Once in a lifetime trip
5/5

From start to finish our experience with Ngoni Safaris was seamless. Every detail was taken care of, and we didn’t need to worry about a thing. Ben and Sedrick were wonderful hosts and tour guides, both hugely knowledgeable about their country. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience meeting the gorillas in Bwindi, along with four babies, and we had an exhilarating ride down the Nile on a white water raft !! Thank you so much Ngoni !!

Fantastic and professional service
Sedrick from Ngoni safari made app the bookings and arrangements for our trip to Murchison falls national park. We initially made enquiries from a few tour companies and ended booking up with Ngoni safari because sedrick responded our requests. All the places he booked and arrangements he made were just right. We were so impressed with the whole tour and would 100℅ recommended Ngoni safari

The review below is the personal opinion of Ramin and not that of SafariBookings.
Information about Safari and Hotel was very weak, we had a good driver who did his best
3/5

Agency has provided very weak information about trips, hotels, what to expect, and considerations. There was no wifi connection in the hotel, our MTN sims were not working to connect to 4G. We have not been offered an Airtel sim, which is very cheap and had 4G connections in the area. Agency was not aware that Ryno park is closed, there is a bridge construction in the Murchison so the road is suspended, etc. SO, the trip was full of surprises. There were no plugs in tents/rooms. I have been asked for meal preferences, but the only available sausage for breakfast was pork, etc.
Once we arrived at a Murchison Fall, the driver asked if we have anti-insect spray/cream with us. Apparently, we have not been advised to take one, but luckily I had a cream.
The only positive thing was the driver. He was experienced and was doing his best to make us enjoy the Safari.
It doesn't worth of money paid.
I will never choose and advise this agency to others.

Hello Ramin
Thanks for the feedback regarding your 3 days experience at Murchison falls national park, we apologize about the bad experience you had with the lodge, poor internet connections, bridge construction, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary being closed and not informing you earlier about this.

Let me first begin with the lodge (accommodation) experience; your colleague chose this accommodation (Murchison River Lodge) after rejecting abetter accommodation we had provided for you guys. We have our own specific accommodations we use for all our tours but when a client decides to choose his or her own accommodation and sticks on it then it’s normally hard for us to reject it. Murchison Falls National Park is crossed by the River Nile bisecting in to two sectors that is southern and the northern sectors of the park, in order to tour the wildlife in Murchison Falls National Park, one has to cross with the ferry to the northern side of Paraa area in order to do a game drive around the National Park.

The lodge (Murchison river Lodge) your colleague chose is on the southern and it involved crossing the river using the boat that’s if you’re coming from Tangi gate, before the water levels raised all tourists used to cross the river using the ferry and water levels on River Nile raised and submerged the ferry docking point at Paraa Murchison Falls National Park. The flooding made it difficult for vehicles to enter the ferry. There has never been a road that helps you cross that river a part from using a ferry or boat So NO ROAD WAS SUSPENDED (it’s the ferry that was suspended because of increased high water levels but boats still remained in operation).
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Closure; Ziwa Rhino sanctuary was closed a few days before the start of our trip to Murchison and there was no communication by either UWA or ZIWA RHINO & WILDLIFE RANCH regarding the closure of this place, they just informed us on phone when we had called them to book for Rhino Tracking and they apologized for not informing the public on time. Very many tour operators and tourists are bouncing back at the gate of Ziwa Rhino just because ZIWA RHINO & WILDLIFE RANCH never communicated to the public that they are closed, you can even check on their website you will see that there is no such communication.

Thanks for appreciating our guide and driver and we apologize about the challenges you faced while on the trip, we always ensure that we provide the best services to our clients for the good years we have spent in business you are the only client we have faced a challenge with I think because of the poor services offered by the lodge, Ziwa closure without communication, ferry closure and poor internet connections, we also emailed the Lodge you slept in and informed them about the challenges you faced while at their lodge and they asked for an apology and they promised to call you.

