Another Amazing Experience
5/5

My husband and I had the most exciting trekking experience Mboni Adventures. We had a great team comprising of 2 guides, 6 porters and a cook accompanying us on the trek. This was our second trip with Mboni Adventures and we were happy to return to our old friends.
Trekking in the off season was nice and intimate as the almost had the mountain to ourselves, particularly on the Rongai route. The weather was fair as it rained during the first three days before the weather cleared as we approached Mawenzi camp and we had great weather from there to the summit and back in Moshi.
The crew was amazing and really helped us with all the aspects of the trek. They made the experience fun and enjoyable. They are really great people and we are lucky to have been paired with them.
Thank you Jackson for the excellent planning and perfect organization, Johnson and Baraka our guides and the porters all deserve flowers for being awesome!

Highly recommended.

We arrived to a great welcome and found that Jackson and his team at Mboni were fully prepared and roaring to go. We had the received the pre-trek instruction 2 days before the trek and used them to help us pack our gear, Jackson had been very thorough in the preparation and did not leave anything to chance.
The weather was great and this worked well as we were able to keep to the scheduled pit stops and select nice spots at the campsites. I really appreciate our crew, led by guide Fadhili for being there to support every aspect of our climb. I highly doubt that we would have been successful in our attempt for the summit, being new to the mountain. They provided us with the direction and guidance. Helped with the food, setting up of tents, carrying of the luggage along the way and all the support chores that made our conditions comfortable. They also made the experience lively and enjoyable as they were great to be with, taught us so much about the mountain and the safety issues to observe.

Kudos Jackson and Mboni Adventures Crew
5/5

We had an amazing Kilimanjaro trek with Samson and Jeffrey of Mboni Adventures. They were friendly, humorous and competently supported us throughout the entire trek. They ensure that that we were safe, secure and comfortable. I was very impressed by Samson the lead as he took everything under his leadership such that no detail escaped him.
The trip went on trouble free, there was enough to eat for all, working equipment and we really gelled well together. The trek was very tough as the conditions take their toll on the body, particularly the low oxygen at the high altitude made us tire very quickly. The crew encouraged and helped us a lot. The extra day for acclimatization helped us make the last push for the summit.
I have a lot of admiration and respect for these guys. They are the reason we made it to Uhuru Peak.

Wonderful Safari Experience
5/5

My husband and I had an incredible experience in Tanzania with Joseph of Mboni Adventures. The trip was well planned with 4 days to explore the vast Serengeti and 2 days around Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Eyasi Basin. We flew to Kogatende in Northern Serengeti where we met with our guide Joseph. We loved both parks very much because of the abundant wildlife, beautiful landscapes and the fewer number of visitors in the offseason. Joseph found so many animals for us and he really understood us well. He could sense when we wanted to stay longer at a site and when we wanted to move on.
The food was amazing throughout the safari, one of the lodges had an organic farm and it was really nice to have farm to plate experience. The rooms were all comfortable and we had a great time.
I would recommend a safari in December to everyone, particularly those that are seeking a safari away from the crowds and Mboni Adventures know how to host the most remarkable experience.

What a lovely safari
5/5

What an incredible safari. We count ourselves lucky to have done this holidays vacation with Mboni Adventures. Jackson and his team at at the office organized everything perfectly, including our guide Philip who looked after us very well. He made us to feel like royalty and made our safari and amazing adventure and relaxing also.
The wildlife encounters from our great 4x4 were so many including some up close encounters with elephants, lions, wildebeest, baboons, buffaloes and hippos. We actually saw all the big 5 in the first 4 days and the sequence kept on repeating itself in the subsequent days. The lodgings organized were fantastic and had excellent service. Tanzanians seem to have perfected the art of hospitality in East Africa because the lodges were really amazing.
Looking forward to a next time

Organized and have the experience for a great adventure
5/5

It was very easy to book and the response is immediate and satisfying. Jackson was very accommodating and quick. We booked a 5-day safari and added an extra tour of Arusha national park last min. Our guide, Frank Magoma, was extremely knowledgeable, patient and funny. We had such a great time with Jim during 6 days and we learned a lot about the local culture, the fauna and wildlife. I couldn't recommend anyone better than him!
This is a Tanzanian-owned company and I would highly recommend booking with them and requesting Magoma to be your tour guide!

Kilimanjaro Trek and Safari
5/5

8 day Lemosho trek and 5 day safari - bookings and all questions managed by Jackson prior to arrival, was picked up by Frank who ended up being my driver a few times - the trek/climb was difficult but was made comfortable by the great team led by guide Atib and the fun porters. The equipment and food provided was excellent (tent was larger than other tour companies). The public toilets were a challenge (some companies offer private toilets). Glad I got to the top and for all the help on the way !
Safari was epic - Serengeti, Tarangire and the must-see Ngorongoro Crater. I stayed in the lodging (recommended upgrade from camping options), much more luxurious and comfortable. The majority of the time you drive round in a Toyota Landcruiser looking for animals with plenty to see. Big thanks to the Mboni team for the welcome and support - trip of a lifetime !
