Amazing experience
Our 5-day safari was very well organisied with exiting programm, comfortable accommodation and good food. Especially our great guide Jim made it an unforgettable experience. His great driving skills and his knowledge about the national parks and wildlife made sure that we enjoyed the safari.
Thanks Jim!

Things to be aware of | honest yet a little bit long review
We chose Lenchanda Safaris (or Jockey Tours) because its prices were lower than the other safari companies were offering, and we also read plenty of good reviews on the internet. Considering our possibilities, we chose the Budget 6-day trip for Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, and a few days before our departure to Kenya we sent an email to confirm that everything was fine, to which we received positive feedback. Our first guide was Francis, and he took us to Masai Mara and then Lake Nakuru. The fourth day, moving from Nakuru to Amboseli (long distance to drive), passing through Nairobi, we learnt that we needed to change guide (Alex) though keeping the same jeep. If it is true that until that moment we had a great time, from that moment on we started having a few issues. While driving to Amboseli through the night we realized that the car didn't have proper lights to drive (Amboseli is 4-5 hours away from Nairobi), something that we didn't know, so the trip after a while got quite scary and dangerous, as a matter of fact we have been also stopped by the police. It goes without saying that driving very slow because of reduced visibility increased the amount of time to arrive, and in the way we found out that the Lodge we were supposed to stay was not available and we were moved to a different camp (this was never mentioned to us at any moment in the past 2 weeks, even when we asked if everything was ok before our departure
Beside the fact that Alex was driving very slow so to be able to see, we were surprised by the fact that multiple times he didn’t know where to go, and not had clear idea of the direction to take. After plenty of hours in the car (it was around 9 pm), we reached our new accommodation, where we learnt that they were fully booked. Alex, even though he was not giving us proper explanations, was trying to talk with the office to find a solution. At the end, at around 11 pm, we moved to another hotel for the night (thankfully it was a 5-star hotel). However, for the last day, we moved again to another one, which was a very bad option, and a quote dirty option we have to say. Unfortunately, this experience had a very strong and bad effect on the overall safari experience.
As for the guides, the first one, Francis, is a very energetic and knowledgeable person about safaris, with many years of experience, so he played a crucial role in the trip for the first 4 days. Alex, on our opinion, is not a safari guide, even though he was giving us interesting infos during the game drives. Multiple times he seemed to not have experienced Amboseli before, and for sure he did not help us to spot animals in Amboseli.
As a whole, the safari trip was affected significantly by all those events. Of course, we enjoyed it because the places are very beautiful and being able to see these animals from such a short distance is amazing, but driving safely and proper organization/communication are key aspects that were definitely missing!

Perfect
Really good experience, good people and good food also extra praise to the chef. Don't worry about anything because they take care of everything. Our guide Albert is a true legend with alot of knowledge about everything and gave us the best spots. Thanks again to our tour guide for making this memory for life. The only problem we had was that you need cash money because you can't pay with a card and no wifi connection but forgot about your phone and enjoy real life.

Low Budget with High Value
Had an amazing time with Lenchada on my 3 Day Safari. Everything was well organised and our tour guide Johnny made sure we got to see plenty of wildlife. Since I'm on a backpacker budget this was one of the most affordable tours but the experience you get is worth way more. The accommodation is basic but comfortable and the super lovely staff makes sure you are enjoying your time.

A "must see" in Kenya
For someone spending quite some time in Kenya, a safari to the Mara is a must and personally, I think, I choose the right company to go with. Lenchada got recomended to me by some friends who did the tour a couple of weeks before me and it did not dissapoint. Even though we spent most of our time in the car our driver, Johnny, always kept us entertained either with some stories or pointing out the abundant wildlife surrounding us. He was very eager to show us as many animals as possible and is probably the fastest driver in the Masai Mara. The accomodation is hosted by a lovely group of people always trying to make our stay as comortable as possible. We absolutely got our money's worth, especially since we are traveling on a budget!

Very easy and helpful to deal with.
We recently went to Kenya for our honeymoon. We found Lenchada Safaris extremely helpful and professional to deal with. We spent time in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli National Parks. All were excellent but the Masai Mara was my favourite. All our Accommodation was all inclusive which was great as we didn't have to worry about keeping money on our persons and all accommodation facilities were first class. We saw all of the animals we hoped to see and it was a superb trip.
One major factor which made our trip so enjoyable was we really landed on our feet to be paired with Dickson Mutaiti as our guide. He was with us for the duration of the trip and was immense. His knowledge of the Natural World is staggering and he answered each and every one of the many questions we had for him about the animals in great detail. Wildlife is obviously far more than a job for him, it is clearly also a passion. He also displayed a first rate knowledge of the flora and fauna of the country and gave us great information on all aspects of this.
We covered huge distances between national parks, but time flew in the jeep with Dickson as he also gave us lessons in the social, cultural, economic and political history of Kenya as well as filling us in on current affairs around the country. His English is excellent and I can honestly say it was like having another friend travelling along with us. He is an engaging conversationist who made the trips very enjoyable. He was also very flexible and had no problem adapting to any requests regarding itinerary or times changes we had.
All in all I would rate the trip as first class, and Lenchada Safaris, and in particular Dickson, played a major role in this being so enjoyable. I couldn't rate him any higher except to say if you are booking with Lenchada Safaris, you will be very lucky to have him as your guide.

Albert is a legend, showed us the best places and had the best vibe!
The tour itself was amazing, our guide knew the right places and had knowledge of the animals and could answer all the questions we had. Our guide definitely went the extra mile 5/5. The camp was good but we where not informed on the fact that you cant pay with card, which basically made us there without money, which obviously sucked. The cook was a legend who cooked very good and was kind and communicating.
On a scale from 0 to 10 this definitely was a 8.