Kind regards
Sedrick

Memorable experience with Ngoni Safaris
5/5

I had a wonderful time in Uganda with Sedrick from Ngoni Safaris. As a young solo female traveler, one of my biggest priority is safety and Sedrick earned my trust even before I had booked and I am glad to say that I started the tour as a tourist and ended as a good friend! Although my trip was cut short due to messy flight SOPs related to COVID that had a huge impact on my itinerary, Sedrick still managed to include all the highlights that he possibly could and made sure I ENJOYED Uganda. There wasn't a single time that I felt uncomfortable or out of place. Sedrick and one of his assistant guide Newton were not only great care-takers but also a fantastic company and friends to be with! I had a great time with them and will book with Ngoni anytime I am visiting Uganda. I recommend them 100%!
Book with them and you won't be disappointed

Queen Elizabeth/Kibale/Murchison Falls National Parks with Ngoni Safaris Uganda.
5/5

I cannot speak highly enough about NSU and about their services provided to us while touring. From the beginning of our trip planning and arrival, to the day we returned from our trek across Uganda, Sedrick and Joel have been the best representatives of any travel company. Sedrick used to responds very quickly to any kind of inquiries and even came to introduce himself to us in Kampala upon the return from our journey, and also Joel was very knowledgeable guide, accommodating and a real delight to chat with for our extended periods of time in the car. I cannot wait to go back again to Uganda for any and all tours. To book again NSU will be the only option me.

They are Very reliable and profesional.

Some of the other agency cancelled our trip in Uganda and we already had the flights booked and fully paid, as well as another trip in Tanzania. So, at final we contact to Ngoni Safaris Uganda by email and asked them for a trip in between the days we had to be in Uganda.
As a kind of them, they answered us very soon, and answered every question very smoothly and quickly. And at last we booked a 13 day tour with them. At the time of tour, giving to us a wonderful itinerary with wonderful lodges. If any query we had, they use to solved it quickly.
When we arrived to Uganda, our driver-guide Nelson was waiting for us, he was charming, skilled and very polite during the whole trip and everything was perfect, thanks to them we met the amazing tour in that country, Uganda.
I just want to say that, Ngoni Safaris had saved our pre-planned trip to Uganda, that others almost ruined.

Trekking in the lush grasslands along The Nile River.
5/5

I spent two days in Murchison Falls National Park, throughout 7 day tour booked with Ngoni Safaris Uganda. The reserve is beautiful and filled with an abundance of wildlife, many types of Antelope, Cape Buffalo, Elephants, Giraffes, Hippopotamus, Lions and scores of exotic colourful birds. I was fortunate enough to see a Lion resting in a tree and that was one of my expectation while touring. Normally Lion do not sleep in trees.
The Nile River and the falls are outstanding with a beautiful scenery, and I highly recommend to have a trip with this river. There you will get an opportunity to see water is life with all types of wildlife making its way to the banks of the Nile to quench their thirst.

A day for GORILLA TREKKING- In Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
5/5

We visited the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest during the tour package with Ngoni Safaris, staying at Mahogany Springs, five minutes from the park entrance. Sedrick at Ngoni Safaris organised our trip, which was to make special and celebrate my birthday and truly, what an amazing experience it was! The trip they made ran like clockwork and Sedrick was always quick to answer any queries, regarding the trip. Also, the staff at lodge, were the best. They looked after us so well and were always friendly and helpful. On the last night of tour, they sang a very special and African, happy birthday to me. The Gorilla Trekking was well organised with the help of wonderful park rangers. Of course, that was last but not least, the gorillas were breath taking. Our family group had no less than 5 babies. It doesn't get any better than that for me.
My advice to every other traveller planning to UGANDA, If you want to see Mountain gorillas, just make a contact to Sedrick at Ngoni Safais, go to The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, you will not be disappointed!

A well planned and Wonderful tour to Kitgum Uganda
5/5

We did a 5 day tour out to Uganda’s Kidepo Valley National park with Ngoni Safaris, specially to see the gorillas. On very first day we were kicked off early morning from Kampala and after that we got lunch at Ziwa rhino’s sanctuary. From there we went to explore the African Savanna. The crossing of Great River Nile was amazing as we got the chance to encounter with the Rhinos and Hippos. During the whole trip we just adventure and adventure. The interaction with the local people of Karimojong was so interesting. Also we see some traditional tools, crafts and jewellery and the vigorous leaping dance was so joyful. At the end of tour, they arranged a special trip to the airport. Nelson was great in terms of answering all my questions in a timely manner and making sure everything was as I wanted. He is really such an honest, trustworthy guy.
