 3 nights canoeing from Chirundu to Mana Pools & sleeping in sand islands in Zambezi . It has been one of the most beautiful experiences I have had. Our Guide "Zera" had more than 25 years experience, and you need someone that really knows the hippos... The Safari is a mix of total contact and peace with Nature, while you canoe in the midst of the sunrise but then the adventure of passing by through thousands of hippos. The sunset in Vundu Island was amazing... and even the food was really good. I think its the best way to know a natural park like Mana Pools. Highly recommendable!

Great Guides + Incredible Adventure
We just finished the Tamarind Canoe Safari. Our guides were top knotch (ask for Zera and Manu if you can!) and the scenery stunning. A trip we will never forget!

A more adventurous perspective!
After a number of game drives in Zimbabwe and Botswana, the Tamarind canoe trip with Natureways gave us a new and adventurous perspective on wildlife viewing. Also a healthy respect for hippo's! Though there were a few adrenalin fuelled moments, our guides Zera and Kenneth were thoroughly safe, professional and fun. Kenneth was a pretty good cook too. Their knowledge of the animals and birds we saw was amazing.
Right from the pick up at the airport to our drop off at Mana Pools, Natureways more than delivered on our expectations in every respect. Hornbill Lodge in Kariba was a great place to stay pre-tour as well. Thanks!

Amazing experience overall, entirely new views on game and wildlife.
Our canoeing trip went from Mana Pools to Kanyemba. We requested it for our family only since we couldn't make it to any scheduled trips. Luckily they were very flexible and willing to organize this custom trip for us.
The views on the river, especially when it's still wide and open is amazing. There are mountainside on the Zambian side and flat land on the Zimbabweian. In between are lots of beautiful islands on which we saw lots of game, especially hippos that just jumped into the water 50m ahead of us. Our guides always had a good eye in seeing hippos so we never came too close to one. Even when we basically slept right next to the hippos, crocs etc. on islands at night (they came quite close to our tents, which was amazing since you could see them in the moonlight) I never felt unsafe.
Our guides were super friendly, always willing to help and good cooks. There was always enough food and water at any meal, which they always prepared for us.
I highly recommend this trip to everyone since it's just a entirely different view on nature and worth the experience.

Fish Eagle Safari
The highlight of a Zambezi canoe safari is the opportunity to observe and sometimes interact with wildlife from a river level perspective. The knowledge and experience of the guides is essential in navigating the river snags and never ending supply of hippos and crocodiles that keep popping up in front of your canoe. A special commendation to our guides Zera and Kenneth for keeping us safe, informed and well fed.
From ease of booking, to transfers, camping logistics and generally keeping visitors safe on the river, Natureways have really put in a 5 star performance. They have made it impossible not to have a most memorable experience.
