Friendly, organised, took care of everything
We booked a four-day safari (with the last night at a private lodge). Wildlife Safaris were extremely helpful and responsive in answering questions about the different options (a big reason we went with them), After we had booked, they were organised and clear in processing payments and letting us know what we needed to bring - and there were no hidden costs or snags.
The safari itself was excellent. We were collected on time, driven in a comfortable vehicle to Kruger by a friendly and knowledgable guide (Hoppy), and had already seen elephants, giraffe, buffalo and eagles by the time we arrived at the lodge on our first night. The package was a good way to experience the full variety of what Kruger had to offer at a reasonable price over a long weekend: one night and drive with a small lodge on the periphery, one night and drive in a big lodge within Kruger, and the private lodge - which I’d highly recommend (I didn’t fully understand before booking, but private lodges with their own reserves keep more active track of their animals, and have more flexibility to deviate from the road - we had an outstanding on-foot sighting with some cheetah and managed to track down the elusive rhino on our last day).
Our guide was a helpful presence throughout - our drives alternated between him and lodge staff - keeping track of animals we’d not yet seen to try to make sure we saw as much as possible, answering questions about the animals authoritatively, and being a friendly conversationalist!
All in all, had a very good time - we were lucky enough to chalk up all big five as well as aforementioned cheetah, hyena, hippo and many other birds and beasts. Would recommend Wildlife Safaris and this package in particular.

Great company, knowledgeable attentive guide. Definitely recommend!
We would definitely recommend booking with Wildlife Safaris. Our guide Hoppy was great. Very knowledgeable and great to talk to. We liked supporting a small family run company too. Was good value for money. Mid range i.e. we didn't want to stay in 5 star resorts, but didn't want to take the fully budget cost cutting option either. We will definitely choose Safari Adventures when we come back again! We did 5 day tour with one of the nights in a private lodge, however if we would recommend spending the whole time staying in Kruger instead. Private lodge is nice with a pool etc. but not as authentic. If you stay in Kruger you don't have to enter the park each morning, and you see more of the park.

Barney was helpful and pleasant.
Wildlife safaris did a great job of communicating all of the information we needed for our trip as well as providing a knowledgeable guide.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with the best tour guide
I'm currently in South Africa and at the Kruger National Park for the first time. That one was the most fun I've ever had! I believe our tour guide Simon Taylor played a significant role in that. The most important quality about him is his desire for supporting us even in small ways after tour hours. He is a decent, polite, and professional individual. He always made an effort to make sure we were comfortable so that we could all have a great time together.

could not have asked for more... it was absolutely fantastic experience
This was my second trip to South Africa, and for that matter, second safari at Kruger National Park. Surely there was a bit of hesitation at the start, especially due to reports on media and certain blogs, strikes and load shedding etc.... Surely, South Africa has her share of challenges just like many other places but this place is magical in my view.
About the tour group, Wildlife safaris, from the beginning they were very professional. Jonathan with whom I had my initial communications was very professional, extremely helpful and courteous. Always answered my questions to the point and made additional helpful suggestions when needed. Also I had a positive experience with Lorraine in the office.
Our tour guide was Simon Taylor. He was absolutely fantastic. Not only his knowledge, but his passion for nature and African Wildlife is commendable. He took every possible effort one can possibly take to show us more and more animals. I have no doubt that he has seen all that on many of his trips to Kruger yet he was so eager to spot the animals as if it was his first visit. He is an absolutely super guide who is well organized, efficient in time management, and above all so passionate about his work and extremely friendly. We also had a super good group, six of us altogether from different parts of the world, but we gel well as a group, and overall, had a fantastic 4 day safari... spotting the big 5 twice in 4 days. All that thanks to Simon's effort.

A great experience
The tour was perfectly planned and executed, our guide Nick and his lovely wife were amazing. We managed to see the big five and many more wild animals and birds. We also were very well matched with the other couple that planned the safari in the same days, so we had also super pleasurable lunches and dinners and it felt as if the 6 of us were old friends. Kruger Park is a unique place where the nature dominates and we felt humbled by it. I loved every moment and I hope I’ll be able to do another safari with them.

Completely organized; knowledgeable guide and animals, animals, animals!
This was a long-delayed adventure from the 2020 COVID days. Over those years, Christine and the staff of WS kept things together and continued to reassure us that our dream would eventually be realized. We had planned the Kruger 5-day Panorama Tour and through the years that continued as our sole focus.
In 2023, the bush camps and resorts perhaps changed a bit but the essence of the trip remained intact. Our guide picked us up as scheduled in our Joberg hotel and immediately immersed us in his knowledge of everything we were seeing along the way to the Sabia River Bush Lodge immediately adjacent to Kruger Park. As a matter of fact the Kruger fence line runs along the back of the property so there can be any number of changing collections of wildlife on the other side of the fence. How delightful it was to spend late afternoons and early mornings with the Hippos currently in residence - 3 adults and 3 children!
Our other two Bush Camp/Resort experiences differed but were equally enjoyable. Throughout, our guide gave us insights and willing/knowledgeable responses to our many uninformed questions. We had no idea that the Park is teeming with wildlife of all sorts or how varied the geology and vegetation is. The only constant in a Kruger multi-day visit is the changing panoramas and wildlife combinations.
In the end we saw thousands of animals and must admit that the highlight was the sunset drive from the Satara Rest Camp. We spotted a pride of 8 lionesses directly beside the road and 5 males in various stages of sleep/rest along the way. And we surprised a young elephant in a family at rest beside the road which immediately put the senior female into an aggressive state along with a very audible warning to bug off! Exciting and humbling!
We'll never forget these and other memories of our time with our guide and Wildlife Safaris in Eastern South Africa!

Very well organized
Our first safari and it was amazing, saw lots of wildlife. I found the skukuza camp accommodation a bit tired. The sabie river camp was lovely .
The guides were very informative and knowledgeable. The tour vehicles were not huge and not crowded do that made the safari a bit more enjoyable.
Going in the South African winter is great as there is not a lot of foliage so this makes spotting animals easier and it was not that busy. I felt the value of the safari was great for what was included. I would highly recommend them
