My experience and trip was spectacular
It was my first time to plan a trip to Kereita forest, someone recommended Shanjoy tours and Safari,it was the best advice ever.My day trip from the pick up point the fun filled, memorable day at The Forest at Kereita was simply splendid.Everything was well thought out in advance including the activities to engage in and paid in advance ensured my trip didn't have any hiccups.Their tour vans were clean and well maintained.Snacks and refreshments were provided to my surprise.Despite the heavy rains, Shanjoy tours personnel ensured our day ended with great memories.Kudos Shanjoy tours and Safari.I have used the tour firm twice this year.They have not disappointed.

Good communication skills, High class tour guide, I went with Shanjoy to Nairobi National Park and the experience was fantastic, excellent tour guide, I was also astonished be the way He knew almost all the creatures in the park by name.

Superb experience, professional organisation
With Shanjoy Tours and Safaris everything went super smoothly both in planning and in actual tour. We were in direct contact with Patrick, who helped us a lot to plan the safari tour (replies to our emails were nearly instant), and as well he was very assisting when we already arrived to Kenya. The safari tour itself was organised really professionally. We did not need to think of anything as all the aspects were already settled. We've been taken care in the best possible way. Couldn't imagine a better experience. We are very happy that we've chosen Shanjoy Tours and Safaris for our travel and highly recommended this reliable company for others too.

Professional, personable, and attentive throughout planning and during the safari.
Shanjoy was a joy to work with as they provided timely responses to our questions and provided excellent recommendations on destinations and accommodations. Patrick, the owner and our guide, did a phenomenal job. He got us to so many amazing animals while providing tremendous insight that helped us understand what we were seeing. He actively engaged our children (ages 9, 12, and 15), flexed when our family's needs and the itinerary conflicted, and showed true enthusiasm as he shared the people, land, and animals of Kenya with us.
A huge part of our trip going so well was the care given to my daughter's dietary needs. Since she has celiac disease (has to eat 100% gluten-free), Shanjoy advocated for her when booking hotels and upon arrival. After eating at five different hotels, she did not get sick once and always had multiple options. All the chef's were quite knowledgable about where gluten tends to hid and responded graciously to our questions. They even preparing some things separate so she would not have to miss out (dessert wasn't cut fruit every single time). I put this down to Shanjoy's proactive approach and their knowledge of what hotels could accommodate her dietary needs.
Our trip ended with hugs and a sincere sense of saying goodbye to a new friend.

Patrick is the BEST
Patrick was incredibly communicative and helpful during the entire process. When we met him in person for our safari, he was so kind, thoughtful and accommodating! He recommended the best Mara outing with Leopard hill on the conservancy. Our bucket list vacation was made a reality thanks to his expertise and bookings! Very reliable and trustworthy!

Perfect guides in perfect place!
We had a pleasant, exciting 8 days safari trip (Kenya & Tanzania) with Shanjoy Tours. Both guides (Patrick and Hasan) were amazing. They shown us everything what we expected and much more. They gave us the best experience - animals, a lot of information about countries and animals’ behavior, best camps and amazing conversations.
For us - they are 100% valuable. I truly recommend Shanjoy! The best adventure in my life (and I saw almost 20 countries)
Easy communication to develop a memorable safari adventure
We researched safari options on Safari Bookings.com and got three quotes. We decided to go with Shanjoy Tours as they were always quick to respond and sent a very nice proposed itinerary. Payment was easy online and any questions we had were dealt with very quickly.
On arrival we were met at Nairobi Airport and we were picked up from our hotel to start our safari. We did the 5 night/6 day safari in Kenya and Tanzania and it all went really well. We adored all the animals and Peter (Kenya) and Nelson (Tanzania) were great guides. All five of the big five were seen as well as lots of other birds and animals.
We did have a couple of issues on the trip (jeep broke down once and accommodation changed in Tanzania) and we did consider giving only 4 stars but the issues were dealt with fast and we were upgraded in our accommodation on our last stop to ensure we didn’t leave in any way disappointed. We certainly have not - we have made family memories for life and we would have no issues using Shanjoy Tours again.

The Shanjoy team was friendly, on time and always tried to make the experience a memorable one.
From the time we got through customs to the minute we were dropped back off at the airport the Shanjoy team managed our entire trip. They checked us into our hotels, drove us everywhere, took us to fun little souvenir shops and showed us all the major animals (Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Giraffe, Hippo, Zebra, Etc...). One day while we were watching a pride of lions our driver was trying to reposition our Land Cruiser and hit a fairly large rock that severed the driver side rear shock off the car. He never panicked but rather got us back to our base camp and went back to where the lions were to find the shock!! Unfortunately it was too badly damaged so he drove into town that afternoon, had a new shock put on and was back at camp for an early evening game drive. I was amazed at how professional he was and what an amazing vehicle that Land Cruiser is. Be forewarned, these guys want to show you all the animals and sometimes in order to get there you have to go through some pretty rough terrain. Personally, the off-roading part was some of my favorite times on the trip. We got to cross rivers, four wheel through dirt and mud and climb over small rock outcroppings all of which definitely tested the Land Cruiser and our driver's capabilities and skills. Ultimately, I would definitely recommend using the Shanjoy team!!
