Very reliable and coperative and exchellent choices
The experience with Benson from Serema Safaris was excellent, from the inititial responses and consultations, to taking care during my stay (including trouble shooting were needed) and cooperation afterwards it was a very kind, professional and reliable agent and I can higlhly recommend his services. I booked the 4 Day Masai Mara and Naboisho tour based on his recommendations and he made the perfect choices (Partners, Camps, esp. Basecamp) for my needs and interests. Excellent value for money. These were wonderful days enabled by Serema Safaris. Thank you!

Exceptional Safari experience
Our trip was truly incredible! I cannot thank Seremara Safaris enough nor recommend them enough. From the very get-go the whole experience was smooth and hassle free.
We travelled the second week of February and did the Private Luxury 3 night package. We did a lot of searching on Safari booking trying to find the best offer and quality and are very glad that we went ahead with Seremara. We requested a quote through the site and received a response within 24hours, Benson was then very attentive to take note of special requests to create a bespoke experience for us. Up until we landed in Kenya, Benson was always at hand to answer any question we had and made sure we had all of the information we needed for our trip.
When we landed, we were picked up at the airport by our guide, Erastus, in a fantastic Toyota Land Cruiser which would be our car for the duration of our trip, and got us excited from the get-go! Erastus was fantastic! Friendly, knowledgable, and patient with all of our questions and requests, taking us to necessary banks to withdraw money and stopping to get a data card for our phones, making sure we were always comfortable and happy, teaching us about the animals and Kenyan culture.
From the airport we drove to our first stop in Lake Nakuru at the Cliff Hotel. A truly magical setting! Luxury tents set up high on the lake where the hotel team comes and opens up your tent curtains so that you can wake up to the sunrise. The food was spectacular and the staff incredibly friendly. We only stayed one night and wish we had booked to stay at least two! We did a game drive the afternoon we arrived and another the following morning and saw so many animals despite it being low season!
The next day after our game drive we drove to the Maasai Mara National Park, stopping at some "Curiosity Shops" to buy souvenires on the way. We did a game drive as we entered the National Park and headed towards our camp which was in the middle of the national part! We got to the park in the afternoon and it started to pour with rain as we made our way to the camp. The tracks were muddy and rivers beginning to rage but Erastus was calm and composed the whole time, ensuring that we made it safe and sound to the camp. We stage at the Mara Ngenche Safari camp and were, again, blown away by the experience. The camp sits on top of a cliff by the river where hippos dwell so you can see them as you have breakfast and hear them as you have dinner. The camp is also unfenced meaning that animals are free to roam, but don't fear as there are Maasai guides that take you to dinner and back to your room, and keep watch over the camp over the night. But it's great to hear the animals so close and hippos rubbing up against the tent's steal structure in the night. Truly breathtaking and we never once felt in danger! The tents were also incredibly comfortable, with large beds, roll top baths, outdoor shower and exceptional service from the staff.
The following day was my friend's birthday and we set out early for a game drive and spent the whole day in the park. The camp chef prepared a picnic for us to take so that we wouldn't have to return to the camp for lunch. Erastus picked it up and we stopped for lunch on top of a hill and had a picnic from the car bonnet, admiring the beautiful landscape around us and animals in the distance. Erastus was fantastic in driving us to all corners of the park to try and show us all of the animals! As it was low season there were few and all very spread out, even so we saw everything except leopards! Erastus was incredibly respectful of the animals, never encroaching on them or disrupting their peace but always placing the car so that we could get the best view and pictures.
In the evening when we returned to the camp, Benson had arranged called in advanced and arranged for a birthday cake for my friend so all of the camp staff came and sang him happy birthday. It was such a special gesture and made his birthday truly memorable. We watched the sunset as the hippos roared in the river and enjoyed some fantastic conversion with the Maasai members of the staff about their culture and lives and experiences with the animals.
The next day we checked out and drove out of the park, viewing the animals as we went. We stopped off at a Maasai village and paid to receive a guided tour and learn about their culture. A once in a lifetime experience of a very special tribe. Fascinating to learn about how they live an self sustain. From here we made our way back to Nairobi to catch our flight for the next destination. We met up with Benson to say goodbye, Benson and Erastus dropped us off at a hotel near the airport and we passed the time until our flight there.
It was a whirlwind experience and our only regret is that it was so short!! I honestly cannot recommend enough and I am already looking forward to returning and exploring more of Kenya's National Parks with Seremara and Erastus. However, going by Benson's judge of character in hiring Erastus, I am positive that all guides at Seremara are exceptional!
Notes of advice:
- Stay at least 2 nights in Lake Nakuro - the Cliff, one night is not enough to fully enjoy and experience the camp (they have a spa) and the surroundings.
- Stay at least 3 nights in Ngenche - for the same reasons! So that you can relax in the camp and take the whole experience in
- Take out more than you think you will need for tipping as once you leave Nairobi, ATMs are hard to come by. We definitely didn't take out enough for the exceptional service we received and weren't able to tip as much as we would have wanted.
- Don't buy everything in the first souvenir shop you stop at! You will stop at MANY, and they all sell similar things! Beautiful national crafts and you will want to buy it all... and it's hard to say no! So my advice is to buy a little bit at each stop :)

