Perfect program and organization
Better is difficult to hope, we visited 3 National Park, Lower Zambesi, Kafue and South Luangwa, the best of Zambia, spending 3 nights each, 2 full days each of amazing morning, afternoon and night game and boat drives, with very special guides and comfortable jeep and boat.
We are very happy and no doubts to suggest Wilderness Horizon Safari, many thanks to Mr David and Mrs. Eva

A brilliant visit to Lower Zambezi thanks to WHS
I really enjoyed my trip with Wilderness Horizon Safaris. Beforehand, Eva was very helpful with planning my solo visit to Lower Zambezi. WHS was the only company I could find offering what I was looking for at a reasonable price and I’m so glad I went with them. My driver, Daniel, was good company and helpful throughout, as well as being a very good driver! The safari guide, Wilfred, was very informative and passionate about the wildlife, doing his best to find all the animals I wanted to see, and happily answering my endless questions! The chef, Garbis, made great food which was always in plentiful supply. Then there was the safari driver, Joshua, the boat captain and all the staff at the lodge who were friendly and helpful. It’s great that WHS is supporting the local communities, since Wilfred, Garbis, and the lodge staff all live locally, and it was pleasing to hear that through the benefits of tourism alongside sensitisation about conservation, poaching in Lower Zambezi is now pretty much eradicated.
Lower Zambezi is a wild and wonderful place. The lodge (Charangwe Lower Zambezi Lodge) has beautiful views of the river and over to Zimbabwe on the other side. It’s a peaceful spot and all you can hear is the sound of nature around you. Just around the lodge, we saw hippos, warthogs, baboons, elephants, kudus, impalas and lots of different birds. In the park, I was lucky to see lions and leopards on both days, as well as lots of elephants, buffalos, zebras, eagles and many more types of mammals and birds. Despite all the wildlife, I always felt safe and well looked after. We stopped for coffee breaks by the river, and for lunch in a quiet part of the park on the second day. Everything was very well organised, and it was a wonderful experience overall. I left with lots of great photos and memories, and I’d highly recommend Wilderness Horizon Safaris.

Unforgetable safari experience!
Very helpful company which arranged two incredible tours (Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa) for me. Communication is very swift and clear. Although it felt a bit weird to transfer money to a Zambian bank account, it was worth it every single penny. Eva arranged nice accomodation and very knowledgeable guides which contributed to the experience. The accomodation is excellent for anyone who want to experience a safari without spending too much money.

A safari we will never forget!
Last September, by boyfriend and I went to Zambia to see this beautiful country and its amazing wildlife. We booked the 5-days untamed lower Zambezi tour, and we loved every single minute of it!
On day 1, we met Daniel, a great man who drove us from lusaka to our stay outside of the park, and guided us during these days to make sure everything went according to plan. Also, if we had any questions, he was there to answer all of them and even make changes in the schedule to make sure we had the biggest chance to see the big five. The drive from Lusaka to our stay (and back after 5 days) took 5 hours, but we were not bored for a single minute! Daniel told us everything about Zambia: the culture, the tribes, how this country developed over time and what if faces this current year. I was amazed by his stories, and he was also very interested in how our country (the Netherlands) works. We could ask him every question, and he was not held back in giving us an honest answer. That is wat amazed me so much, not every country is the same, so you can lean so much from each other. He drive with us in the park and joined a few of the boat trips, and also has great knowledge about the park! Some days he joined us for dinner, and we continued these conversations and had a big laugh.
Not far from the park, we picked up Jacob, our guide through the park, and we noticed that he has unlimited knowledge about the park and everything it has to offer. He had deep love for nature, the animals, the people, it was amazing to see him work. He knew how to get around, how to read the animals, and taught us a lot about the nature and how this animals thrive in it. But also about the challenges it faces during the drought this year. He asks you wat you want to see, and when we mentioned we wanted to see the mating pair on day 2, we saw that he immediately loved this idea. He spent almost the entire day, discussing tactics with Daniel and our driver, where to go and how to do this while not disturbing nature and the animals. This was a difficult task, because the lions were hidden war in the closed bushes. At one time, I said the following: Jacob, even if it does not work out and we cannot see them, I had a great day watching you just trying with all the pasion you show. But he did not stop: and yes, we did get to see the mating lion pair! And this did not disappoint, it was amazing. At the end of the week, he managed to show us the entire big5!! The entire week he showed respect for the animals and nature, and he showed us everything without disturbing the park. That was amazing!
When we arrived at our stay, we met Javis (I hope im writhing his name correctly), our cook, and he definitely knows his way around the kitchen. Every day, he made the most delicious meals for us, everytime it tasted amazing! They were different every day, and he managed to surprise us every time with what he had planned for us. We were very happy that he joined our trip!
I would 10000% recommend this organization, and especially the three men in my story that made our stay unforgettable. We loved every minute of it, and we wish them all the best. We will never forget them, and we will tell everyone we know about this trip!

All promises were delivered
We enjoyed every single minute of our safari. The lodge recommended was absolute perfection, we were treated like royalty. South Luangwa National Park has amazing wildlife and everything scheduled ran as planned. Absolute satisfaction, except for the fact that our guide spent a lot of time texting on his cell rather than advising us on wildlife. He may have missed some elusive cats because he was more concerned with his personal cell.
