Very accommodating, helpful and easy to communicate with.
We had a great experience with Savannah Sound Safaris. They were very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We had some trouble with delayed flights and we were able to reschedule all of our hotel stays thanks to Patricia.
Our driver Samuel was great, he had years of experience doing safaris meaning he had a map in his head of all the little roads and best animal spots.
He always answered any questions we asked and gave us a wealth of knowledge on every animal we saw.
We even had a couple of flat tyres on the way but that never stopped us from reaching everywhere on time.

Efficient, dedicated and knowledgeable team
Had a fantastic Safari with Savannah Sound in Jan 2025. The email responses from Patricia in the office were fast and informative. She was even able to reschedule hotels very quickly when we had last minute flight cancellations.
Our tour guide, Samuel, was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and was always happy to answer questions. He was a very safe and carful driver too, managing to dodge Kenya’s many potholes! He was respectful of the animals personal space, unlike some other operators we saw on the safari. This was very important for us.
Overall we had a fantastic experience with Savannah Sound Safaris and would definitely recommend them!

The Best
We had a great time. Trip of 3ppl (family) with 3 nights in Masai Mara + 1 night in Lake Nakuru. Smooth logistics, team ready to accommodate every need and very responsive. Accomodation was great and we saw a lot of animals. High value for money. Warmly recommended.

Commendably professional and wonderfully helpful all around
This is my second safari with Karanja having previously travelled with him back in 2015. Back then he was a wonderful safari guide, highly knowledgeable, organizationally helpful, and with a great command of multiple languages. I reached out again this year to organize a private safari for my wife and I and his company Savannah Sound did an amazing job putting together a custom tour of Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and various attractions around Nairobi. Both he and our driver/guide Sam were extremely helpful with suggestions and honest recommendations on how to make the most of our trip. The booking and payment process were very smooth with timely communication and flexibility, providing great confidence. We hope to come back again in a few years on a family trip and will definitely be using the services of Savannah Sound again!

We will never forget this wonderful trip
With Savannah Sound Safaris we had the chance to experience the pleasure of living beside the lovely Kenyans, and we will never forget this wonderful trip.
We had booked our safari through Savannah Sound Safaris in 2019, paying %40 deposit for the hotels, but unfortunately due to Covid restrictions our flights were canceled and we had to postpone everything. They were so trustworthy that they kept our reservation and money for us until March 2022 when we could finally go on this safari after two years!
When we started our trip, we realized that it was totally worth the wait. We were fully satisfied with our itinerary and how our tour leader planned everything perfectly.
Because of the particular driving condition in Kenya, you really need an experienced, calm and wise driver, ours was exactly like that.
Our tour took about a month and we really enjoyed the support and guidance offered by Savannah Sound Safaris team.
We highly recommend them because they are true to their word and deliver what they promise.

Excellent Safari operator, serious and reliable
Savannah Sound Safaris is a very serious and reliable safari agency.
We had chosen Savannah Sound Safaris last year after evaluating other agencies as well. The planned tour seemed well thought out and the lodges offered were of a good standard, all at a competitive price.
Unfortunately, a serious family mourning forced us to give up the trip a few days before departure. In these circumstances, the correctness of a company can be recognized: despite the short notice, we have been given the opportunity to postpone the trip without penalty. So we left exactly 12 months after the scheduled date. Other, less honest, companies could have found excuses to withhold part of the money.
The six-day tour included a visit to three parks: Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. Samuel was our driver and guide. It was a beautiful, well organized safari. Despite the roads in poor condition for the rainy season Samuel, always punctual, allowed us to complete the program without problems. Samuel knows practically everyone in the parks and this has allowed him to collect valuable information on the position of the animals that we have seen in abundance.
We can certainly recommend Savannah Sounds to anyone looking for a quality safari.

I think I made an absolutely correct choice about choosing Savanah Sound Travels. The owner of the company Danson was very responsive during the inquiry stage and we like the itinerary a lot! And Danson was there at the airport to greet us when we first arrived to make sure everything is ok. We fill much welcomed and appreciated. Nicolas, our guide, was also great! Very friendly, responsible, attentive and professional. We saw everything we would like to see on this trip! I will definitely recommend you to friends who want to visit Kenya. If I ever come back again, I will still choose you!
