Excellent tour with Eco-Africa
5/5

We had a fantastic tour with Eco-Africa Climbing & Safari. Eco Africa is a family business, where the owners are also the operators. This was very remarkable for the dedication and quality of the service offered.
An excellent experience where everything went according to plan and I was able to know beautiful places and spend a very fun day with my colleagues from Mexico and Thailand. Luis from Argentina

To the rooftop of Africa
5/5

I climbed Kilimanjaro with Eco Africa Climbing and 12 other climbers. The attention to detail was wonderful; each team member - the guides, chefs, and porters aka kili fighters - presented an air of joy, care, and total love for their jobs. They helped us every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. We could not have done this with better peoplw or a better company, and I definitelygot to the top because of their expertise and care. I'd recommend the company to anyone looking to climb!

Unforgettable experience with Eco-Africa
5/5

If you are looking to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro I definitely recommend climbing with Eco-Africa. Kili had always been on my bucket list and Eco-Africa helped make that dream come true. We chose to do the 7-day Lemosho Trek and the experience truly exceeded expectations. From the time we arrived in Moshi until the day we left Eco-Africa made sure we were taken care of, even showing us around Moshi and eating at local spots. On the trek, the guides, chef & porters were all fantastic. Every meal was delicious (you will not be left hungry) and the chef even surprised my buddy with a cake on his birthday. Overall it was an unforgettable experience working with Frederick & the Eco Africa team. I highly recommend and look forward to reconnecting one day in the future.

Amazing trip thanks to Eco-Africa Climbing
5/5

I can only recommend Eco-Africa Climbing to anyone who wants to climb Kilimanjaro, and / or go on a wonderful safari in Tanzania.
Eco-Africa Climbing is a local tourist agency that promotes environmental and social ethics and proudly (rightly) claims its partnership with the KPAP (Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project).
They were fantastic from start to finish, responsive and very accommodating. They were able to concoct a tailor-made program for me according to my particular wishes and interests.
Regarding the ascent of Kilimanjaro, they have done everything possible to make this unique experience as good as possible (excellent (and abundant) food, comfort, benevolence and kindness on the part of the whole team, ... ) and so that the goal (namely the top) is reached, which it has! :)
They also organized a tailor-made safari for me, which was fantastic from start to finish and allowed me to see beautiful landscapes and animals galore!
Between the ascent and the safari they also kindly offered a small visit to the Moshi center / market as well as a tasting of a local dish (unfortunately I can't remember the name;)
Thank you again very much to Eco-Africa Climbing for this professional, efficient organization, for their kindness, and for allowing me to make my dream come true!

The Trek of a Lifetime
5/5

Our Eco-Africa experience of trekking/climbing Kilimanjaro started even before we arrived with the complete, detailed instructions given us about everything we needed to bring and the answering of our many questions by Fredrick. They were waiting to pick us up from JRO airport when we arrived the night before our trek started, and they transported us to a beautiful and clean hotel that welcomed us for the nights stay with hibiscus tea. After an included tasty hotel breakfast, at 8:00am the following morning, our trek guides arrived and did a thorough check of our gear to make sure we were ready. We were able to store our extra luggage and even our extra money for secure keeping with the attentive, friendly staff at the Panama Garden hotel during the 9 days and 8 nights of our northern route climb.

We were then driven with our guides to the Eco Africa headquarters where we were treated to a fresh tropical fruit snack and regaled and welcomed with the "Kilimanjaro songs" sung for us by our entire team, including our guides, our cook and our porters. Then we settled in for about a 3 hour drive to the Kilimanjaro northern park entrance, where the guides took care of getting our paper work done for the National Park, and our cook prepared us a sumptuous hot lunch before we started the hike to Mti Mkubwa, our first campsite.

I can't say enough how much I appreciated the team that supported us for our climb and their abilities, and I reflected many times during our 9 days of trekking how I never could have made it to the summit without their daily assistance. Each day after arriving at a new camp, we were treated with a wash basin with spiced hot water and washcloth to wipe the dust off our faces and hands, and our tents were already set up with the thick sleeping pads provided by Eco Africa in place in the tents along with our duffel bags. Every day at every spot on the mountain we had a hot breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared for us by the amazing King, our cook, and served for us in the dining tent! One of our excellent guides always came in during a meal and was available for us to ask questions about our upcoming itinerary, or just to share conversation. There was always more food than we could eat, and not once did we have a "box lunch" or sandwiches.

Special appreciation is due our guides, Abu, Israel and our lead guide Rafael. Their leadership, experience and knowledge made me feel safe and secure. We learned daily from them many practical and interesting things during the trek.

Experience of a Lifetime- Truly Unforgettable!
5/5

Eco-Africa Climbing welcomed me to Tanzania like family and created many unforgettable moments for me on Killimanjaro, Safari, Making coffee with the Chaga tribe, visiting with the Maasai Tribe and swimming in the most beautiful Hot Springs.

Eco Africa was so incredible from the start with clear communication, and lots of information for me to best prepare to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

As a single woman traveling a lone I was a little nervous but was met with smiles and so much warmth at the airport and felt taken care of the entire time I was in Tanzania.

My experience on the mountain was truly remarkable due to my amazing Guide Alex and incredible team of check and porters. Everyday my team woke me up with hot tea and water to wash the most amazing breakfast you could imagine and c lear plan for the hiking, elevation changes and oxygen check. The team of porters were so incredible, warm, hard working efficient and organized and would meet us for another expertly cooked lunch and dinner every night. Eco Africas Team and Leadership allow you to just wake up an have the best day f your life everyday- they take care of everything!

I couldn't recommend more- they are knowledgable, flexible, welcoming, professional and simply amazing- thank you SO much for a trip of a lifetime!
