Fantastic experience with highly professional team looking after guests to ensure the best moments!
It was really a fantastic experience with highly professional team (Antony) looking after the guests to ensure the most memorable experience. Understand the wild life so well that we could benefit extra view, undersatnding the animals habit.
A peaceful moment in our life. Thanks for that amzing experience. Antony has exceeed all expectation we had. He raise the bar of detailed service at a new levels. he BBQ, drive carefully, nice and quiet, polite and so experience and knowlageable with animals, birds, trees, etc.
Also, a special thanks for recommending the Waybury guest house and arranging the pick-up from the airport and drop-off afterward. Everything was executed perfectly! 100% right.
Thanks again Antony from your guest: Francois, Alexis and Karine.

The perfect introduction to Kruger National Park!
After a great deal of research, we sent inquiries to Wildlife Safaris and another company. In just a few minutes, Lynn called us! We discussed what we were looking for in a safari to Kruger National Park and she explained that this week end was a 4 day holiday and all the camps at Kruger were fully booked. She could book us for the Monday, she offered. We agreed. We proceeded through the booking and payment process and waited for Monday! Hoppy, our driver and guide, arrived to pick us up in Jo'burg. The ride to Kruger showed us a fascinating region of South Africa. Once inside the park, the sightings of birds and animals began. Hoppy was a great guide, knows so much about all the wildlife, especially birds! We identified so many birds during our drives - amazing and fun, and we observed elephants, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, and other critters Kruger is so well known for. He took very good care of us, too. This 3 day safari was the perfect introduction to Kruger National Park. We are SO happy Lynn called!

A perfect introduction to safari tailored to our family's needs!
We decided to book our safari through an organised tour as my husband had never been on safari and was unsure of what to expect. We found the booking process very easy, and the service was efficient and very professional.
The day before our departure, we were contacted to make our final arrangements and given advice on what to take, etc.
Clive, our guide, collected us at 7am, and from then until the moment he dropped us off, he treated us with unbelievable patience and really looked after us. Clive was very knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions and impart information in a gentle manner. While we were on safari, our son had his birthday, and the company was fantastic with sending messages and arranging a special surprise cake for him. Clive's patience came to the fore yet again as our son wanted to take photos of every single animal on his new camera!
Our whole experience surpassed expectations, and we would highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to go to the Kruger National Park. A very special thanks to everyone involved in making our safari the highlight of our holiday.

confortable and safe
we did the Kruger Park Safari Tour in September. The guide Susan is an excelent guide, very professional and kind. Generally speaking, we are not disappointed about the tour experience but we didn't like to change 2 restcamps in 2 days (SKUKUZA and PRETORIUS) and in particular, we didn t like PRETORIUS Camp (where we didn t find restaurants but just a WIMPY!). The price of the tour is too expensive for this poor options.

Posted on Oct 18, 2014Hello Aldo ,
We appreciate your comments following the Kruger Park safari .
Re overnight stops on the itinerary you chose - we usually arrange both nights at the same camp in Kruger & I agree its inconvenient having to pack-up & change camps . However , in high season such as Sept , we face constant problems finding suitable chalets on the dates required . We are contracted to National Park & governed by their rules which prevent us holding surplus chalets for the benefit of overseas visitors . Reservations open almost 1 year ahead of expected arrival & many bookings are placed several months in advance . However we can now book online 24/7 which is a big advantage .
Meals - I am sure Susan told you that National Parks have decided to partner with franchised South African family restaurants ( such as Mugg & Bean , Wimpy & Debonairs ) to manage their restaurants in the main Camps at Kruger . These restaurants have only opened during recent months & I have read several negative reviews about Wimpy in our local press . As Tour Operators , we can decide to avoid staying at Pretoriuskop or suggest to the guide that he does a barbeque . We have certainly noted your remarks .
I hope you have some wonderful photos to remember your safari .
Kind regards Christine

All that we hoped for
Our guide, Sue, was excellent:- friendly, knowledgeable and eagle-eyed (and a good driver!) Although she didn't promise what we might see, we actually saw everything we hoped for and more, both large and small, animals, birds, insects and reptiles.
Communication with the company was efficient during the booking process and Sue was asked to report back every evening, to ensure there were no problems.
The accommodation and food were adequate, though not luxurious. However, it was worth having the last day in the private game reserve, both for the higher standard of lodge and the fact that we could go off-road and get even closer to the animals, including an exciting encounter with a leopard!
Incredible Experience!
We chose the five day safari and had a wonderful experience! We saw all seven of the "big seven" And had great views of many others. Our guide Clive was very informative and entertaining, a real pleasure! We really appreciated his special attention and accommodation for an older member of our group. Everything was well planned and the accommodations and food were very good. Exceptional service throughout!

Fantastic safari with an excellent guide
We went on a fantastic four-day Kruger safari. This was our second trip with Wildlife Safaris, and we wouldn't hesitate in going again. The booking process was very smooth, and professionally handled by Christine. Our guide, Hoppy, was very knowledgeable and he was a pleasure to have as a guide. He was always tailoring the safari to our interests in order to make it the best experience possible, and he definitely succeeded. We saw many different animals and we had a great time. This safari was the highlight of our two-month trip to Africa and Europe.

Our trip far exceeded our expectations, which were already pretty high!
I couldn't praise Wildlife Safari's enough. From our initial enquiry when our questions were dealt with helpfully and quickly, right through to the end of our trip. Admittedly the amount and variety of wildlife we saw made a difference, but the guide, attention to detail, standard of accommodation and scheduling were all excellent.

The big 5 and more!
The safari was amazing! We saw every animal we wanted (lions, leopards, cheetah, rhinos, zebras, elephants, hippos, giraffe, hyena, ect). Our guide (Hoppy) was really friendly and helpful. We took the 5 day safari and got to experience both Kruger National Park and a private reserve. It was great to experience both options. Kruger was better in my opinion, less hokey. But the private reserve was able to show us the animals we hadn't seen yet. The food was excellent and there was always plenty of it. The beds were nice too. We felt safe the entire time if that's a concern. I would (and have) totally recommend to anyone. If you're looking to go on a safari, this one is worth the cost and time.
