Excellent service, highly recommended
We had a wonderful and well organised trip. Fantastic service!

Outstanding knowledge of where to go and excellent service.
This was our third safari with Encompass Africa. That shows that it is an outstanding knowledgeable and professional travel agent. They secured for us at three camps in Botswana & Zambia four nights for the price of three. No other guests we met had that offered to them! In addition we were given the best of the camps accommodation. We were completely satisfied with the camps we stayed at. Having a 24x7 agent in Jo'burg to assist in any matters that may arise shows their commitment to their customers. We would without hesitation use them again for our next African safari.

Wonderful African Experience
Encompass Africa helped to give us a wonderful experience in Africa. The itinerary organised was perfect, with a blend of city visits and two safaris, each a little different, which exceeded our expectations in regard to wildlife and the accommodation was superb. We had many internal flights and drivers booked by Encompass, all ran like clockwork and drivers were very punctual and courteous. We cannot fault Encompass, everything was organised extremely well, we would not hesitate to book with them again or recommend them to family and friends. It was reassuring to know they have a contact in Africa we could phone if needed.

Okavango Safari
We had a fabulous time at Kwara and Lebala and saw an astonishing diversity of wildlife in a very short period of a few days. The Little Kwara and Lebala camps were first rate, and the morning and afternoon activities made all that much better by the experienced guides. I would recommend this combination of safaris (Kwara and Lebala) to anyone, and we are really grateful to Encompass Africa for their recommendations in Botswana and Zimbabwe (Safari Lodge) and organising our itinerary. Overall a fantastic experience.

Exceeded completely expectations! Absolutely amazing! Thoroughly recommend!
My husband and I wanted to take our 7yr old daughter to Africa, but obviously with a 7yr old safety was our priority and so we went and saw the team at Encompass Africa, told them where we wanted to go and they tailor made our perfect dream trip of a lifetime. Our 3.5wks Encompassed Africa from Kenya to Tanzania, Zimbabwe and South Africa. It was seamlessly organised. The team at Encompass Africa are nothing short of amazing and the experts in their field. It was our second trip to Africa (first time as a family), and our expectations were completely surpassed. It was completely stress free, and utterly amazing. We simply cannot express our gratitude in words, (there aren't enough words to adequately articulate) to Jonathon and Danica and the team, as well as every single person involved on the ground in Africa. We would whole heartedly recommend you to anyone wanting to travel to Africa and experience it at it's best. Superb job guys! Thank you!! We'll definitely see you next time! Love Brad, Melissa and Zahra Singleton

From first contact with Encompass they were enthusiastic, listened to what we wanted and delivered.
We have just returned after spending 3 weeks in both Kenya and Tanzania.
From our first phone to Encompass who we hadn't heard of before doing some internet research.
Initially we were going with the popular named tour companies before we stumbled across Encompass.
We didn't really know what we wanted but with the help of Jonno, Boss of Encompass( who is South African) he drafted up an itinerary and sent it to us.
The email had a link to our own web page which had everything set out in it, including costs
We thought we would be part of a small group but no, it was just going to be the 2 of us plus it was cheaper than the other crowds for similar itinerary.
Going to Africa for us was a bit scary and we were trying to cover all the what ifs' but there were none for us.
From our first contact with Encompass to arriving home everything went like clockwork.
We saw some amazing sites, felt perfectly safe at all times, accomodation 5 star
Most of our time was on dirt roads, so yes it can be a bit rough at times.
We visited these parks in this order:-
Samburu National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Naivasha- water safari and walking amongst the animals on the island
Masai Mara National Reserve
Serengeti National Park-saw migrating wildebeest and zebras which we didn't expect in May
Ngorongoro Crater
Tarangire National Park
Amboseli National Park- saw Mt Kilimanjaro.
Our tour started and finished in Nairobi.
We had some long days driving between parks.
The longest was supposed to be 10 hrs from Masai Mara to The Serengeti which included crossing the border but it ended up being 11 and a half hours as, early into the trip we had a fan belt break.
Part of this trip was extremely rough.
In hindsight, I may have looked a cutting out 1 or 2 of the parks and included Victoria Falls.
In saying that, I throughly enjoyed what we did.
As we went in May, it was before the main season so the parks were a lot quieter which was to our advantage.
We had a little bit of rain which didn't affect us and some grey skies(not so good for photos)
Happy to answer any questions

Encompass Africa was absolutely wonderful in every way, as promised by a friend of mine
The Encompass Africa team members were extremely knowledgeable, efficient, helpful, and did everything to ensure our holiday was right up there with the best we've ever had. They thought of everything, taking a deal of the worry of making our own plans away, and we were very happy knowing everything was dealt with. They booked a marvellous safari park for us, Kwandwe, which exceeded all expectations we had, and we had not even heard of it! Without Encompass Africa, we would have missed it.

Faultless, Seamless and Superior
The Encompass Africa people put together a wonderful package for my wife and I...all done initially over the phone but more by email.... and everything went like clockwork. I soon realised that I could throw away my itinerary, and simply wherever I was a person would appear and we would be taken to our next destination, after having gained the fruits of our current location.
They were recommended to me by a friend who has visited Africa a number of times, and I have no hesitation in sharing that recommendation to all.
The Wilderness Safaris camps especially were superbly run and managed, and the people of Namibia and Botswana stand out as a beacon of the good of Africa and what can be achieved there by the locals.
My wife, who was a little apprehensive about going there, has come be a more passionate ambassador than I, if that is possible.
Well done, Encompass Africa, Jono, Danica, and team.

Superior travel experience - cities, safaris, culture
Excellent communications when booking--totally delivered on what was promised and exceeded expectations with the local tour companies chosen. Was very fortunate with the Ilios staff (Rory out of Cape Town and N'Doda out of Joburg) for both providing a great experience from the moment the tours began. I have done tours in other parts of Africa and Asia, and I would rank the experience from the time of booking with Encompass and the on-the-ground execution with local companies such as Ilios and (Street Scene in Durban) were totally worth it. Hotels were definitely at a western standard and made the journey that much more enjoyable-whether on safari, in an olive grove, or a city. Major chains, boutique hotels, and SA-based hotels were perfect.

Very personal service delivering 100% of what we asked for ... paying particular attention to detail
We were in communication at all times. The service was excellent with phone and e-mail contact. We were also given a very comprehensive folder with details of our itinerary and suggestions re tipping etc. We spent 3 weeks in Africa covering two safaris, 7 internal flights, a Rovas rail trip, time in Capetown and a visit to Victoria Falls. The whole trip far exceeded expectations with not one hitch along the way. Wonderful!!