Unique experience with Seremara Safaris
We just came back from an 8 days Safari in Kenya and Tanzania and are still overwhelmed by the experience we had. We booked a customized tour with Seremara Safaris and we could not recommend them more if you want to have a really unique experience!
From the first contact Benson was always reliable and very patiently answering all our questions.
You could immediately feel that he was not just interested in selling a tour but giving us the best possible experience for our group.
The choice of accommodation was simply perfect considering the standard, cleanliness and location of all different types of accommodation. The car was in very good condition and we had the best driver we could have wished for. Driving safely, calmly and with detailed knowledge of the areas, animals and nature, eager to share with us and answer all our questions.
During the tour we were always flexible in agreeing on the details for the next day and we were always picked up on time.
We were super lucky as Benson chose to join our tour so we got to know him personally and had so much fun together.
It was truly an experience that we will never forget!

Trusted and professional
We worked with Benson to organize a safari to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. He tailored the agenda to fit our specific interests and connected us with a beautiful conservancy. Booking was very easy and we received a detailed itinerary with lots of pictures that were true to experience. Benson was responsive and met us at the airport to see us off. He was easy to work with and we would trust him to support another trip in the future.

Benso Ndunyu is extremely knowledgeable, professional, personable and responsive to his clients.
Seremara Safaris provided us with the experience of a lifetime. Benson made the process of designing our safari effortless. He responded promptly with information and changes we requested. He added extra touches that went above and beyond what was expected. The package was affordable and great value for the money. Our guide Jack was superb. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable about the animals, plants and history of the parks, he was warm, kind and funny. We always felt safe and looked after by Jack. Driving, rather than flying, between parks afforded us the opportunity to see different areas of Kenya and Jack was very informative about the different tribes and cultures we saw in passing. Working with Seremara Safaris enabled us to have a very personalized experience. We were fortunate to have Jack and our vehicle just to the 3 of us rather than being in a large group. This meant that we could stop and watch animals as long as we chose. We were able to see the big 5, many types of antelopes, hosts of bird species, basically all we hoped to see. We also learned much bout their behaviors and interconnectedness. I highly recommend Seremara Safaris!

Amazing vacation!
I discovered Benson through this Safari Bookings site, but I also got 2 quotes from other travel agents that were recommended by friends who lived in Kenya. We wanted to go to Diani Beach after, and Benson was the only one who worked with me to find a direct flight to the coast and also negotiated with the airline to get a better price. All the other agents just said I had to fly back to Wilson Airport first, and weren't very flexible nor helpful. Benson also helped to book us the SGR train back from Mombasa to Nairobi, as online bookings require mPesa which I don't have as a non-Kenyan.
The other tour operators just offered one place to stay all 3 nights, but Seremara had the option of 2 nights in the Mara and 1 night in Naibosho. To be honest, I had no idea what the difference was at the time, so I never would have considered this on my own, but I'm glad that Benson's tour package offered this. It really is great to experience time in Maasai Mara and a night in one of the adjoining private conservatories, because you get different experiences.
Overall, my husband and I had an amazing time and we would highly recommend you travel with Seremara!
Outstanding!!!
A big thank you to Benson for arranging a truly once in a lifetime experience. From start to finish our visit to Kenya has been exceptional and that is all down to Benson and his brilliant organisation. From airport transfers to arranging a five day excursion (Nairobi Day Tour,4 Day Nakuru/Masai Mara Safari) the trip was faultless in every aspect.
Thomas was a fantastic guide and we managed to see the Big 5 within half a day of being at the Mara due to his incredible knowledge and experience! The accommodation (Cliff - Nakuru,Kichwa Tembo - Masai Mara) were both perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment!Sunrise Hot Air Ballon Tour is an absolute must!
Thank You/Asaanti Kenya you’ve been true a pleasure!

Helpful and honest
We took the 5 day safari tour which included two different camps. The first was the Masai Mara Base Camp the second Wilderness Camp. Both were excellent/luxurious tent accommodations. Of the two, we preferred Wilderness Camp. The tents were absolutely beautiful, the land and wildlife balance was thoughtfully managed - and the setting was something out of a movie. Both camps had nice staff that were very accommodating. Benson, at Seremara Safari did an excellent job coordinating our stays, flights and even a long layover in Nairobi. He was helpful and gave good advice.

Amazing!
Benson from Seremara Safaris is awesome! He helped me work with my schedule to find and book the camps for my safari. He was always available to answer my questions and we always had good communication through out. The safari itself was an amazing experience! I would and have recommended Seremara Safaris to everyone. I would book with them again.
