Perfect for our family vacation
We just arrived in Nairobi from the 10-day budget camping safari and couldn't leave Kenya without reviewing this amazing experience we just had. It was a really complete package that included everything we were wanting to see in this country. Thank you to our driver, John, who patiently drove us through it all. We had a better experience thanks to him and his good work.
Would 100% recommend Lenchada to anyone travelling with or without a family or a budget. They make your experience the best one you could possibly have!

Wonderful Experience
We had a great experience in this tour! Their response was so quick and flexible to the arrangement. And our guide, Evans was punctual and helpful. Just one thing, we could not see rhino but other big4 could be met. Anyhow, we enjoyed a lot and want to come back again.
Thanks to Alex and Evans.

An awesome experience from start to finish, at a great price!
Everything went beyond my expectations. For how affordable this tour is compared to other budget safaris, I was not expecting it to be that great. But it turned out to be truly amazing! The accommodations were great, the food was fantastic, and our guide, Simon, was a rock star. Simon was able to answer all of our questions clearly and concisely, and was very funny. Simon was also very accommodating since we had a modified iternerary.

By far one of the highlights of my trip to Kenya!
This safari was affordable and amazing! Our driver Robert was so kind and knowledgeable about the history of Kenya. We didn’t just get a safari we got a cultural experience.

Superb!!
It was a massive experience I’ve ever had in life!! Richard is such a great nice guy!!
He found literally a giant (no kidding it was enormous and rather scary) crocodile having a wild lunch in the river. It was in the middle of food chain & something I could never experience back home in Japan!!
No only did I saw the crocodiles, I saw all the animals +++α I wanted to see including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes, Gnus, hyenas, hippos, chrocodiles & much much more!! Maybe 50+ animals that I could never see back home!! You can see those wild ones only in Africa. This is a must-do experience.
2nights 3 days happened to be a great choice for me. It was accommodative. neither too short nor too long. A full day in the middle will get you a full of animals you may only see in the animal picture book.
The morning session of the last day was spent in Masai village. Here is another once in a lifetime experience. You can spend time with them inside their houses.
Once again I strongly recommend this trip.
All the credit goes to Richard & the tour company. Thank you.

We just love you
Initially, we decided to go on a safari with another company. We are very happy that we have finally chosen to go on a safari with you. The location is beautiful, simple and very warm. Very clean and very well maintained! Although I am a very complicated person in the culinary art I have not encountered any problem in this regard even if the menu is a bit limited. All the staff are very nice, including the Masai or the safari pilots, especially our new friend Richie; Thanks to him we spent 5 wonderful days in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. We spent an average of 10 hours a day in Masai Mara with him and he always knew how to get us where the animals are. He explained and learned a lot about these places and animals.
It's wonderful to meet such places and so people. We hope to be back soon; and surely we will always choose you. Hakuna matata! Siku nzuri! kisses nyingi kwa nyote

The man, the legend, the cheetah chaser, James
The man. The legend. The cheetah chaser.
This is how we’d sum up our epic safari experience with James at Lenchada Safaris.
Not only did we have a close encounter with a herd of 20 elephants, but were a mere metre away from a majestic male lion all within our first two hours of being inside the Masai Mara.
We know that could’ve been luck, but we’re giving credit to James’ intuitive big cat sense.
All in all, the budget tour exceeded our expectations, especially night one in our VIP glamping tent with en suite bathroom (shout out to Mary) and the evening spent sharing stories around the bonfire with the Masai warriors. Plus, who can forget the vocal renditions of the lion king sang at our dinner table.
The only mark against this tour is that it simply wasn’t long enough. To all the common zebras out there, we’ll be back to experience more Kenyan magic.
