Jerry’s Tanzania Tours were great & they know their stuff & the food & accom were first rate.
Jerry’s Tanzania Tours has great support to go along with their National Parks safaris. The accommodations were very comfortable and convenient, and the meals were great - our chef was a Food & Beverage College graduate: freshly baked bread!
Our guide was a veteran of safaris and his knowledge was very thorough. His instincts shone through many a time and hidden gems seen frequently. So many species and large numbers.
Jerry and his operation were great in making arrangements and helpful, especially given my questions which were frequently emailed.
No complaints from me - I’m already looking at my return to include additional sites.

Kilimanjaro
Review:
We did a 7-8 day experience on the Lemosho route in the third week of July in a group of 6. It was a splendid experience. For people worried about physical shape, you do not have to do much training or exercise pre-Kili. Just listen to your guide, carry altitude sickness medication, and pace yourself. It was pretty doable. Jerry Tanzania Tours guides were amazing. Definitely comrades for life.
Our group greatly enjoyed the experience and came out stronger friends than ever.

2-day Safari to Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater - Amazing!
After climbing Mt Kilimanjaro with a different company, my boyfriend and I went on the 2-day safari through Jerry Tanzania Tours. We chose Jerry at first because of the good reviews and great price. Jerry was extremely easy to get in touch with and even provided guidance on planning other parts of our trip in Tanzania. The day before the safari, Jerry came to our hotel and briefed us on everything we needed to know about the next two days. Our safari guide, Shirima, was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable the national parks, wildlife, and Tanzanian culture. Our "camping" stay was amazing - I would barely call it camping. We stayed in nice sturdy tents with beds, access to a clean bathroom with a shower, and the food was delicious. We visited Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater - we saw amazing wildlife at both. At Tarangire we saw tons of elephants and giraffes. At the Crater, we saw a lot of lions, wildebeest and so many more. The scenery at the Crater is amazing. Throughout our time with Jerry Tanzania Tours, we were always taken care of. I would HIGHLY recommend going with this company, as they provide a great service at a great price.

Wonderful and Memorable Journey
We joined Jerry to Kilimanjaro and Safari this February. The trip to Kili was superb. Two nights at a resort in Moshi before climbing was excellent.
Seven days to Summit of Kili was tough but the team (guides, cook, porters, etc.) took good care of us. Nice food, well sleep and services in addition to the support of our team brought us to the summit finally.
For the Safari trip, it was excellent. Animal migration is fantastic which should be seen in a life. The guides, full of information, led us to see the “Big Five” and variety of animals we cannot see anywhere else. Traveling in the Safari is tiresome but sleeping in a tent furnished like a hotel, surrounded by animals in the night, is wonderful.
Dinner like in a restaurant, our weights were not markedly reduced.
Thanks to this company for their nice arrangement that made this trip memorable!!!

Absolutely amazing experience
I joined a group of two other couples for a 6 day group safari with Jerry Tanzania Tours. It was everything I hoped a safari would be. Our guide, Munuo, worked hard to make sure we saw all of the Big Five and so much more. We learned a lot about the animals, landscape, culture, etc. Highlights included watching a lion happily eat a warthog, watching three lions on the hunt for first a warthog and then a zebra, watching baby elephants wrestle right outside our Jeep, and seeing giraffes and so many other animals up close. I was worried that I wouldn’t see many animals because I didn’t go during the Great Migration. However, there were plenty of animal encounters and no shortage of wildebeests and zebras.
The accommodations were great. Everyone was very friendly. Asante sana!

Mount Kilimanjaro trek with Jerry Tanzania Tours
My friend and I summited Kilimanjaro via eight-days Lemosho/Northern Circuit route with Jerry Tanzania Tours. I strongly recommend this route as it was quiet route that lets you get close to a remote, serene mountain beauty that I didn't expect to encounter climbing such a popular mountain. They provided our excellent guides, Mremi and Robert, an extraordinary cook who kept us well fed with delicious meals, and a great support staff of camp helpers and porters who worked so hard all week to keep us going and we trusted the entire team throughout our trip. We were well acclimatized by summit night and had no issues at all with mountain sickness. The climb was tough, but the descent, for me, was the really hard part. Sore knees and toes kept us from going all the way to Mweka camp for our final night, but after a restful night at Millennium camp, we were ready to hike out the next day. We highly recommend this company to anyone.

Unforgettable experience
My experience with Jerry Tanzania Tours and Senior Guide Anthony Jackson surpassed my expectations. It truly was a life changing event for me. I was not expecting to come home with all sorts of emotions that I am feeling which consists of jubilation in summiting to missing the Guides and Porters. What they did for us is indescribable. I am at a loss for words. Anthony led such a professional and personal journey with awesome leadership and passion. My time spent up there is very special to me. I think about it every day. It was an incredible journey being on that special mountain. You learn a lot about yourself in these kinds of situations when it is so challenging. I feel very privileged to have had Anthony, Emmanuel, John and Brighton at our side, pacing us, going pole pole - step by step closer to the top. We were blown away by their exceptional care, positive attitude and loving and caring spirit. I have been hiking for many years, am very physically active but this 8 day trip via the Lemosho Route was the hardest thing I have ever done. You hear it over and over but you never really believe it until you have experienced it yourself. In my group, I probably had the worst of the altitude sickness, but I have to give credit to my team for their support and Anthony and John for being at my side especially during the last ascent. I wouldn’t have made it without them. I think they probably would’ve carried me up that last ascent if they needed to! That is just what they do! They took care of me 100% of the time, and as much as I was suffering, they managed to always make me laugh and smile. I was never scared and I had 100% total faith in them in their abilities and judgment. I did everything they told me to do (when to eat, drink). The porters worked tirelessly and everyone was 100% important to me. In one week, I really grew a deep fondness for Anthony and his team. Jerry Tanzania Tours, thank you for employing such beautiful people. The food was fabulous, I just don’t know how they do it! Truly amazing. And I have to mention them singing to us when we would arrive to camp. What a beautiful thing! I would be completely wiped out and totally exhausted – then I would hear it! Singing! It lifted my soul! Well I could go on and on. Thank you Jerry Tanzania Tours for your commitment in making these trips an incredible experience in which I will be forever grateful. I will return to Africa for sure one day again! Asante Sana from the bottom of my heart!
